How is Sesame Place? We are talking about taking the kids there next summer. My kids love Elmo.

SS is fun! How old are your kids? Definatly for the 7 & under kids! BIG TIME PEOPLE POWER PARK..no sitten & relaxing rides! However I wouldnt drive from MI just for this!

I think it's a bit off.. that would be 1 day and 3 hours till airport time (getting there 5 ish should be ok).. and 1 day and 9.5 hours till Orlando.

Ima little late on this...But do You have a Backyard???? When I was a kid I got my fireworks from my Uncle the cop!!! What did the cop tell him, since it is legal...BUT I DOUBT FOR A 8 YEAR OLD!

That reminded me.. We got our from my uncle the fireman!!! They would confiscate fireworks andd he would bring them to us, becausewe lived in the next town over.

I like Sesame Place. The kids really enjoy it. We have been going there all my life. It really is mostly water rides, although they just added 3 new non water rides(kinda like dumbo types).
We go for about an hour in the morning and leave when it starts to get crowded. If you have any specific questions just ask. I'll do my best to answer them.

You won't believe how far people drive to go to sesame. Alot of people add a lot of day trips when they come out here though......lots of stuff in philly and even though it is beyond me, the jersey shore(I hate the ocean....and the sand.....and the bugs.....but I LIKE the casinos ).

We were SUPER lucky - drove to the river, stepped onto out little piece of bank and BANG they started.....back home in a total of 45 minutes! (That made DH happy since he griped about going....Cranky....) But, like DU I am covered with not-so-lovely bites this morning. (oh lordy, from bugs...not Cranky!)
