our secret green club? Part 8

Makes ya want to have another doesn't it? I was holding him and he is so tiny.. He weighed 5lbs at birth and after his surgery he went down to 4lbs and now he is up to 6 lbs.. Still way too tiny for me... But oh wasn't it nice to snuggle with him..

And oh so nice to be able to give them back and not have those sleepness nights!

DH and I are still like that. No matter how mad we are at each other, we have to sleep in the same bed. When we split up, before I moved to my parent's house, he slept on the couch, because it ate me up inside. Then when I was at the club, I called him to come get me because I couldn't drive (we were still broken up at the time) he came and got me, I went to sleep on the couch, and it killed him. He hates if I'm away without him.

Yeah, dh and I are like that too. We sleep in the same bed if we're mad. I did stick to my guns once & made him sleep downstairs which shocked the heck out of him.

He's WAY more dependent on me though. He'll call me a million times a day just to talk to me. Years ago he was in the hospital and when I would come see him he would give me X amount of time to get home then he was calling me. He was even in his sleep calling my name-- my mom couldn't believe until she heard it. Even now he tends to follow me around places just to be with me. It doesn't bother us to go away without each other, but we don't do it that often.

Well, the two cats will have to share one room and Roxie gets one to herself.
Then our room so guests will have to sleep on the couch

They do have the choice of sharing the dog room or cat room, but only after they ask the rooms owner(s) permission!!

I didn't realize how bad we were when we were with a bunch of friends and we were talking. One of the women said to her DH I'm done, I hope you like the couch (all joking) and DH replied with, you should go stay on the couch and see how you like it. When the woman's DH said, looks like after everyone leaves I'm hitting the couch, and mine responds. It drives me crazy if she goes to sleep on the couch. She'll go out there for a few hours, and when she thinks I'm sleeping comes back in and vice versa He said that unless I'm there, he can't sleep. He can sleep if I'm out, because he knows I'll be back soon. When he had an emergency appendectomy last year, I was at the hospital most of the night laying in bed with him, because he didn't want me to go. When visiting hours were over, the nurse came in, and I was half asleep, and DH says to her, she goes, I go I was a bit shocked at that. She told him, I could stay as long as I wanted to, just for him. Then asked him how long we had been dating and that was cute. He says dating? No, we have been married for about a year now, and she says oh newlyweds. And he responds yeah with 2 kids, and been together at that time 14 years. She was shocked, and said, I hope after 14 years my DH and I could be as cute.

I should mention he was on pain meds. Because he's never like that.

Ds is thinking about joining his schools swim team next year---thats the part that's making him think & rethink about it.

When my boys did that, the wore regular trunks over their team suits. Then just took them off, dropped them on the floor, swam and put the trunks back on again. Not to much showing that way.

Guess I will share part of yesterday's "wonderful" day.

So now you know why i am so sore and tired. Today has been a bit better, but I am so ready for a nap!

Ahhhh, so sweet.

If I get mad at dh & don't want to be around him I threaten to sleep on the couch or in another room. He will literally come beg me to come back to bed cuz he can't sleep. Its nice having some power isn't it! You'd never know it though the way we fight but I guess it comes from being together so long.

The house has a nice size front and back yard, so you can always bring a tent and camp out

Just watch out for those Bayou gators & them skeeters!!

I'm torturing myself slowly , I'm over looking at the menus trying to pick other places we might want to try to eat. My peeps are super picky though-- Dh being the worst!

Poor you. Best thing to do is dine with another family and then you can spread around the unwanted food and get more of the wanted food!
