Back from the denist and :woohoo::woohoo::banana::banana: Joshua did it !! He got nervous.. we all do... ;) But it was when he began to GROWL That I began to worry:scared:.

But it's over and we will be trying a new approach to his dental hygiene so HOPEFULLY:) I won't have to go here for a LONG TIME... if ever
Yeah!!!! Glad it went well!:thumbsup2:cool1::goodvibes

We have done it before, but wasn't going to do it this trip...With Chris being 9, 4 chicken nuggets at a CS place just don't cut it, that plus his allergies, we are better going ala carte for him instead od doing the kids CS combo meals that are on the Dining plan. BUT since it is FREE we are thrilled..it will save us a ton of $$, and we can easily buy Chris an extra order of fries or popcorn for a snack if he needs it.
Yea, free food, isnt it dreamy?!:cloud9:

I have my reading SOL today.
Which means that today will be an easy day since I always do awesome in reading.

hey guys wanted to say good morning. cya all late :goodvibes

What the heck is an SOL?

SOL... stands for "Standards of Learning" But really means something else...:rolleyes1;) IYKWIM.. The Virginia kids take them every year beginning with 3rd grade... But they tests vary and they always GO BACK to see what you remember in subjects like Science and Math.

Also... IF you DO NOT PASS your SOL's you LOSE your "elective" and have to take remediation... so no Choir/ band.. etc if you do not pass.

Yay PM:banana::banana:

Just kidding.. I did just change it today. I scaled down a print from our "Disney T-shirts" thought it might work.. and it did :teeth:

Ok... Scott went to walk Sarabeth through a Howl-O Scream maze and Joshua wanted to ride Apollo's Chariot. Well I had not ridden it yet. I love coasters.. not usually the Steel ones.. I'm a Wooden Gal. My first Coaster was The Beast at Kings Island In Cincinnati. So I agree to ride with him. But as I stared up at this thing.. ( that he has ridden many times before) I remarked.. "MAN.. THIS THING IS KINDA TALL":scared: Non the less.. we get on and start the climb.Midway up I seem to recall having this deep intense need to get closer to GOD.. so I began to pray Jesus, Jesus, Jesus... That was ALL THAT WOULD COME OUT !! At the top. I noticed the NEAR Vertical drop .. Instead of facing my fear.. I closed my eyes like a Chicken. NOTHING can Prepare you for riding that coaster at night.. with your eyes closed.
I am catching air.. and all the time my eyes are closed... Did I mention I do not like Steel Coasters... ??? It's that whole feeling like I am going to FLY OFF that skinny little rail.

About the time I THOUGHT the ride should have been over I opened my eyes.. at the top of the last Hill before you tilt sideways and down.. and I know I saw an Angel:angel: floating there.. I do not think it was Jesus.. reguardless... :wave:he waved... but would NOT GET ON :scared:

I said "Good Night" and rode in the dark till that thing stopped and Joshua gave me the "All Clear"" I had Survived... So me and God have this understanding... He spared me... I do not get back on...:thumbsup2 Deal !!

Oh and BTW... Don't be so Sure on this whole age thing ... I MIGHT still have you. :rolleyes1
I would have pp'd my shorts! I like roller coasters, but I don't know if I could of handled that. :rotfl2:You are a good mom!

SONIC'S HAPPY HOUR ROCKS.... Just have to remember to bring my own :laundy: next time.. My mango slushie was missing something
:thumbsup2:laundy:

It's the upside down that got me! :scared1::scared1::scared1:
Yeah...you should have been there!:rotfl::rotfl:

We just got a sonic here about a week or two ago. I haven't tried it yet, though the girls really want to go! Maybe this weekend.

Go between 2 and 4 and the drinks are 1/2 off... So worth it.. I get the chicken wrap.. Its pretty good..

Also, the chicken strip sandwich on the $1 menu is yummy, and I LOVE the chicken club. Gotta try strawberry limeade, though, its the best.

PD, tomorrow is the last day of school for my girls, but they start back Aug 18...

Love my kids... It's a different way of riding for sure... Ya never quite KNOW FOR SURE... when you are gonna plunge to your death :lmao: Unless you have ridden it so many times you know it by heart like me and the right side line of Space Mountain. .. :sad1:I'm gonna miss that ride in August ::sad:

That reminds me of a time I went to King's Dominion with my church youth group in HS. It was a yucky day and not very crowdwd. There was no one on the pirate ship, so my friend Rob, who also happened to be the Pastor's son insisted we get on. I am terrified of heights and had a bad experience on a pirate ship that goes upside down once. He promised me it didn't go upside down, so I got on. (Remember...it was a yucky day, and there was no one there...we didn't wait in line, just got right on, so it's not like I could see the ride go first.) Well, he lied..it DID go upside down, and just HUNG THERE, UPSIDE DOWN FOR AN ETERNITY. So here I am, on a church group, calling the pastor's son every word in the book! It's funny now, but I really thought I was gonna fall out.:scared1:

Oh Katt, I can relate! I however generally am not a coaster chick. I do love Everest though so I decided I would be brave and try R&R with my sister, neice and daughter. They laugh if you just mention R&R now. Appenently I also pray when terrified. I believe they say I utted the phrase "sweet jesus" or something to that effect over and over again.
:rotfl:
Yea, free food, isnt it dreamy?!:cloud9:
Yep...still trying to convince the Fam that they want to try Le Cellier. Maybe I should get the ADR and THEN convince them...Knowing my luck I'll get them all psyched for it, and then won't be able to get in.
I have my reading SOL today.

Good Luck!!

I would have probably been there.:rotfl: THAT WAS MISERABLE :scared: not Scary... just M I S E R A B L E !!

Yep...I already know what I want...the "Le Cellier Experience"..Cheddar Beer Soup, Prime Rib and Chocolate "Moose" . I didn't know they had a "floor show" I do want to try and go early, so that's cool. From what I've seen on the dining boards though, peeps are having a hard time getting an ADR there at all. i'm hungry now too...thanks alot...:laughing:

I'm hoping we can get in with the Candlelight Processional package cause that is more than 90 days out .... shouldn't be a problem i figure. According to he dining boards the deal started on June 23rd so i waiting!

Oh and by the floor show do you mean when they sing the anthem?? I know it was kewl the last time we went cause we could sing along!!

Hey I made a posting on another thread (oh I know how dare I?) and noticed after i posted it (drum roll please) I am down to SIX and a HALF months now. It was 7.5 when we booked the air flight so time REALLY IS marching on, just when i thought it was at a complete stand still.

On a side note, our dollar is on the rise which means it won't cost as much to go! Every day that it's over a certain amount John buys another $50.00. Makes it so exciting to see the US account filling up since it will be our spending money :cool1:

::yes:: That's what I am talking about... and it is neat.

HI KATT! nice to be online when someone else is. Usually i am here during the day poking around till John gets home, then i check once more before i head to bed. This is my true addiction to the point that my neck hurts from leaning into monitor (really need to get better glasses)
