i don't get people sometimes...
I gotta check out the bathroom one!TaraLee4 said:i thought the Suri and Jesus one was funny too...then i had to leave because people took it downhill too fast...and the bathroom one...i don't even know what to say about that!

About a month ago I was attacked on a thread. Get aload of this.....A man left his baby in a car all day and it died! They said he had enuf pain and shouldnt be charged!
????????????? I stated that it was the fault of the mom & dad neither called the day care provider durint the day to check in on the baby. Also I thought that it was weird that the DC provider never called either parent to find out where the baby is. (there are way more details)
Anyhow where I work many people with kids in day care, call at least once a day, and some can even check on the web.
Well I had MORE parents yelling at me for saying they were bad parents for not ever calling their Daycare provider! WHEW! it was nasty. I never called anyone a bad parent!
I was really suprised by the amount of people who
1) didnt think it was 'that bad" to leave a baby in a car all day
2) so many people drop their kids off at DC & NEVER check in with them...EVER!
Very sureal, but NNNNNNNNNNNASTY!

We had a similar situation here in NJ where a mother left her baby in the car all day thinking she had dropped the baby at the sitter's house, she decided to take the baby home with her because it was sleeping, when she arrived at home she got out of the car forgetting she never dropped the baby off. Went about her daily business at home, and later realized about the baby a little too late. No charges what so ever were brought against her. Not even a slap on the wrist. She was an Orthodox Jew, and the entire community rallied around her.
If it was an ordinary person without an entire community of support, their kids would be snatched from them quicker than you could blink your eyes. And people would be demanding charges be brought. Maybe not murder charges, but neglect or something.
Do I think it was an accident, yes, but it was also negligent at the same time. Negligence has its consequences too! I could never forget my children, but some people can be very absent minded.
