our recent deluxe dining experience sharing credits

Just spent 2 weeks at Disney,1st week was at give kids the world village 2nd on disney propert.here is how we used the deluxe dining changes to save money.I booked the room with myself and my 2 youngest kids age 9 got deluxe dining.When we got to resort i added 17 year old daughter to reservation because it was added at check in I did not have to purchase dining for her.We had no trouble anywhere using the credits for the four of us even tho my magic band would say 1 adult 2 kids.
we ate at trex,rainforest,hoop dee doo,1900 park fare,tusker house,crystal palace,be our guest,sci fi.50's prime time,garden grill and akershus.By sharing the credits we did 2 table services a day and still had a few left over at the end which we used at hotel food court.

Were your 9 year olds able to order from the adult menu if they wished?

she ordered from the adult menu at trex that was the only one she wanted to my 17 year old ordered an adult portion of kids meals at sci-fi and be our guest

We will be there for 10 days in August on the DxDDP and it would be nice for my 7 and 9 year old to be able to stray from chicken nuggets, pizza and carrots sticks sometimes.
