OK ...calling all limey's...requesting more prayers. NSALZ's and PD's brother had a heart attack yesterday. He got three stents put in today. Doctor said he is very lucky that he is still here with us. Another stressful time...but we realize how blessed we are that another near tragedy worked out for our family. Our little sis called a while ago to let us know he was out of surgery and doing OK. She went with our sister in law to the hospital where they did the surgery. About 1 1/2 hours away.

Sending lots of prayers your way. This seems like the Doodlemuffins family year of heartache. Hope that stops soon.

Kim said the real estate agent she's been talking to said they just opened up bond money for first time home buyers in the livingston parish area. (up to about 4% of the cost of the house). She told Kim that we qualify for it, so I'm hoping we can get it. If so, it would cover closing costs, and extr fees, so there is a slim possibility that we would have ZERO out of pocket. which would be really great, but I'm not holding my breath. Don't want to get too excited about it til it happens.

Who wants to tell me which is better for 4 and 8 year old cubs, Typhoon LAggon or Blizzard Beach ...never been to either - heck, we MIGHT do both!!! (With 10 days to use - man, this is so great!!! We didnt do vacations for years...then would do 4, 5 or 6 days....10 is gonna be heaven!!! )

I'd go for both, but if you had to pick one, I like BB best for kids (and me). The "ski camp" is really cute. Also, the slides at TL are rough on the backside. Some feel like a spanking. Now there's a time and place for that but not at a family park.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you all. I got reassigned at work, worked my schedule to finally get a Sat. off of work, and my one year old took a rare and much-appreciated nap. Next thing we know, we're in the doctor's office hearing a tiny heartbeat. Hope that's not TMI.

My personal favorite and also dh and Tots is TL and dd10 is BB. Wither one you will have a great time. The pool in Blizzard beach is hard to swim in. TL..although has the big wave pool has swimming areas that are not so wavey.

Do both. Now with having little kids I felt more relaxed at TL. BB I had to be with the kids at all times. And trying to do slides with little ones isn't fun.. At least a TL I could stand at the end and they went up and down the slides themselves.. Plus they have the giant wave pool..

Hey all you Limey's

how ya'll doing? Kim and I just came back from putting an offer on a small house. We should know in the next couple days if they accept or not. We've gotten 100% financing, but we're still trying to get other options like bond money that just became available. We'd like to not have to pay any out of pocket fees, but we don't know if thats gonna happen or not. We have some money set aside, and we can take loans on our 401K's if we need it. The house needs a little bit of work, but I think we can get it. We'll keep all you Limey's posted.

Prayers and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and Mrs. Oakie! This is sooo exciting!
