I'm a little slow, this is over a year old, but have any of you read this yet? I just came across this the other day & its the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Man did I need that laugh!

That is a hilarious story - thanks for posting the link! :rotfl:

Mary, we all hope things go well tomorrow and you and your family get the help they need.

Take good care.
Va.

Thanks to all for your good wishes!

I came back to be with my PEEPS and they all left me! :(

Isn't that story the funniest, I keep reading it & rereading it. I love it everytime he says he screams & runs away. Run like the wind fat man.... :rotfl2:

But OMG, I would have died on the spot!!

Our new motto should be "Don't be late for Target!!!" after all that's where we find all the lime bargins. :rotfl:

Ok, Ive been on too long, gotta to go lots to do. Hope to get on again tonight.

I thank you all for your support over the last couple of days, you have no idea how much it means to us. :goodvibes :grouphug: Tomorrow is a really big day for us & we need all of your thoughts and prayers & certainly pixie dust.

I can't go into detail, but I will share this with you. It has come to our attention that our dd1 may be bipolar and we are hoping to be able to get her the treatment that she needs. I just wish it was that simple.

Thanks again, lovely limey thoughts to all! Have a good day at work, school, or play!

hugs and love to you and your family!

No new gossip. So what's going on with your wedding? Maybe you should just get married & go there for the honeymoon. Alot easier & cheaper! Just a thought! :goodvibes

yeah, we've thought about that. however having a wedding (an intimate one, 18 people) in disney will be a TON cheaper than having both of our extended families together for a wedding.

my mom has 7 siblings, my father 3, his each have 4. they all have at least 2 kids. (notice i said at least...the number varies from 2-6)

we're over 100 people...for family. we're running away and if they can't come to florida..OH FREAKING WELL.

how strange is that? something in disney is cheaper than the 'real world'

and i have every intention of throwing a huge hick-style-backyard-BBQ party after we get back.

so his 'city smart' family can meet my family from the boonies! it will be such a weird experience for them!

haha! that last post makes me crack up, even though i wrote it. my family the first time they met steve said right off the rip:

"we're loud and we embarrass ourselves a lot. but you're here and your going to be sucked in and embarrassed too. we're not really sorry about it either."

his face was priceless and i laughed my butt off!

I wish I would have known that before my wedding. I always liked the idea of a Disney wedding, but figured it would be way out of our price range! Boy was I wrong. I could have gotten married there and had a nice reception, and then had it blessed in the church. Would have taken care of all the headaches surrounding my wedding.

i freaked out when i started looking at things around here and prices. the zeros started multplying really fast, and just because i had started to get over my sticker shock i looked at the disney wedding site (more for like a joke) and i was blown away! unless you want to get married in front of the castle with 175 people staying at the GF at sunset on a saturday night in june...it's not too bad on the wedding price scale.

Oh that is soooo funny. Hmmm, maybe you should run to Vegas first, get married by the King then run to da mutherland. That might be cheaper! ;)

i'd ask him what he thinks of that...but he's sleeping. snoring too. :sad2:

he's happy that we can actually go to vegas next year because i'll be 21 and i refuse to go if i can't gamble...i won't be able to go anywhere!!

My wedding was inexpensive considering what I had, but I had the sticker shock as well. I feel like slapping myself for not doing it down there. We honeymooned there, it would have been nothing to get married there, and I probably wouldn't have had my drunken photographer arrested. :teeth:

I looked there after the fact, because of what happened at my wedding, we want to renew our vows eventually. Even though we are only coming up on our 2 year anni, we feel we were cheated out of 'our day' I know selfish, but can't help that one! So that is what brought on the search...only if I knew then what I know now.

I didn't want a big wedding I just wanted to get married in the courthouse--no fuss. BUT NOOOO, his mom & my mom wanted us to have a church wedding. Then my mom was trying to pull a get married at church with a party at their house later with records on the record player. (Did you all hear me?!?! Records on the record player!!! in 1990 where they still making records then?!?!?!). Cheapskate, her mom threw her reception in a hall--well we had ours in the same one afterall. :rotfl2:

This same hall my dh fell down the steps not even 2 hrs after we were married! (SIGH) Thought I was a widow-- wasn't even sure if all the insurance kicked in yet-- would've probably had to hock the gifts. ;) :rotfl2:
