So...I haven't gone to bed yet.....in less than 4 hours my kids will be home..... hmmmm.....
anyway, I am sitting here debating whether or not I want to volunteer for Extreme Home Makeover....... they are doing a home about a mile from my house. I guess I will go tomorrow and see if they need anyone else.

I agree if you can't find anything to do just go and hold up a sign that says a shout out to your limey peeps... Bet that will get ya on tv. Even better wear all lime green from head to toe...

They sell cajun and creole mixes, like Creole jambalaya mix, Gumbo mixes, dirty rice mix, Beignet Mix, chicken fry, fish fry, hush puppy mix, seafood boil seasonings, etc.


They aren't as good as home made, but still taste pretty darn good.

So...here's a little story to amuse.....
My hubby decided to throw me for a loop the other day....he announced that he might want another baby!!!
Now we decided that our family was complete.... 8 years ago we made that FINAL decision. and now he throws that out there.....

Now...I told him he's nuts..... and that he's dreaming.
We have NOTHING left for a baby. It's all gone to family and friends.

now the amusing part.....I CAN'T stop thinking about it!!!!!!!
and my cousin is no help..... she is trying to convince me that its a good idea-Yeah THANKS April !!!

(there is a little more....but I can't post it on the boards.....especially my ACTUAL reaction to his declaration ...It was pretty colorful )

Here's another little laugh...... my job is so important...... last night, I got to walk the store perimeter, ALL night long, looking for fire. Yup.....the water pump broke, and the fire chiefs solution, have an employee walk to perimeter looking for fire. I spent 6 hours last night walking.....and I didn't lose an ounce!!!!

I felt like I should have been making the announcement
"1800 hours and alls well!!!!"

Hee hee. Same with me. No telling how many times I loop the pool while I am guarding in the morning, mainly to stay awake! And there isn't even an ounce gone. Hopefully we are tightening up some muscles somewhere cause the flab ain't moving!
