I just got caught up on the past two updates. Whew, I've gotta meet me some Captain Jack next summer! The picture with Luke is too funny! Too bad he got so shy but the picture came out so funny because of it. And that parade looks amazing! I love the pirates and princesses so that would be right up my alley. ray has a potty mouth at times. sometimes i have to remind him he's at disney world. although he did have to remind me of that the night that little boy decided to put his light saber in front of my camera during wishes!

Thank you for sharing the parade with me. I'm not sure I would ever get down there to see it. Tell Ray that pooper scoopers are people too and they just want some of the "waving love" that the Princesses do. Love Tinderbell. I want to be Tinkerbell? She's just too cute and you're right about NEVER seeing her unless she's flying over your head.

oh, yeah. we're going! we've already bought tickets to the 12/14 party.

It is an up and coming city. It is unheard of for air conditioning, we have a lot of window units, but there will definately be heat! (But if it is a renovated warehouse into condos...I am sure there probably will be a/c) I can do some research for ya...
She might miss the warmth of the south, and hate the snow of the winter...but she might like it for its beauty!

I'm not sure if this was the parae that we only got the chance to see the top of as they were passing by (behind a huge crowd), but whatever it is it looks like it was great! You guys look like you had an amazng time.

I laughed when you guys had the glow things becuase my DH had an obsession with glowing stuff on our trip. He called them his flashydooda's and would light up his head, backpack, anything he could find to light up. It was hillarious I also found it adorable because it was his first time in Disney andhe was just acting like a big five year old.

Keep the updates coming. I'm really enjoying reading aboutyour trip. So exciting that you get to go again soon. I just got back and already want to return. I could live there and never get bored.

I will say this summer we probably only used our central air about 4 nights. It goes down at least in to 60's where I am of course during those nights where it was above 75, I told DH put the AC on please.

good to know! they got an apartment with central air so hopefully it will all work out.

It looks like the tongue piercing thing hurts Will he always have a hole there? I guess your ears never close up but I had heard the tongue heels itself. Maybe Anna can rent him out for parties

ray had his tongue pierced in '98 and he still has the hole. although he never sticks anything through it! i think he took the piercing out in 2001 maybe. i told him he was crazy when he wanted it but he was insistant and he went by himself and did it - didn't even tell me! i was working at a law firm at the time and he came by my office after he'd had it done. i was on the phone and he came up behind me and tapped my shoulder, i turn around and see his bloody tongue with a piercing in it sticking in my face!

Love the parade pictures and videos. I always cry when i watch any Disney parade video, so of course I did with this one. I love Tink too. She was so cute in the beginning when she was pouting. She looked really tiny on the video, was she? I have so many times I want to go down to WDW now I just added Halloween.

glad i could bring tears of joy! yeah, she was tiny, but just a petite adult. it wasn't a kid or anything. i want to go during halloween too! if the weather's good a week from this friday erica and i may go to MNSSHP while we're there!

thanks! my favorite viewing spot for ANY MK parade is in frontierland or liberty square just because it's not as crowded.

hey, guys! i had a great visit home this weekend - thanks for the good thoughts! the return trip home today was kinda tedious because of rain. well, not really the rain but the fact that people drive like morons in it! i do have bad news: this morning i woke up to realize that i had left my sunroof open and it rained in nashville last night......and my camera was sitting in my passenger side seat. i dried it off as quick as i could and it was working fine this morning, but when i turned it on when i got home to upload my pics it wouldn't work. luckily the pictures i took were fine on my memory card. but the camera is still not responding. ray says it's still wet inside and he has it sitting on top of the TV right now to warm it up and dry it out. if it doesn't work, then i guess i'm buying a new camera before we leave next week.

i was going to try to do an update today but i can't take video of the fireworks because my camera's not working. hopefully that problem will be solved within a couple of days.

anyway, thought i'd post an updated countdown picture. the quality's not that great because it was taken with my phone, but i love that the mickey heads are getting fewer and fewer!

i also had to share this with you guys. my cousin's boyfriend works at a printing place and they had an order for a disney mural, so he made a copy of it for me. it's HUGE, but it's REALLY pretty. the colors are really bright and the details are really crisp. i wish my camera was working so you could see the detail - this was taken with my phone. i'm going to get a frame for it and hang it in my office!

and of course i'm gonna share pics of the trip! you know me.

i took these the next day. they are of my BFF's little boy, maddox. he's almost 2 years old and is SO CUTE!

we went to see the house they're buying and he was exploring the ample cabinet space!
