:wave2: Happy Friday. Anyone out there gotta fork lift? Time for what Ben calls "the weekend of gluttony" :lmao: Thanksgiving Weekend for us. Good cause you get an extra day on Monday, but like some of us dealing with all that family is just toooooo much :scared1:
John has given me a hall pass so I don't haffa go to his parent's place tomorrow  BUT can't get outta my family since Nana is turning 85. Down we head to Toronto :car: to help with a gathering @ her church from 3 - 5 serving cake and coffee to peeps I don't know (very very hard for me to be with lots of folks I don't know) THEN off to a restaurant that, well, she likes ... that is HOW it should be since it is her birthday :bday: but i doubt my kids will. TOUGH suck it up it is only 1 meal right?

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!!! I knew it was close but not sure when it was. And yeah bring on the food!! My thoughts & prayers will go with you as you face a crowd. Just put your mind somewhere else & plant a smile. It will all go away soon! Maybe be planning your trip or put yourself in the World?

Blessing on you and eat something yummy for me. Give Nana a big squeeze and remember it is for her. Hmmm... Maybe kitchen duty to keep away from the crowds some?

And on the personal side, are you the only one in your family with BP? sorry can't remember. :confused3

It has been about 10 years or so since I took them but I can tell you that if you are good at standardized tests you should be able to do fairly well on it. I didn't study for mine and made high scores on everything but math which I suck at anyway.

A lot of people put way to much stress on themselves about taking the SAT's. I didn't take them in HS like you will be, but took them after I got into a 2 year college. Either way, I walked in, took the test (which I stink at doing) got my results, and lets just say that Princeton came a lookin'.

One big thing to remember when taking any standardized tests is that being overly stressed and over worked tends to give people temporary Alzheimer's when taking the test. A little stress is healthy, but an over abundance is not!

Good Luck to you, I am sure you will do fine!!

Yuppers ours is the 2nd Monday in October cause well it is tied to harvest right? If we wait till the end of November -- gross yuggy moldy stuff on the ground :crazy2:

In our family of 4 yes I am only one -- but if others weren't hanging over me I can tell other things. Dad is also Bi-Polar but refuses to get real treatment. Mom I'm sure is (based on her behaviour but don't suggest it to her).

Me, I am the worst of the bunch BUT the best cause I admit it and INSIST on getting treatment. Which is why I am not doing well right now. still no dr and it has been since early August. (I was seeing her every 2 weeks)
