We're a little backwards actually. Call the moral police...but we were together for 4 years before we had DS, and then I wanted to wait until I graduated college before I got married, but SURPRISE along came DD just as I graduated 8 months pregnant and finals does NOT work. Not to mention I was the lonely hold out on getting married, didn't want to do it, and came up with every excuse imaginable, until I ran out of them. It takes a long time for me to run out of excuses, didn't think that day would come :teeth:

You and I are a bit unique I think...from what I hear its usually the guy whos holding out..But, I was pretty nervous too.... like 4 years after he was ready nervous!

Nite!

You should've used "you couldn't possibly marry a man with kids!" That would've worked. Next would've been "its against your religion", but I'm just thinking he would've probably known that one was a lie! :sad2:

Been there, and those were my exact thoughts too  But by the time the wedding came, my dress was taken in 4 whole dress sizes. I did good on that weight loss goal, only to gain about half of it back after the wedding :teeth:

It always scares me when I have to get sized for formal wear, I actually dread it.

Yeah, I'm really hoping to never have to be in anyones wedding ever again! Especially my own!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: Those were the end excuses, that is so funny that you even say that :lmao: As you can see they really didn't work, I was grasping at straws with those excuses.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: Ok I hold you responsible for the mess I made, while spitting stuff all over my monitor :lmao: :rotfl:

I think we might wait one more year. We've been together 14 years, going on 15 but only married 2 go figure :confused3 There is no significance to the years, because they all mold together anyway. We are planning Vegas for this year's anni, and thought about renewing then, but I think I need to loose some junk in the trunk to fit into my dress again! So I'll give myself a year!

My good friend had the big church wedding. For their 10th wedding anniversary, they went to Vegas and renewed their vows with a Tom Jones impersonator. She came down the aisle to "Sex Bomb".

Thanks to all for your good wishes!

I came back to be with my PEEPS and they all left me! :(

Isn't that story the funniest, I keep reading it & rereading it. I love it everytime he says he screams & runs away. Run like the wind fat man.... :rotfl2:

But OMG, I would have died on the spot!!

Our new motto should be "Don't be late for Target!!!" after all that's where we find all the lime bargins. :rotfl:

HEY I'm here :cool1: I hadda wait till Without a Trace was over (I needed mindless tv for a bit) I love when I read posts and see green dots!

Oh yea, you've been together as long as me & my dh--we'll be 17 togethet, 16 married--forget that renewing the vows stuff. You're in deep enough! ;)

Huhm .. ok we've been together since 1981 what is that? 25 years right. Got married when I was 22 & john was 23. (b-days are 1 year & 1 day apart so for 1 day a year we are the same age :rotfl2: )

Ben came along when I was 24 & John was 25.
Along came Em when I was 27 & John was 28 -- calendar year though mean it was only 25 months apart.

SO together for 25 years and on Nov 10 married for 22 years

Hey Everyone, Just got back home. I had to go help unload a semi. We got a bunch of new items for our trucks.

**Warning for those on diets DO NOT CONTINUE READING** :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Strawberry Cheesecake IceCream Pie
Magnificent 7 Chocolate Cake
and a bunch of othe stuff

Can't wait to try em all. I'm gonna be HUGE by Christmas :lmao:
