I don't think he's really had ear infections. He has problems with his speech & they think that's the cause so hopefully it will help. My sil is terrified because she's had several tumors in her ears & has had to have her inner ear canal reconstructed & she's terrified that this is the beginning of those same problems for him.

Oh Mary I had no idea. Kinda smacks me in the face for just worrying bout my kid going away for a few days doesn't it?

I truly hope all goes well

howdy y'all. Hope everyone is having a good start to their week. Kim and I are going to change our vacation plans. We don't know yet if we're going to be able to go to Disney anymore. We are SOOOOOOOOO getting tired of our apartment complex. We are going to concentrate on finding a house and getting moved in by the time our lease is up on our apartment in August. The latest news is that we were told we have to get rid of our satelite dish (after being told we could hook it up 4 months ago) and we're going to have to pay an early termination fee which the apartment complex isn't going to pay. Soooo you can see how upset we are. We're ready to move. So down payment money and moving van and stuff for a house come first before disney. We're gonna try to go, but not sure what we can do.

That's exciting about looking for a house. DH and I paid off ours last year. That's something that never happens when you're renting, so it's a light at the end of the homeowner's tunnel.

I KNOW that they can take the same amount of liquids here BUT it is the stupid teachers who have said NO. I have had to use EPI-PEN on her when she was 3-5 but she of course doesn't remember that.

I am actually looking forward to her being gone (bad mom) just a different part of me wants her to be here. can you understand that?

I know just what you mean. Sometimes the freedom and privacy and less drama are nice, but you still love and miss them. I'm praying for a safe, fun, educational trip for her.

That smiley really makes me laugh!!! My cubs are in a thumbs up mode right now - tonight they were running around w/ their thumbs up, there mouths open, and their eyes shut, while nodding their heads....they looked VERY silly!

That sounds funny. Did you take a picture of that?

guys I've been on and off all day.. 2 little ones are sick.. Nick is running a fever all day... Em is just miserable so i am holding them and its so fun to try and hold 2 at one time... I am off now to try and rest.. Didn't get any sleep last night so I am beat... Catch you all tomorrow...

One of my twin soon-to-be-4 y/o nephews is getting tubes put into his ears tomorrow. Poor guy! This will be his first surgery. His poor little brother has had several eye surgeries & a hernia surgery.

I found out today that school will start no later than 8/23 next fall, so no Secret Green Club meet for sure for me. You guys that go will have to call me after 6 pm FL time (my boss frowns on personal calls during the school day. The kids tend to run amok).
