Have you seen the Disney Weddings TV special?
One of the brides is named Tara Lee, and for the longest time, I thought you were her! (Or is it You were she?) Anyways...ITA...DH and I planned our wedding here in town thinking a lot more people were going to show up than did. In hindsight, I wish we would have just thrown our caution to the wind and had a destination wedding. *sigh* I figure that's fine, we'll just have a vow renewal at WDW at some point, and I have plenty of time to plan and save up money!

FWIW, I still subscribe to Martha Stewart weddings, and occassionally pick up a bridal magazine...for ideas for the vow renewal, ya know....

Have you actually been in contact with WDW's weddings department yet?

Oh I can just hear this conversation now. You want a lime green cake?!?!!? ....And a lime green what?!?!?!? What do you mean "do we have a lime green........"

nope, it's not me. wish it was though.

oh, and i've got Martha magazines...and every other bridal magazine. it amazes me at what people will pay.

i figured, hey, if they wanna come, it'll be lots of fun. besides, the people that i REALLY want there, are slightly obligated to show up (ie..my mom and dad, lol)

haven't called them yet, but i have been searching around on their website. gotta call and find out how much the deposit is for my day. that's a number i'm not sure i want to see.

Tara, just some words of advice. Don't stress yourself out too much for a fairytale day--- remember its the Happily Ever After part that really matters!!!

Well, I don't know how interesting this is to everyone else, but I am 1/2 way through my first experience directing the Kids Theater Camp at our community theater, and I'm very impressed with the talent we have in our little town here! Saturday I got all our costumes together, and today I finished all the certificates and our program. This has been a lot more work than I thought it would be, but it has been a lot of fun too!!! I'm so proud of my kids!!!

Thanks! We are doing a show called "Fairy Tale Courtroom", and the performance will be on Saturday the 29th. The Wicked Witch is on trial for all the things she has done and the audience (who is the jury) has to decide if she is guilty or innocent. I have to admit, I chose that show because it has Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and the Magic Mirror in it! My Disney obsession comes into play in EVERY aspect of my life!!!!

Sounds good, but will there be any lime green in it?!?!?!?!

How scary . When I was 17 I had Bell's Pausey. I noticed my face stopped moving on one side. I thought I had had a stroke. I remember my mom called the pediatrician at home (it was a Sunday night). He knew right away what it was. I was so scared. I remember my dad was so scared & upset that he was hugging me & crying. It took me about 6 weeks to get over it. Got it again in 2000, that time it took me about 6 mos to get over it. Not fun.

Glad your son has recovered from his stroke.

Thanks. That kid has gone through so much in his short life with all the breaks and then that too. sometimes I wonder what call G*D has on his life! I know constan pain is no fun when your 23.

Good to see people back on the boards! It was quiet for a while tonight. I'm working on some papers that I have to get out tomorrow, but keep checking back to see what's new. I'm having trouble with the Smilies tonight. Is anyone else having a problem?

This thread is the one that inspired me to join the DIS Boards!

In the past several months I have read several threads on the boards because I am planning a family vacation (leaving in 6 days!). Then, I found this thread.

To read this thread caused me pain -a pain in my side when I laughed! Which wasn't very nice considering DD has the chicken pox and we are getting very little sleep. However, it was very worth my time.

Thanks for all the laughs and stifled giggles!
