holy cow......if you just saw that michael phelps race you are probably as blown away as i am! that was unbelievable. i didn't think there was any way he could win and he did......by .01 seconds!
WDW could be a great place to make a baby!

If you're not doing a TR, you can do a baby thread like Dan (AKA FauntleroyFan) did! You know we will want to be in on the nursery planning, baby shower, pics of the baby....
I love all the fun pics you guys do!
We are planning to do WCC on our next trip - I have been worried about the craziness, but I just have to check it out!
I can't wait to see what you and Winkers were up to!

i guess i'll have to start a thread over on the community board if i ever do get pregnant so everyone can follow along. we didn't see much craziness at WCC but i think that's because we went during lunch and it was pretty quiet that day. i've heard dinner is pretty crazy though!
Babies? Babies is plural, you know. And you said you're only going for one, which could mean you secretly know this will bring twins - a perfect little angel girl and a charming little firecracker of a boy - one for each of you to hold a hand as you're walking through the park toward the castle. Picture it - each of them with their little Mickey ears....aaahhh, yeah! Now that is living!
um.........no. i can tell you with complete confidence that i have absolutely no desire to have twins!

if it happens, i'll be okay. but i'm by no means wishing for it. no way! so that pretty little picture you have in your head.....take that and replace the kid that ray's walking hand-in-hand with and replace it with an empty stroller!

and i say babies because otherwise if i say "a child" or "a baby" then i have to explain to 10,000 people why i don't want to have more than one. most people don't get that so i don't try to explain it.
I predict you'll be wrapping the little one/ones up, leaving the hospital, and heading for a Magic Kingdom bus stop!!!
i wish!!!! believe me, if it was up to me, i'd be there as soon as i felt up to it. ray will say things like "we probably don't need to go back until he/she is like 4." what??????????? are you crazy?????? i'm going as often as possible while they're free!!!!

plus it's just so cute to see their reactions to the characters when they're so little.
Too bad you're not coming to Nashville this weekend. We're having a big Michaelsulley party tomorrow!
bummer!!!!! i missed it by one week. i'm coming up there next weekend to say bye to my sister who is moving to connecticut at the end of the month.
Nastia was the 6ths better than Shawn on the uneven bars that's where the difference came for sure
They both are just so great though...just got done watching them on the Today show they are SO cute!!!
I did boo hoo
i balled when she started crying right before they announced her as the olympic champion! did you see when they showed bella carolli (no idea how to spell his name!) when he was watching her floor routine? he was hilarious!
At least the vaults were set at the right hights and other crazy things didn't happen like last time (or it could have been the time before last

) I just remember it was nuts!
seriously! i remember that too, but i can't remember if it was 2000 or 2004.
This is exactly what I want if I have kiddos....boy and girl twins
you WANT twins? are you high, clarie? (<---- shout out to my favorite movie of all time, "steel magnolias"!)
The only family I sat for were twins and I LOVED them!! A friend of mine just had twins too and they are SO precious!
i just can't imagine having to do DOUBLE of everything....changing, feeding, burping, bathing, potty training, etc., etc., etc.
Ok - I have a lot to say on this post because I have been away (Aug 10th-14th) so I'm catching up on my TR's.
First of all, glad to hear the boys are doing well. Also tell Anna I know exactly how she feels about her baby going to preschool, my third and last child will be starting in a couple of weeks and I can feel the water works coming already. It doesn't get any easier either, then they graduate preschool - you cry, they go to kindergarten - you cry. I have been crying for years now

.
she's getting used to it now and he's doing okay. he had to sit in time out for hitting but other than that and a little crying in the morning, it's going well. we went over to their house for dinner tonight and he sang me a song he learned at school about 5 little monkeys sitting in a tree and a crocodile and burping. pretty informative!
Love your pictures with Hook and Mr Smee, too cute. Hmmmmmmmmm, I think I'll wear a tink shirt when we go next time and see what he does

