Why: To celebrate my birthday and to plan our DFTW

ADRs: will be made on June 23! But here's what we're thinking:

Monday: Biergarten dinner
Tuesday (my bday): early ADR at Chef Mickey's then to MK
Wednesday: Sci-fi dinner
Thursday: something in AK (any suggestions?)
Friday: Teppan Edo or Tutto

We are planning on going to MNSSHP on Tuesday but have never been. Can we purchase our tix the day of or do we need to purchase them in advance?:confused3

Ok, so according to the 'non-official' Sept. hours that were posted yesterday I have some rearranging to do. I'm still waiting for the official hours and am quite flexible for my ADRs. The only one I REALLY want is Chef Mickey's for my bday!

So we arrive on Monday, I'm thinking we go to Epcot for the afternoon/evening. Hopefully have dinner at the Biergarten. We went last year and had so much fun, it was a must for this trip!

Tuesday, my Bday, I really want an early breakfast ADR at Chef Mickey's! I'm nervous I won't get it. I will persistantly call back everyday hoping someone cancels if I don't. Is CM the only character breakfast with Mickey in attendence? I was pretty sure but now am having doubts. :confused3 After that we will be heading to the MK all day and attending MNSSHP in the evening! This is our first time at an MK party. Are costumes required:confused:

Wednesday, I'm thinking DHS with a lunch or dinner at Sci-fi. Last time we went to Prime time and had a great time but wanted to try something different this time around!

Thursday is our planning session at Franck's (next to the wedding pavilion). This is at 9am and will probably go into the afternoon, so we will most likely end up back at Epcot for the evening. Maybe Teppan Edo or Tutto?

Friday is going to be our Animal Kingdom day. Not sure of TS restaurants in AK, any suggestions? After AK we might go to DTD for some shopping

Saturday is time to go home:sad2: Our flight will be in the evening so we'll do something in the morning, what I don't know!

Yay for starting your PTR and for your upcomming wedding. You plans sound good so far.

Comming from a Disney bride, you planning session can take a few hours. Be prepared with questions and speak up if you want something different then what they are presenting. Especially if you are doing a food tasting so don't plan on too much that day. Where are you getting married and your reception? Who is your planner?

Suggestions for AK, I have never eaten at a TS place other than the Rain forest but we love the Yak & Yeti CS meals located outside of the restaurant. Its huge portions for a CS meal.

Thanks for the tips for the planning session Malibelle! I have a PJ (the link is in my siggy). We're getting married at the WP with a reception at the California Grill. We've never eaten there but heard it's amazing and don't have anything to worry about. I've also heard alot about the Yak & Yeti. What type of food do they serve there? maybe we will just do that at AK and go to a resort for a TS... hmmm.

OH, great places to get married. I miss my wedding. I want to do it again!

Yak & Yeti is asian inspired food. Like I said we never did the sit down , just the take out but we got eggrolls, fried rice..etc. It was really good for a CS.

We will be arriving the day after you leave.

Animal Kingdom (the park)

According to this site, characters generally include "Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy"

Chef Mickey's is fun...I believe you get Mickey, Goofy, Chip, and Dale.
I've done Donald's breakfast before and LOVED it. Of course, I'm a big Donald fan. Basically trading off the Ducks for the Chipmunks.

Thanks so much for the info! It definitely gives me options. Mickey's my man... or i maybe i meant mouse! :goodvibes

One more in case you need a 3rd option.

'Ohana breakfast. (at the Polynesian Resort)

Generally, this one features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.

Ohana is really good. Thats my favorite character breakfast.

Neither DF or I have been to Ohana's before. I had no idea there are characters there until Crocko posted that! I know I'm such a bad trip planner, I always go to the same restaurants! This time we are trying to branch out a little! :goodvibes
