Hate to pull an Insults on you guys ("my husband just brought me a glass of wine"; "my sweet husband brought be some icecream :; "my husband misses me so I'd better go - he's the greatest!!!!!" ) ....BUT....my husband just made some heaven in a bowl!!! (No, not porridge, as I mentioned before its an urban ledgend thats bear like porridge - we dont!) Its shrimp, rice, black beans and lots of spices - yes, some OLD BAY!!!! (I said he didnt cook - but now and then...yum!!!)

So, off for me to eat, shower, and sleep!

Trust me I am.... I have my dh doing (Doctor said no stairs and washer/dryer in the basement) and my kids are still at the "poor mommy" stage and are being quite helpful....hmmmm how long will that last?

Anytime.....the wierd thing is Bear, my hubby just invited me for a glass of wine too....but no Ice cream Oh well that meens an extra glass of wine with the calories I'm saving not having desert!

there's a few tonight...

someone brought back a 4 month old thread with user names like Jesus Christ and Suri Cruise. Everyone's yelling there.

Then a 14-year-old started a thread because they were offended about the above thread. everyone's yelling there too.

Someone started a thread called "jesus saved me" and they got mad flames because everyone thinks that the thread is making fun of jesus because the OP is Jewish...so they were yelling there..but they've calmed to a rational, healthly converstation.

Then there's a thread about how a school is taking off all the doors in the bathrooms to help deter bomb threats written on walls. WHAT?

that's the last 20 minutes or so...

Two of my brother's & 1 nephew are southpaws. My oldest brother had trouble with everyone trying to make him right handed --poor guy-- course now he's ambidexdrous.

I read all of them. The Suri and Jesus one I was laughing at, the Jesus saved me one I ignored, and the bathroom one was just insane.

About a month ago I was attacked on a thread. Get aload of this.....A man left his baby in a car all day and it died! They said he had enuf pain and shouldnt be charged!

????????????? I stated that it was the fault of the mom & dad neither called the day care provider durint the day to check in on the baby. Also I thought that it was weird that the DC provider never called either parent to find out where the baby is. (there are way more details)

Anyhow where I work many people with kids in day care, call at least once a day, and some can even check on the web.

Well I had MORE parents yelling at me for saying they were bad parents for not ever calling their Daycare provider! WHEW! it was nasty. I never called anyone a bad parent!

1) didnt think it was 'that bad" to leave a baby in a car all day
2) so many people drop their kids off at DC & NEVER check in with them...EVER!

They may be evil, but they are oh so funny. I take it all in stride, and never seriously. I have yet to be flamed, but I am sure it will happen and when it does I will have my lime green flame retardant jump suit zipped up to my neck!!

most of the time I just post & run. I don't really check back on the board unless its a topic I like or possibly a game.

Jeeeeeeeeeeez, people are strange. how do you forget your kid? my mom calls my sisters babysitter twice everyday. once, to make sure she gets on the bus, the other, to make sure she got off the bus and that she has everything (my sister has a great knack for 'forgetting' her bookbag )

i don't get people sometimes...
