This was just announced today because they uncovered a terrorists plot over in England that was going to be directed toward the US.

Well, I guess I'm glad we went when we did! We also decided it probably wasn't worth the saved money to fly out of LAX instead of our local airport. LAX is the #1 terrorist risk US airport, isn't it? We didn't like that. The drive home was 2 hours longer than it should have been, too, with midday commuter traffic. That sucked. I would have paid someone the difference in the ticket prices just to be teleported home off the 605 fwy. Ugh.

Hi, Anc96! Glad to see you caught up. There are about 3000 posts I never have and never will get to. I'm just happy to have stayed up with the last 20-30 pages or so! P.S. Loved the lime green boogie board that DISUNC passed on!

LOL.. I can't even remember if it was LG.. was it? I guess being a Limey I just have LG things jump at me!
My dd wanted a boogie board for Cocoa Beach so I got whatever Winne Dixie had. I figured DU woulda thought I was nuts leaving it for him with the Entertainment book.. but, it couldn't go on the plane so I figured what the heck. She could only use it at the resort after the lifeguards went off duty.. they didn't allow them or anything else in the pools.

Oh.. and just so you know.. I'm not caught up from my vacation...
That's a very funny thought! I did skim a little bit.. but no way could catch up with about 200 pages! (I estimated about 10 pages a day, though I see now it's closer to about 15-20!!)
The catching up I did this morning was simply because I was out all day yesterday, and when I got home, watched a movie with DD until we fell asleep. That cause me to be behind about 20 pages!

But I'm here now and will do my Limey best to keep up.. until I go back to work at the end of the month....

Two weeks tomorrow.

Now I will have to replan my packing, I wonder what can I bring on the plane???? Tough call as a tip I read was to bring what you need for the first few hours until your luggage arrives, so we are going to the parks but since we can't bring our sunscreen as carry on I guess I'll have to splurge and buy the $20 bottle in the hotel store.

I understand the risk but wow, enjoy your vacation in security at the airport.

Oh well, we will get there

I love my baggallini so much I've been using it daily..lol. I have to get a more conservative color though.. the teal is a bit bright for everyday use!

Sure you can use it! I still has a few extra LGMHPCs in a zip pocket inside just in case the one on the front fell off (which it often did).


Side note: I am on page 692. I'm responding to "old" posts. I'm not even sure how many pages there are since I can only see the next 10 pages on the page counter thingie. Yes, I could click ahead and look..but that would just be too depressing!
Just pretend I'm on Pluto and there's some time lag involved.

So...are you shipping to me, to my resort or should I just PM you? And you aren't to far behind. If you look at the left side of the page counter, it tells you what page you are on out of how many pages. like 703 out of 712! For me I strive to catch up and then sit htere wondering why no one has posted anything else. Then I work a bit, check back and there are 2-3 pages to read through!

Congrats! Do me a favor, please. At Epcot, go into Club Cool (the one inside the building with the character meet and great) and drink four or five cups of the Vegita Beta. Club Cool is the place with free samples of Coke products from around the world, and Vegita Beta is the Japanese drink. It's so good, it's free, and it's a great treat on a hot day.
Have a great time, and use your sunscreen and a hat.

I carried on my toiletries bag that had every imaginable kind of health and beauty product in it - hairspray, two kinds of shampoo and conditioner (in plain travel bottles), four mini toothpastes, body spray, lotion, on and on, and though I did get plucked out so they could do a closer search because of my tweezers, they didn't confiscate anything. This at LAX. I think it depends on what you're carrying, what airport it is, and what TSA agent is doing the inspection.

I think it's because of what just happened in the UK. I carried on insect repellant and sunscreen, but I doubt I could do that today.

Okay, after reading so many posts on this thread I've decided to turn to the limegreen side . I even went to Home Depot during lunch to pick up Alien Green Mickey Heads. I knew there was something to this when I arrived at the paint section. They had a completely separate stack of just Alien Green Mickey Head paint cards. No, I didn't take the whole stack. What kind of person do you think I am .

I'm also curious. Do limey's have meets at Home Depots? I swear I saw group of 5-6 people hanging around that Mickey Paint section mumbling about limegreen caps at the Dollar Tree and what other color crocs they own.

Now I'm wondering: 1.) Does this say something about my lack of a social life? 2.) Is wanting to be part of a group of people fixated on a color a bad thing? 3.) Is it better to just not think about 1 & 2 and just follow the limegreen masses off the bridge?

Anyways, I'm Mean, I'm Green, and I'm not going to take it anymore. Whoa, that was weird .

to the ! Wow you must have an active HD for Alien Green to have its own display. Yes, we do expect you to take all of the lgmhs because you are that kind of person now-- you have succombed to the lime. Hmmm, no DIS meets planned at the HDs as far as I know, but one of the DISers is gonna contact the PEEP company about making Lime Peeps for Easter & they'll be a meet & greet at the display-- so get your tags ready.
