pooh_crew_welcome.gif

Now it hasn't been mentioned yet i don't think but a certain Limey has a "butt photo album" that must be remembered when you are out taking pictures since she loves to add to it LOL

Hum what else dunno right now brain is on sleep-deprived mode. Been up since 4 with sore back and shoulders. Can't even use the laptop today cause i need to wear my back brace but it does give me that advantage of all my bookmarks here so i can follow my various DIS threads

I hear you. My son has Autism.. and the older he gets, the less he is with the rest of the kids. He has been held back twice as he will be in school till he is 21 most likely. Sara has a HARD time with all of this, and add to that mean girls... sometimes the thought goes through my head to say to Adults when their kids are mean to mine, or teachers are RUDE... "Hey.... Lay off.. I have no problem going back to Prison".. Just to see the reaction:rolleyes1 But then The Police and Social workers would come... so common sense wins again:headache:

Darn common sense keeps getting in the way!!

And for the exciting news, I got to book my resturants early than 90 days. Or at least some of them. Don't know why, but very happy.

Lets see, we have:

Whispering Canyon Café Sunday, August 23, 2009 Time: 6:20 PM We're going to give this one more try. We had an "incident" last time, but the food is good.

The Crystal Palace : Monday, August 24, 2009 Time: 6:05 PM Fam fav.

Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Thursday, August 27, 2009Time: 8:25 AM This is Krista's choice, she really enjoyed it last time. This time the "boys" are going too.

Le Cellier Steakhouse Saturday, August 29, 2009

Still have Chef Mickey's, Trails end, Garden Grill to get. I think that is it, but who knows! Gotta check the lists!:headache::yay:
:cool1::cool1: Good luck with getting the rest!!!
She got a memory book at "graduation" where everyone wrote something about each one, and several said that she is kind even when others are mean to her, etc. She thought it was so nice that they said that, I just thought that if they think that, WHY were they mean in the first place... know what I mean?
:grouphug:
I hope Middle School will be a little better for her!
Kat, I thought they changed it to 180 days?? At least I am sure that we were able to make our adr's at 180 days from our first day...
It was 180 days the last time I went, back in Dec. of 07, but it's back to 90 Days now (90+10) I'm hoping the online system is up by the time I can make mine... then I can call and be online at the same time and hopefully get Le Cellier and Chef Mickey's. I'm afraid that since we only have 4 days, everything will be gobbled up by people with longer trips who could book earlier.
Yeah, right! It involves food.... <sigh> Wee're stuck. That is why we are at the Suites this time, so we can let him be him and not have to be in the same room!

Can you tell how thrilled the kids and I are?!
:headache:

You can take me off the middle schooler list. In exactly 103 days I am an official high schooler.
:cool1::cool1:YAY!!! Congrats!
I was just listening to the Tim McGraw version of that song earlier!:thumbsup2
:sad1: and we'll be done with middle school in a month. TInk goes to the HS next year, so I'll have one college kid and 2 HS kids.....amazing being as young as I am!:confused3
:grouphug:
I have 2 in college. They've had their issues, but are doing well these days. DH has his "stuff", but he's so darn good-looking, I keep hanging around.

I had some great news today. I had to go in for my biannual evaluation with my principal, and it was really good. When it was over, I went to do some laminating, and when I got back to the classroom, my partner told me that my principal had called looking for me, and needed to talk to me again, right away. When I went to her office, she said she had forgotten to tell me that she was moving me to the five year evaluation schedule, if it was alright with me. I said that it was fine. Then I walked out the door, and if I could do a cartwheel, I would have done one right there. I hate being evaluated. Now, I'll just have to go through it only two or three more times before I retire. Yippee!
YAY!!!:cool1:
lol u are correct. well now im off. Cya pplz :goodvibes
Have a great day!!
I am staying home again today. Shocker.

So exciting hearing about all the upcoming trips, soon (PD and TotBoy!!!) and pretty darn soon (Jacquline!!!) :woohoo::yay: I'm getting more and more envious too - gotta start planning that girls 2010 trip so I have something to look forward to! Do we have dates yet????

:goodvibes
Happy Thursday!!!
I think we were looking at Nov. for Food & Wine. October could work too, but I think there were a couple peeps who said Nov. worked better.

I have one who finished college and is living about 2 hours away -- also had trouble with school work but a cheerful happy kid. Our youngest had to drop out of school due to severe depression and is finally (get this gang) GETTING BETTER! My hubby has his stuff that i deal with -- he is just too darn blessed HAPPY all the time lol

Now that news about your evaluations is wonderful -- deserves a celebration if you ask me :cool1:

Jacqueline, that's great news that Emily is starting to do better!:grouphug:

Big day for my Kids today...Chris has Fun Fair at school and Martina is on a Field trip. Just work as usual for me! I wish I had a field trip!!