Hook is my DS9 favorite guy too.
he's just so much fun!
Oh and you're not a dork because I take pictures with those statues too. This one was actually in MGM (yes it was MGM when this was taken, many moons ago).
where is this statue? i've seen it in pics before but i've never seen it when i'm there. i probably walked right by it and didn't notice! great picture, by the way!
I absolutely love those Jim Shore figurines. I looked on his website and there is a Mickey pumpkin one I want so bad for my fireplace.
i can't wait to see which ones they have in 3 weeks b/c i'm getting another one!
I love that show and so does my DD2, it's her "baby show". I agree too that they have a real relationship as well but sometimes she can be a little rough. But I think that's just her. I think she's very organized but she has to be with 8 kids. I have only 3 and I envy her for her organizational skills. Aiden is my favorite, who's yours?
aiden is my favorite, too!!!! i love when he gets up into the camera. DO YOU SEE ME??????? he's so cute! i also love alexis and hannah. i love it when alexis says, "hannah pooped in hannah's undawhares." just precious!!! i think she's a little harsh but it's nothing i would call abusive. jon says things to her too that kind of strike me as a little harsh but she's just more vocal than he is.
Oh another thing I love the Olympics too. I was kinda sad because we were away and I missed alot because there was only one TV in the room but I did see some swimming. Go Michael Phelps.
we always get SO into the olympics. ray especially loves it since he was here for the 1996 olympics and got to go to several events. he saw michael johnson win a race that year. he also went to a baseball game and some rowing events. he has a suitcase FULL of memorabilia from those games. i was still living in nashville at the time, but i came down one weekend and we were gonna try to get tickets to something while i was here, but that was the weekend of the bombing and so they shut everything down that weekend. figures!

(by the way, see what i said above about phelps!)
wow return from a business trip and find some great updates, thanks for all the great reads...it was very good and great pics.
not going in 2009 hey me neither, we are going to take a couple of week long trips to other places, but at least my TR from december will go pretty far into 2009 so that will keep me busy.
then i get to go for 2 weeks in 2010 so that is going to get me through it.
htose figurines are awesome...do they seem to have the same ones year after year, or do they change them alot....just asking because i was going to start letting candi get them, and wanted to know if you would have to buy the whole set at once, or could get them year after year.
maybe if i have a trip planned in 2010 i'll be able to keep my sanity in 2009!

i can't complain though - i've gotten to go 3 times this year and most people can't say that. i'm very lucky and very grateful!
this is the first year i've bought them so i don't know if they change or not. he has a website though - just google jim shore and i'm sure you can find it easily. that way you can look to see what's available.
Ohhh, we love Jon & Kate plus 8 too!!!!!!! My dd-11 has been calling me at work this summer and teasing me that she is watching the show and I'm at work! Not fair I tell her! hehehe
She is alittle uptight with the dirty clothes thing but I can't really talk cuz I don't have 8 kids! I can't even imagine!
GO USA! I love the Olympics! I"m so proud of our girls and of course Michael Phelps!
that show is just great. i think it's good that ray and i are watching it now BEFORE we have a kid because anything we end up with will be better than having 8!
phelps just one the 50 meter fly - unbelievable!
I stayed up late watching too but since I am a teacher still on summer break, I could sleep in. I agree nastia did better last night than Shawn but since I am from Iowa too, I am really rooting Shawn on in the upcoming round, would LOVE to see her win a gold. I too cried during the medal ceremony but it doesn't take a whole lot to get me to
i was routing for both of them, honestly. i didn't have a favorite....they're both so good! shawn is just great on the beam - maybe she'll win the gold in that!
Then Dawn can start counting her own kids meltdowns!! Trust me...it will happen!!! We spent 45 minutes waiting for my almost 7 yo to stop wailing before I was willing to take him on the monorail (screaming kid + crowded monorail = no fun for everyone!!) BUT, staying through wishes and riding a few last rides at night (the carousel takes on a new magic all lit up) was probably worth it.
oh, i have no doubt. meltdowns are inevitable at disney. emotions are running SO high that they just can't handle when something doesn't go their way! i totally get it. oh, and thank you for not getting on the monorail with a screaming kid. i'm sure everyone appreciated that!
