I'm not sure if anyone here watches the George Lopez show, but he's much funnier when he's doing stand up than that show (some of it hits really close to home).
Well, he has this one bit where the dad is telling his daughter just how great the wedding reception can be if they do it in the backyard. He tells her "right here on the hood of the chevy we can put the buffet, and then we can put sheets on the clothes lines so we don't see the neighbors dogs".

My Dh and I married 3 yrs ago on Oct 26. We have already started thinking of when to renew our vows. Maybe on our 10 yr anniversary. We will be in Great Britain then. Intimate and sweet

Kim and I have only been married a little over 4 years now. I've got a couple on my route that told me the other day they had been married for 58 years.

My prayers that all goes well are with you. If she is definitely BP don't let them prescribe any anti depressants for her that are contradictory to BP. They can cause worse manic states even psychotic ones.

Aww spoken from only someone who knows this! Many "tried & true don't worry" Pills were given to me when I was in the depths of despair since most of my days are well below the level of norm. ZOOM sky high within a week

I think I need to get my meds adjusted this week. I have been having some bad days the last 3 weeks and they seem to be getting worse I see the Dr on thursday so hopefully we can get the dosage adjusted properly this time.

Terrible way to feel isn't it? Hard to describe to doc never mind my family! I finally get to see doc again tomorrow and I am panicy --- I know my meds need to be adjusted but not sure what he will do?

Hold tight! It is a stupid balancing act that never seems to end does it?

You've got that right. The worst part is I am actually having to take something because Dh and I are hoping to get pregnant soon that won't cause any serious side effects so it isn't exactly what I need. It helps some but could have adverse reactions to my manic periods at any time. The one I would be taking if I weren't trying to get pg is more suited for BP

Oh dear that is a hard one to deal with isn't it? I can say that I have experience with that ... I was on anti-depressants while preggers with Em cause she caught us by surprise (Ben took a long time coming so we figured she would as well) It was agreed by all involved that I needed to stay on them since I was dealing with a toddler and being preggers. Just fiddled around to find the lowest dosage that would work.

SBM- I am sorry to hear about your DD.. Hopefully everything will go well for you today.

SBD and Donald- I hope your Doc's appointments go well.... Changing medicine doses don't always go well(I have witnessed that alot with my family)