Morning, all! Jacqueline, hope your back feels better and you can get some rest today!

I'm on when everyone else is! This thrills me greatly.

Can't...:sad1: Kids start school the 24th and Joshua will need those two days of "DOWN TIME" before he heads back WOW! Come on over to the east side...we don't start until 9/8. Course we get out in mid-June...

That's a Full Load Momma

The "Memories"
book happened to Sara last year. Girls that WERE her friend at the beginning of the year... Were "Dissing" her but Still asked to sign her book.. afterward we found out it was kind of a Competition.. who would sign the most or ALL Books.
Imsoscreamingmad.gif
THAT IS NOT HAPPENING THIS YEAR. :mad] It can be a load. Some times my main goal is to sleep. Course the kids have "other" ideas! And yeah, that happened to me in my yearbook in middle school. And then someone stole the one I was writing in and I had to give her mine with all that trash and bad stuff in it.

Thanks for sharing your story... You carry a HUGE load too
hugs.gif

:rolleyes1 I hadn't yet...

But you are the Winner...
i'm 46

See, told ya!! :lmao:

Took some looking but here is one!

cartwheel.jpg

So I looked in mine, and I don't have "cartwheel" though it may be under another name! so neat That i have them alphabetically listed, but they have changed photobucket some, so all the name I had for titles aren't there anymore!

Oh, wait, I did find one!
cartwheel.gif

Not as cute as Duckies, but it moves!
:rotfl:

I am right there with you, Kat. Meag and Krista have so many of the same issues. Plus we keep having issues with meds, etc. it is such a pain sometimes, poor kid.

I know. Trying to get Krista in to see Jeff's Psych doc. The ped has her on Strattara at night for anixety and metadata in the morning for the ADD. I'm thinking two adhd meds aren't good together, even though both are "used up" before she takes the other. Still some in the system, though.

All we can do is keep pressing forward! And jump through all the hoops the school system wants us too!

Just back from the orthopedist with Saint Winnie, the perpetually injured. Her lower leg started giving her problems in APril during track. She kept pushing through the pain because she so missed sports between her broken wrist and torn meniscus. Well Dh and I were at a meet in the beginning of May and she came out of a race in tears, so we said no more, that is too much pain. After a series of MRI's and xrays turns out it is a stress fracture. SO it is a relief but limits what she can do. Walking is fine so we will be ok for WDW, but no running and no waterpark. We had planned to take a run around POR every morning if she was better, but Dr. said 6 more weeks, then we have a follow appointment and she will probably start PT after that.....next week we go to another orthopedist in the group to check up on her wrist! I think they should send us Christmas gifts. We've seen 4 orthopedists in the group over the past year....and their PT for the meniscus therapy!

Duckie and I have huge smiley files. Mine got so big, I ended up putting them alphabetically. Mainly cause I maxed out 3 albums and then couldn't find anything! Now that photobucket has changed, my titles don't show, so it can become interesting.

I am sure we will both stea....ummm borrow yours!

Poor Winnie. Chip feels for her. And yeah, since you paid them so handsomely and are a recurring visitor, they should send gifts or at least a card on her birthday!!:rotfl:

Are you saying you will be able to book restaurants online?? I hadnt heard about that - would be TOO cool!!! (IM so NOT aphone person...bleh.)

I've never done Food&Wine - that would be really cool! (I seem to be in a 'cool' mood today.)

OK - NOT cool - so sorry Winnie is having naother problem. At least, as you said, it sounds pretty fixable and the trip wont be too disrupted. She'll have to sit on the veranda with a lemonade and watch as you guys go for a run.:cutie:

New sig. Like? Hate?
I Love it! Do you have any of Cinderella's castle against a starry sky? That would be really cool!

 for Winnie! I know how much she loves her sports. i'm sure it will be tough to actually relax on vacation and not go for a run every morning. It's great that he OK'd her for the walking in WDW though!

Yes...There is a thread or 2 about it over on the Dining board. Apparently right now it is only available for travel agents, and does have some issues, but it's only been up since Mid-May it seems. It sounds like the plan is to get the glitches worked out and then open it to the general public.

I've never done food and wine either, but would love to, esp. with an adults only trip. It would be so cool to walk around WS trying all the different things. (and with a group of us it will be even more fun b/c we can all get something different and share, so we get to try even more.)
