Well, considering I am not married (or even old enough to legally be married), I cannot share any crazy husband stories. BUT, feel proud that y'all are prepping me for when I actually do have a husband.

Mostly TV but he does go to games..

I think my DH would sympathize with you. I have every possible thing for scrapbooking and card making. I do make my own Christmas cards and birthday cards, but scrapbooking....Well I have lots of great ideas and tons of materials and no time to sit down and make the books. The scrapbooking and cardmaking materials have taken over my dining room. There is definitely quite an investment in that stuff. I'm sure it drives Dh crazy, but he usually doesn't complain...just rolls his eyes and sighs alot!

PD thats me too with the scrapbooking... That is one of the main reason's i'm so excited about em going to a full day of kindergarden in the fall so I can have ME time..

Ok most of you guys know my son Nick but for you newbies a quick info! He is 6 and has been diagnosed with pdd-nos... (aka high functioning autism) well he has his regular routine.. Now he has taken it upon himself to sign MY name to his folder. I went to sign it the other day and looked down and he had already signed it for me.. He even got my T right.. I make it weird.. I pointed it out to his teacher and she was dying she said she even looked that it was signed and seen the T and oked it I told her I wanted to keep the paper so I can have his first forged signature of mine framed.

O.K... let me explain before y'all think I am More nuts than I am. Since I am NEW there is TONS you do not know about us.

which drives me He goes twice a year to "Meets" in York, PA.. and has spent $$$$$$ on his Hobby.
I won't tell you the amount... (But you can make guesses if you want ) But we needed to get "Collectibles Insurance" on them JUST IN CASE I go Ballistic.. or accidentally leave the door open and they are stolen.

Now I am Kidding about being angry at any of you calling a group effort a "train".. ( ie... hugging train, Sympathy train, etc... ) O.K ??


So Ladies... Do any of you have something your Hubby does that drives you Batty ?? Or am I alone here ??

Well, he spends a lot on fish tanks, fish ponds, etc. - but I those and he will porbably turn that into a small business when he retires from the Feds, so no problem there. He is messy..... Does that count

I have a beta named Mowgli. Mo, because he has a mohawk and gli because he's so gleeful and Mowgli because it's a DISNEY name!

guess I'm alone here We used to have Saltwater fish, seahorses.. etc... Messy but it was neat. Fish ponds would be O.K too. Our house is not big enough for the "collection" he has. But it's the Slipping trains into the house and even lying about it that got me first riled up.

But when a single engine costs 300-1800 a piece I have a problem with that. Especially when I don't spend money like that ... Unless I'm on Vacation in WDW..And all of us get to enjoy the vacation .One set that he bought( that stayed broken and he finally sold it for HALF what he paid for it) cost 3000.00

You know, it's better when guys go to the games because then you can have your TV to yourself!

AND HOW MUCH?!?!

My hubby's "problem"? he refuses to spend money on anything for himself -- but insists on buying things for ME! Ok not a true reason to get upset with him but it makes me feel guilty. Everytime i turn around he wants to buy me something else -- nothing expensive (we just don't have the cash) but clothes, cheap date nights, get the idea? since i don't work i get upset cause i can't buy him ANYTHING!

I had recital last night, but only one number to perform in, tap production (Step In Time). So I hung out with my two little kid combo classes and there's this sweet girl named Abbey who had ringlets and this other girl who incessantly gave me hugs and I don't even know her name and another girl named Genevieve who is totally out of it.
I slept in today because we have another recital tomorrow night, where I have to perform in a lot more numbers, so no little kids for me
But the best part is.....



It's a DISNEY recital! Our shirts are pretty spiff!

Hubbies hobby is TV & food. and wearing the fabric off a couch!

And I also want to know what me time is! I take the time to read, but it is in weird places (grocery line, stop lights, between swim classes). Don't have time or money for my hobbies, which are crocheting and taking pictures. Can't afford to develop them, and yes I still use a 35mm and film! Do have a digitalk, but hard to get the ones I like developed or even burned to disk (yeah T, I am still trying)

I want to see the Star Trek movie and we do have food & french fries in the Cinema Cafe here. Cheap movies, high price food, but good too!

Oh, and for the Virginia Limeys' there is a thread out ther for us Virginians. Allie and I found it, but wanted to let you others know!

Trust me, you don't tell me to break a leg... STORYTIME!!
OK, so last year I had a performance and we were messing around backstage. The manager of the show came through and said "Break a leg!" Jokingly I said, "Yeah, I'm really gonna break a..." And I stepped back and my ankle twisted under me. I danced on it because that show meant everything to me, but I broke own of the bones that goes from your foot to your knee (I can't remember if it was the fibula or the tibia, though).
So yeah, nobody ever says break a leg to me anymore.
Now we say merde.
