HI KATT! nice to be online when someone else is. Usually i am here during the day poking around till John gets home, then i check once more before i head to bed. This is my true addiction to the point that my neck hurts from leaning into monitor (really need to get better glasses)

Yup I'm here... should get back to cleaning my bathroom but I'm not in the mood .. I usually have my DIS window open and my Facebook page open during the day

We must be alike then, cause i was cleaning my bathroom every time I went past -- little by little. Now it is DONE (till someone uses it and splashes water everywhere)

I open DIS several times during the day but it upsets our daughter that I am already searching for things regarding our trip in DECEMBER so i limit to times when I know she won't be around. FACEBOOK, now that is a different story: I never shut it off -- gotta keep in touch with my peeps (including my kids & hubby lol)

I'm hoping we can get in with the Candlelight Processional package cause that is more than 90 days out .... shouldn't be a problem i figure. According to he dining boards the deal started on June 23rd so i waiting!

Oh and by the floor show do you mean when they sing the anthem?? I know it was kewl the last time we went cause we could sing along!!
I never thought of trying to book it as a CP Package...I'll bet that's why I can never get in.
Hey I made a posting on another thread (oh I know how dare I?) and noticed after i posted it (drum roll please) I am down to SIX and a HALF months now. It was 7.5 when we booked the air flight so time REALLY IS marching on, just when i thought it was at a complete stand still.

On a side note, our dollar is on the rise which means it won't cost as much to go! Every day that it's over a certain amount John buys another $50.00. Makes it so exciting to see the US account filling up since it will be our spending money :cool1:
:cool1::cool1:
oops Sorry about making you hungry.. but it WAS LUNCH TIME.. :teeth:
::yes:: That's what I am talking about... and it is neat.
That's ok..I was actually already ready for lunch, then I just wanted "real" food for lunch instead of a sandwich.

Sounds like me..one window for work, one for FB and one for the DIS.

ok all packed and ready to go.. i will see you all next week with stories and pics.

My whole life is like a day behind. I missed yesterday's posts, and I'm just now watching AI's finale. I was waiting for my reply screen to come up, so I got up to dance with Carlos Santana. Now I'm winded.
Welcome to southern speak. I am glad you caught some of it!

And I still can't believe you were less then 45 minutes away from me and I didn't know it! Blah!
That's before we knew we were friends. It was 6 years ago. We used BG as the bribe to get our kids to go to the Smithsonian and Mt Vernon. They were pretty poorly behaved that trip, but I still wanted to do BG. I enjoyed everything except the food poisoning we got at a CS place with a million flies, and the drunks who stole Brian's wheelchair while we were on a ride.

SONIC'S HAPPY HOUR ROCKS.... Just have to remember to bring my own :laundy: next time.. My mango slushie was missing something :rolleyes1
Grey Goose, perhaps?

I have my reading SOL today.
Which means that today will be an easy day since I always do awesome in reading.
My older cub had his reading sol today too!
What the heck is an SOL?

We have pver a month of school left here!
A month!!!:scared1: Dang, when do they get out?? Our last day is June 12th.
Also, the chicken strip sandwich on the $1 menu is yummy, and I LOVE the chicken club. Gotta try strawberry limeade, though, its the best.

PD, tomorrow is the last day of school for my girls, but they start back Aug 18...
Yummo - sounds really good. Ive nver been to a Sonic.

Yep...I already know what I want...the "Le Cellier Experience"..Cheddar Beer Soup, Prime Rib and Chocolate "Moose" . I didn't know they had a "floor show" I do want to try and go early, so that's cool. From what I've seen on the dining boards though, peeps are having a hard time getting an ADR there at all. i'm hungry now too...thanks alot...
We liked it - but I think maybe we'd heard too much hype and expected too much.....we werent all that impressed. But, you gotta try atleast once!:thumbsup2

Cool - great that you can save up like that!:thumbsup2

That's right! I'd like to do a VA area peep meet in the next year or two. I know that's a long time, but as my mother says, life is long, God willing.
Of course, if anyone wants to come out here sooner, that'd be great.

Hi Danielle!
Hi PD. I thought I sent you a hello about an hour ago.

ok all packed and ready to go.. i will see you all next week with stories and pics.
Have fun!!!
SOLs were so easy!
I finished in 15 minutes! So easy!
I'm watching Glee, it's so funny!
Yay!!! Way to go!!!

Ok...I was going to call then something I can't say on the DIS. This will suffice....

Yeah...I never expect world class cuisine from a Disney meal, but I want one meal that is not a rushed CS or a character meal...We love character meals, but I am so busy taking pictures, helping the kids at the buffet and getting autograph books ready that I end up taking about 3 bites the whole meal.

Night Peeps...It's 2 am and me and my whooping cough are going to bed.
Hopefully I can sleep now. If not I might be doing some :laundy: to help me sleep, but I have a LONG day at work tomorrow, so I can't.

I had my chorus concert last night. I can't remember whether I told you that it was yesterday or not.:confused3
It was actually pretty fun.
They have an eighth grade solo where one person sings an entire solo with ANY song of their choice.:cool2:
I got the eighth grade solo, but as I didn't want to do it myself, she let me make a big huge thing that she made as the last performance. :teeth: We ended up singing Don't Stop Believing and managed to make it sound a lot like the version from Glee but not exactly like it. So, that was actually fun. My crazy chorus teacher loved it and gushed about it as she burst into tears. Shocker.

this is one foolish duck here. Spending so much time online already that my neck is about ready to fall off. I can't believe that i did this to myself voluntarily. I will need to rest it all weekend which means no puter time :scared1:

Oh well can't leave without one last smilie for my limey peeps

hope you have a good one!

