One of the ladies I do exchanges with designed this.. I'm gonna see if she can help us do something for our meet....

Can he get a cell phone that he can IM on or actually just talk to her on th cell?

He can but it is the missing of each other. Sheesh he drives 4-5 hours each weekend to see her and some days he leaves Sat morning early and comes back Sunday night!

I did present o him about coming down with us and flying home like thurs or Friday early so he can spend the 3 day weekend with her. We will have to see. He did realize that he hadn't taken her feelings into consideration (greek family background!!:scared1:)

From the creative Disigns? they are so good. You should go down th that forum and check out soem of the stuff they have done!

I was just thinking that also.....I have the "Virgin" phone....pay-as-you-go...it is quite cheap for people who dont use the phnone much. But they aslo had packages (monthly) that offer "unlimited" use. You could use it for the trip and then just stop. (He'd prob spend 30-40 dollars for the phone and a pretty big chunk of minutes.) ...There ARE supposed to be a couple of Starbucks, or similar, not to far off from the on-site places. Maybe he could take the city bus there each night. (THe hotel discouraged us, but we ended up using the city bus a TON whenwe stayed at the Radisson - it was really easy and good!)

He has an unlimited calling plan, so no prob there. It is the not seeing each other part that I don't think he can do. :confused3 . Guess I am to old to remember that time of my life!!!

DH and I are still like that. No matter how mad we are at each other, we have to sleep in the same bed. :lmao: When we split up, before I moved to my parent's house, he slept on the couch, because it ate me up inside. Then when I was at the club, I called him to come get me because I couldn't drive (we were still broken up at the time) he came and got me, I went to sleep on the couch, and it killed him. :rotfl2: He hates if I'm away without him. :rotfl:

:confused3 Sorry ...we just can't get on very much.

Not getting you on the not getting on much. More on the line that we aren't in the FMC with our PG-13 minds and most of the NC-17 ones are charter members! I just couldn't remember if it was you or PD that was PG-13 with me. :goodvibes

Also wondering how close my naive mind was to a G rating!!

Big hugs to you guys with your Brother. It seems to come in like waves, but we lean on each other like family and get stronger with each roller!

Hope you had a good day Mary....arriving late AND leaving early..... I would be jealous EXCEPT I took the next 2 days off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :rotfl2: :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: I cornered my boss last friday and him I HAD to have a couple of days off.... he gave me that same old "boy, she's a crazy bear lokk" and said "ofcourse!" - and he had this exact look :scared:

YIPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cheer2:

Congrats on 2 days off!! Let me just ask you if you were in human form or bear form when asking for the 2 days? May have been why he had the :scared: look!

At least you picked 2 good days. Highs in the 70's!!!! Weeeee!

Ok this fool husband of mine is now gone completely MENTAL :lmao:
He is acctually thinking that he is going to be allowed to pain the rooms in this house we havent bought yet LIME GREEN. This is not acceptable gang!!
Please talk some sense into him!!!!!!!!!!
Ok maybe we can deal with little mickey heads in the paint.....but lime green......common.......HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP :rotfl:

Hmmm... how about accenting maybe a corner or small area or some such thing? And maybe we should ask him to wait until closing before he starts painting!

Don't listen to her. that's not what I said. I wouldn't actually paint a room lime green color. Actually I suggested that we have some of friends come over and paint one of the rooms to look like the sky with clouds. They painted the walls of their flower shop and it looks totally cool.

That isn't to bad. I saw pictures of one that went from sunrise on one wall across the ceiling to sunset. It was a big room though!!

And I can picture you two, Dissing on seperate computers and answering each other that way! Kinda like the lime meet in Richmond!

Let me tell you, I have HUGE plans!!! Clean out my car, clean the closets, and go buy a new dryer!!! woo hoo....
But, do hope to go for a nice walk by the river too...and , maybe, go see my dads grave for the first time...not sure about that (wish I had someone to go w/me.)

I can go with but it will have to be on the weekend. If I can stay awake that is. Or if you do go, we can get together for a bit of :laundy: . Let me know

Nick went on a field trip to Michaels today with daddy and this is what he made...

This is a very long and boring vent. Feel free to skip:goodvibes

Guess I will share part of yesterday's "wonderful" day.:sad2:

jeff was out all last week with the flu. I did real :laundy: with hubby on sunday. He has to say in front of Jeff that "he didn't want him going to school on Monday unless he was 100%". Gee thanks! Jeff thinks he knows enought to not be in school anymore at 10. And he can't read or mulitply yet.

so Monday rolls around and Jeff is in full form. Behavior issue up to my nose. He is in control but won't let go of his "chanting" So off we go. Leave school and I take him to dad. "Don't want to go there. It is boring...call Chip to watch me" Ummm.. no. Dad has talk with Jeff. Jeff goes to school with Chip on Tuesday(I was at work) like a little saint. No problems.

Go to Weds. Jeff goes off to class with no problem. I breathe a sigh of relief. All is good in my world. I help Chip take 1/2 of his "equipment" (walkers, wheelchair, crutches) to Krista's school so he can explain different handicaps ect to some little kids. I get here about noon, and the phone is off and ringing. Jeff's teacher calls. He says Jeff has been wandering around the class all morning and refusing to do anything. He has also refused to go to lunch. We also talk about how the new law that says they can't read English on SAT's to the kids anymore cause it is hard to tell how much they know. (Great another downer!) I agree cause it is a law and we are changing his IEP.

10 minutes later he is calling again. we get the start of 3 conversations of 27 seconds or less, cause Jeff keeps hanging up the phone on the teachers end (you'd think he would do something ...but ok) I try to talk to Jeff on the phone then make the big mistake of thinking I had the teacher when it was still on speaker. Said I would call his dad to come get him.

All hit the fan. They call again less than 10 minutes later. Jeff has completly gone over the hill and taken all leave of his senses. He has kicked and hit at his teacher. Got him to the VP office, and he kicks her shins & head butts her arm. Dad is nowhere to be found (had an appointment). so off I go to the school

He sees me and tries to dive under the VP's desk feet first. I win and get him caught up in a safe hjold (the teacher had it but let go to hand over to me. I ask them to leave cause I can tell he is in some control & playing to the audience. After they leave, he calms down but tells me what he is and isn't going to do. They come in, he starts up. I get his 2 day supension notice (disorderly conduct) which will really help his desire to go to class.

I pick him up (he is almost as tall as me) and get him outside, (thankfully that isn't but a few steps). His teacher comes with so I can have some help. He strats hitting at me, but gently, so I know again he is in control. I finally get him in the car when his dad calls. He is on his way. So we wait there. Jeff is calmer.

When dad gets there, he has a talk with him while I go back into the school with his sick note from the doc. I come out and we are going to move him to dad's car so I can go back to work. He says no. Dad picks him up and tosses him over his shoulder. And as a moment of laughter in this, Jeff keeps saying, "get off of me". I couldn't help but tell him dad wasn't on him, he was on dad! A brief smile.

Dad had another appointment later in the day, so Chip keeps both kids. Dad says he will call back, giving Jeff the option of what he will do. Gee, thanks again!!! Needless to say it was the same thing again. I took them to church dinner and made him sit through the teaching. He is with dad the next 2 days. Oh, what fun!!:headache:

So now you know why i am so sore and tired. Today has been a bit better, but I am so ready for a nap!
