She leaves tomorrow @ 2 (they are hoping it isn't a snow day :crazy2: ) plane leaves airport @ 8:30.

She comes home on the 16th. Gonna be a long time for this Momma duckie I haven't been away from her this long since she was born. :(

I hope it doesn't snow either - bleh! Well, I'm very proud at how well you've done and keep thinking of the great things she'll get to see!!:thumbsup2 And you'll prob get some cool souvenires too!;)

How goes it tonight Jacqueline?!! Is Em all packed? When does she fly out tomorrow? Are you going to the airport to send her off? (I sound mighty excited....I have to live thru her!)

This house is WILDLY crazy. She only took time off to watch Prison Break

The suitcase has been packed THREE times and is once again spread all over the floor. She keeps getting all upset cause teachers told her she can't take stuff she wants (chapstick etc .... told them to pack in suitcase, what good will that do on the plane?????)

We only get to drop her off at the school , John is freaking bout that one. His baby girl will need to spend hours without him. Good grief Dad she turns 18 on Friday

Em's biggest concerns: flying on the plane
planetrip.gif
and eating in Italy due to her allergies. OH wait forgot about the new Epi-Pen she needs to take with her, she had to get a "buddy" who will help make sure she can use it if needed.

Awww, :grouphug: to you all. My DH would be a wreck too - I have a life of being the strong one in front of me! I "THINK" you can now do chapstick... ofcourse it might be different in Canada. (Here you can can carry several small items like that - info on air carrier web site..)

I was always nervous about using my Epi-pen - then my sisiter was given a one to practice with (my other sister and I never got one...shame..) We had "fun" one Xmas practicing - but the best practice ever was shoointg my old one into and orange (one of my doc friends suggested this...) It gives you the real feeling of how hard you have to push, etc.

Well, hope tomorrow flies by and right when you get used to her being away she'll be back!:goodvibes

I KNOW that they can take the same amount of liquids here BUT it is the stupid teachers who have said NO. I have had to use EPI-PEN on her when she was 3-5 but she of course doesn't remember that.

I am actually looking forward to her being gone (bad mom) just a different part of me wants her to be here. can you understand that?

Where did he head to Mary? Those school trips are great for kids, they often learn tons more than they would in the same amount of time on the same stuff :thumbsup2
I am sooo jealous that Em gets to see the Vatican, that church (forget me trying to spell it)with picture on ceiling, Venice etc etc etc.

He's just in another county. (Currently getting pelted by snow). This trip is for chorus. :confused3 It's twice a year-- Fall & Spring. The kids have to attend its part of their grades & its from Sunday to Tuesday-- again :confused3 . They get together a couple times & do activities, but most of the time its freetime. He called me about 6pm to tell me about the snow. Also mentioned that he went to bed 5:30 a.m. & had to get up 6:30 a.m. :hyper: I'm sure he's gonna crash big time tonight.

I think all of us understand that!

howdy y'all. Hope everyone is having a good start to their week. Kim and I are going to change our vacation plans. We don't know yet if we're going to be able to go to Disney anymore. We are SOOOOOOOOO getting tired of our apartment complex. We are going to concentrate on finding a house and getting moved in by the time our lease is up on our apartment in August. The latest news is that we were told we have to get rid of our satelite dish (after being told we could hook it up 4 months ago) and we're going to have to pay an early termination fee which the apartment complex isn't going to pay. Soooo you can see how upset we are. We're ready to move. So down payment money and moving van and stuff for a house come first before disney. We're gonna try to go, but not sure what we can do.

Sorry you have to move under such bad circumstances, but that's exciting that you're looking to buy a house!!! :cool1: Sure you'll be able to do Disney again--maybe not this year, but you can get a tax break on the house! :) Not to mention I'm sure you can decorate with Disney!

That smiley really makes me laugh!!! My cubs are in a thumbs up mode right now - tonight they were running around w/ their thumbs up, there mouths open, and their eyes shut, while nodding their heads....they looked VERY silly!

They are such silly bears sometimes - but luckily they mostly like to keep their clothes on. (THe littleone was into showing off a bit when he was younger - the older one was always quite modest....ofcourse, more so as he gets older.)

I was looking to see if I saw any hidden on other threads, but I don't see any! :sad1: What we gonna do? We're soooo close to 45000 too!

I've been thinking the same thing since LAST night! where the heck is everyone??????????????????????????????????????

.........but that would be painful...........suffice it to say he was the worst doc ever - I had to interrupt him to ask if I was allowed to ask a question?! (How some docs love the sound of their own voices!) Atleast he didnt think he'd need to do the REALLY big fusion - just 4 levels....thats good.
