How exciting - sending son off to college - big day!!! Is he living in a dorm? I cant imagine sending my boys off. Are you gonna cry I'm pretty sure I wll - even though I try to act tough!

Yes, he'll be in the dorm, and this morning before the kids got up, I was lying on the couch crying. Now they're up, it's stiff upper lip time.
I just talked to DH, and he agreed that 1/1-1/7 in O.C. is OK with him. I don't know if my kids will come, but DH and I are the party animals, anyway.

Me too!!! Are you still planning on coming to the Aquarium? When's a good time to meet, have to check with Kathy. Gotta to let me know so I can plan it around kids sports and Brandon's work schedule so he can come too.

We have, LOVE, use Old Bay - but, BIG but, we use it in moderation!!! This is a word I believe the people in Yourland are not familiar with, at least in regards to Old Bay!!! When DH and I lived there and would buy a bushel of crabs for dinner we'd actually have to give the sweet babies a BATH before we could eat them!!! So, I guess anyone from MD would think all other seafood was bland - since your taste buds are so accustomed to LARGE quantities of the stuff - could you find a travel sized shaker to travel with??!!!

Hmmmmmmmm......yum.....blue crabs!!!!

I like food seasoned with it, but I wipe it off it I get too much before I eat. (never wash it off though ). Dh enjoys eating big hunks of it off the crabs--too much salt for me. Want to taste something really good next time you make hamburgers sprinkle some Old Bay on them while they're cooking--yummy! I will definitly have to add that to my travel list, I guess I'll have to find something that matches my purse to carry it in!

What the heck is Crab Boil?!?!- sounds painful. Old Bay is a seasoning that is used on seafood such as when steaming crabs or shrimp! Very yummy. I think its found only on the Eastcoast--- apparently mostly used in Maryland. I think Utz snacks are another product found only on the Eastcoast.

We (kids too) went to my 20th class reunion yesterday. Turned out to be lots of fun! Afterwards we went home & then took dd1 to her school dance dh & I were going to chaperone but they had enough so we went to the bar to meet up with my former classmates. Even had "Sex on the Beach" (my fav drink for the members of the FMC-- Filthy Minded Club!) Lots of fun, a couple of my friends went & got tatoos.

Left the bar & went back to dd1's school to see how it was going & to help clean up. Surprisingly she was..........slow dancing with a........... BOY!?!?!!? Where did my baby go?!?!?! She said 3 boys asked her to dance, and 1 boy asked her 2-3 times!

Hi everyone,

5 days left. I'm starting to feel like there's not enough time but so glad that there isn't.

More stuff piled up and ready to get clothes out today.

I found some blank mickey mouse cards today and I'm going to have one of my nieces write a note in them tonight for the boys.

Bought a new pair of faux crocs. These ones are light blue and teal with swirls of pink and lime green. Totally changes my wardrobe selections for the world now.

I was also looking for some small little pack jackets but couldn't find any.

Hi everyone! Picked up my dozen LGMH's at Home Depot this evening in preparation for my December trip. Ran into a friend of mine in the paint department and had to confess what I was doing