Quick Drive-By Here

Been a busy morning/afternoon. Car needed an Oil Change and it's yearly inspection.. "whew" I nearly let that get away from me.. New van( well got it in October).. and I am used to inspections in November. Sarabeth had her awards Ceremony at her school for "Reflections". I do not know why I get the County and District .. and State Awards.. BEFORE her School ones. But it's always the Last thing they do.

As soon as Joshua gets home we are heading out to catch "Night at the Museum".. Then it will finally slow down.

:yay:3 weeks till Vacation... I am SOOO READY. !! What are y'alls Plans for the weekend ??

Congrats to Sarabeth on her awards!!!
Enjoy the Movie!

No big plans here...we can't go anywhere till Sunday anyway.
I would LOVE to just sit in the sun and read a book for an hour or two.:cloud9: We'll see if that actually happens.

:rolleyes1 :laughing:Just kidding.. I did just change it today. I scaled down a print from our "Disney T-shirts" thought it might work.. and it did :teeth:

Ok... Scott went to walk Sarabeth through a Howl-O Scream maze and Joshua wanted to ride Apollo's Chariot. Well I had not ridden it yet. I love coasters.. not usually the Steel ones.. I'm a Wooden Gal. My first Coaster was The Beast at Kings Island In Cincinnati. So I agree to ride with him. But as I stared up at this thing.. ( that he has ridden many times before) I remarked.. "MAN.. THIS THING IS KINDA TALL":scared: Non the less.. we get on and start the climb.Midway up I seem to recall having this deep intense need to get closer to GOD.. so I began to pray Jesus, Jesus, Jesus... That was ALL THAT WOULD COME OUT !! At the top. I noticed the NEAR Vertical drop .. Instead of facing my fear.. I closed my eyes like a Chicken. NOTHING can Prepare you for riding that coaster at night.. with your eyes closed.
I am catching air.. and all the time my eyes are closed... Did I mention I do not like Steel Coasters... ??? It's that whole feeling like I am going to FLY OFF that skinny little rail.

About the time I THOUGHT the ride should have been over I opened my eyes.. at the top of the last Hill before you tilt sideways and down.. and I know I saw an Angel:angel: floating there.. I do not think it was Jesus.. reguardless... :wave:he waved... but would NOT GET ON :scared:

I said "Good Night" and rode in the dark till that thing stopped and Joshua gave me the "All Clear"" I had Survived... So me and God have this understanding... He spared me... I do not get back on...:thumbsup2 Deal !!

I was going to make that very comment.. till my Comments went "POOF" :headache: Something along the lines of "Charit" or when we get really lazy.. "Chet" :teeth:

Oh and BTW... Don't be so Sure on this whole age thing ... I MIGHT still have you. :rolleyes1

I'm a "woodie" also!! To me, steels are boring as they have you buttoned in so tight. Alpenghist was slow to me, in the middle and one off the front! Haven't been to Busch in a while, so didn't ride Appollo's chariat yet. But arms up, backwards, forwards and being clutched by a kid! Oh and the backend off the seat in the last car as you tear down the first hill. :woohoo:

ANd here, I am the "old lady" as most of these kids are in their 30's to mid 40s. One or 2 are close though. I think I had 4 years on someone, but since I can't remember who 'xactly, won't mention names!

most of these kids are in their 30's to mid 40s.

:worship::worship: it's been years since I've been callrd a "Kid":hug:

I'm a wooden coaster girl too! unfortunately, I can't do a lot of the ones I used to love so much....they rattle me around too much.

That reminds me of a time I went to King's Dominion with my church youth group in HS. It was a yucky day and not very crowdwd. There was no one on the pirate ship, so my friend Rob, who also happened to be the Pastor's son insisted we get on. I am terrified of heights and had a bad experience on a pirate ship that goes upside down once. He promised me it didn't go upside down, so I got on. (Remember...it was a yucky day, and there was no one there...we didn't wait in line, just got right on, so it's not like I could see the ride go first.) Well, he lied..it DID go upside down, and just HUNG THERE, UPSIDE DOWN FOR AN ETERNITY. So here I am, on a church group, calling the pastor's son every word in the book! It's funny now, but I really thought I was gonna fall out.:scared1:

Oh, the Brezerker!! Great ride to watch EVERYONE'S stuff fall out as they hang upside down. And it isn't THAT long a hang!!! Ihear they get a great collection of hats, sunglasses & money. So, when they say to take everything off and put it away safely, you now know what they mean!!

Yep...still trying to convince the Fam that they want to try Le Cellier. Maybe I should get the ADR and THEN convince them...Knowing my luck I'll get them all psyched for it, and then won't be able to get in.

It is a great place. Got my confirms for it already!! And early too. all my August ones came through already, which is real neat. Now the Sept. ones... :rolleyes1

We get out June 15 here, but the last 3 days are half days.

So do we!! Get out on the 15th, but we don't go back until the Tuesday after Labor Day. You must have some long vacation weeks in your school calendar!
OK...so it DOES also mean what I thought in a way...LOL Yes, it does! Our SOL's start the first week of June. Bleah!!
Thanks!

You all get out early...we are out June 15, and back on Aug. 19.

Sonic is a good place to eat, if you can get the drive thru personal awake & moving to answer at the one closest to us.
