hey i am first and second....great update, very nice princess pics...that was the same cinderella that we had last year.

the pool does look like a blast i hope we get to use ours this year when we go.

i wish i would've had more time by the pool but it's no biggie. i can lay out at a pool any time....i can't go to magic kingdom any time!

I love meeting the princesses, they are also so nice. I really like Malificent too though, and you're right, I doubt Aurora would like to be told how awesome she is, LOL.

I can't wait to hear about the Pirate and Princess Party, that is one of my favorite events.

the pirate and princess party was so awesome! it will take me awhile to get through it though since i have SO MANY pics and i want to show you guys the whole parade and fireworks, so that will take awhile to upload in sections. but i think it'll be worth the wait!

Great update! I like the picture of you two in front of the castle that is in color. I wish I had been able to meet Belle. I saw her and the Beast in Epcot, but they left as soon as we got there. Just an excuse to go back! I am working on convincing DH we need to go in December 2009...he keeps asking me to plant the money tree! Hahaha

i look at anything i miss as an excuse to go back! i hear ya on the money tree! i always say i work just so i can go back to disney!

I always thought it would be weird to meet the face characters but I guess not huh? We are doing CRT and Akershus for breakfast in Dec so I won't have a choice!

it is a little bit strange compared to meeting the ones in a costume. but really it's just as you walk up to them you feel kind of awkward. usually after you get their autograph they start talking to you, asking where you're from, etc., so it makes you much more comfortable. you don't have to worry about that now because you can just use ty as an excuse and carry him up there with you!

Great update! The princess pictures are so cute. I haven't been back there since our first trip in '92 so I'd love to check it out next time. And I really like the pictures in front of the castle... they're both gorgeous!

We love meeting the princesses too - of course, I have 2 daughters; but we love how they totally stay in character and really have conversations with you! My kids would be so mesmerized by them!

oh, girlie, you are so behind! ray is just full of surprises. neither ray nor i wanted kids when we got married. not that we didn't love kids - just didn't see the good in bringing another person into this insane world. but that has slowly changed over the years for both of us. this past march we're sitting there talking about maybe adding me to his insurance plan because the insurance i pay out of pocket for (i'm self employed) doesn't have maternity coverage. so he goes, "well, if we add you to my plan, when do you want to start trying?"

excuse me? what? i don't think i heard you right.

but that's really what he said. we talked about it and we both agree that the positives of procreating are starting to outweigh the negatives and we think we'd be good parents. so we have decided to start trying once i get appointed to my own judge, which should be by the end of 2009. so that's what all that talk is about! don't get too excited - it's still a long way off! we haven't told our parents yet because if we do they'd ask us every time we see them, "so are you pregnant yet????" i just can't deal with that all the time. but i figure it couldn't hurt telling thousands on the internet!

I won't tell a soul. I think you two will make wonderful parents. I see how well you take care of and love your fur babies. It's like that but 1000x better!

I was never much of a princess fan in general either until I met them in person at WDW and they were all sooo sweet to my DD who was 2 at the time and a huge fan! She still has princess memories from that trip...

so sweet!!! they are so good with the little ones, too. i wish i could rewind and meet princesses at that age!

I, too, like the colored castle picture, but my favorite of all of in this update is the Tinkerbell one. I think it came out great!

That was so sweet when the little boy told Donald he had seen him last night. He was truly excited!

The pool looks very inviting right now.

wasn't that little boy a hoot? he just kind of appeared out of nowhere and wanted donald to know that he saw him last night! and yes, the pool does look very inviting, considering it was 98 degrees here today!

Okay, I had to laugh that Ray seemed so insistent that you see the princesses while the wait was short! He was definitely getting into the Disney spirit!

I love how the princesses chat with everybody about their lives and stay in character -- how do they come up with the things they say??? I would be so clueless.

I think the picture of you holding Tink is too cute! I think I need a holding Tink picture the next time!

he may roll his eyes when i mention disney but at least he takes care of me while at disney world! i'm sure the princesses are trained on things they can say to people. there's no way they just add lib it! and yes, i met one of my favorite villians!

thanks!! oh, i have no shame about standing in line for characters! i think that's what walt disney had in mind when he dreamt up disney world.....a place where adults and kids could both have fun and live their dreams! (sounds so cheesy, huh? )

thanks about my hair. i love it because it's so easy. it doesn't take much styling but i will say that i have very thick, dry, wavy hair, so i only have to wash it twice a week because otherwise i'd get dandruff or dry scalp or whatever. what i do is after i wash it, i put a little frizz ease hair serum in it, then i blow dry it straight with a big round brush. then when i style it every day basically i just take a straightener to it to get the waviness out that may have occurred overnight (sometimes i don't even have to do that - depends on how i sleep on it) and i may take a big curling iron to the back to give it a little volume. then i just use frizz ease secret weapon to prevent frizziness throughout the day (living in georgia the humidity is terrible!) and maybe a little hair spray.

When we opened toon town, there wasn't any fan fair, but my ds got a fun surprise (i'm not revealing...since I'm not that far into my tr). Did you guys head to the pool for the afternoon too?

I absolutely know what you mean. They way we were parented, or NOT parented in my case, also have a ton to do with how we do things. I have friends who are great parents but we do things totally differently. I have a GREAT book to suggest when you begin to parent.

nope, no pool time for us. we wanted to rest before the P&PP. we did go by there and say hey to them before we went to package pickup and then to the room, but you'll see that later.

if it makes you feel any better, i have an ADULT friend who once told her boyfriend she wanted him to pick up some orangutangs at the store on the way home when what she meant to say was tangerines!

it was really a cool experience to meet them. i just didn't really think i'd ever have the opportunity to do it because i wasn't willing to wait in that line!

THANK YOU GUYS for all your well wishes. both the boys are having their teeth cleaned, but they're going to remove some of sherman's tumors while he's under anesthesia. i'm not having all of them removed because if i did he'd be cut up to pieces. he's getting on up there in age (he'll be 11 in december) and he's got quite a few fatty tumors, but we had them cut off 3 years ago and the vet said they'd come back and that they're harmless as long as they're not too big and as long as they don't hurt him when we mess with them. here's a pic from that surgery. if we cut off all the fatty tumors he'd have stitches like this all over his body and i just didn't want that for him as long as it doesn't hurt to leave the tumors there.

he's still a cutie even covered in stitches!
