This thread is the one that inspired me to join the DIS Boards!

In the past several months I have read several threads on the boards because I am planning a family vacation (leaving in 6 days!). Then, I found this thread.

To read this thread caused me pain -a pain in my side when I laughed! Which wasn't very nice considering DD has the chicken pox and we are getting very little sleep. However, it was very worth my time.

9 days. I'm . I'm there w/ both DisUnc and Cynderella, as well as a few people from other threads. If anyone's going in August, there's a thread with a page where everyone's listed by the date of their trip (if you subscribe to the thread).

dwheatl, in case I don't get another chance before you go, I want to wish you a magical time! I hope we run into each other somewhere. We get into Orlando approx. 3:30 pm Aug 1st - afternoon we're going AK and then Boma

for dinner at 8:30. Looks like MK in the morning and Epcot at night on the 2nd, MK in the morning, GF (for the wonderland tea party) in the afternoon, and MGM (Sci Fi ADR at 8:30 p.m.) on the 3rd (the overloaded birthday day, oy), then Epcot morn and eve on the 4th. After that, we're kinda winging it (and I believe you will also be headed home). If you're going to be in any of those vicinities, look for us! I will have my LGMHPC on my Baggallini and will perhaps be wearing my lime green hat or clothing, too! Gonna also tag my DD and DH with LGMHPC (DS probably won't do it). I'll also have the laptop and be connecting about every other day, so it's possible to PM me if you need to (though when I'll see it is another story ).

Otherwise, see you when we all return from the motherland!

Please, could everyone send my family and me some ? Nothing big, just this: we are changing planes in Dallas and have just 45 minutes. Normally, I wouldn't worry, but if you recall, a month ago my daughter and I were flying to CT and were stranded in Chicago overnight. I think I'd go if I lost a day of WDW vacation. Gosh, I miss those direct cross-country flights.

Right now we're at that eat whatever's in the fridge stage, so we don't leave a lot of food to spoil. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with spaghetti sauce (pretty good actually), salad and ice cream for dinner. It will get progressively weirder in the next 2 days. My stinker kids insisted on going out to dinner at the mall, which bugs me when we're leaving in 2 days, but it's so blasted hot, I paid for them to go because I pity them in this heat. Also, my 2 teens were almost as cranky as the babies at church this morning because of the heat, so I wasn't too sad to see them go off to the mall. I hope they cowboy up at WDW. At least they're old enough to go off on their own some this trip.

I so much did not want a connecting flight that I agreed to fly out of LAX rather than ONT just to get a non-stop. There will be other inconveniences and annoyances at LAX, though, to make up for the convenience and relative security of the non-stop flight (and god knows what else could happen). So to you. Hopefully, all will go smoothly.

We are eating whatever's in the fridge now, too (though DH just shopped two days ago). My kids don't like it any more than yours. Pouts and frowns all around. TOO BAD, KIDDOS! We will eat real food when we get to WDW.

lime green hot pink and Silver. (that's not really silver, but that's the best i could do)

no, but when you walk out of the bedroom, the bathroom is right across the hall and the computer is at the end of the hall, so he could see me.

my bathroom's not even big enough for what's in it, let alone a computer!
