Dawn-
I really love how you just get right in there and visit with the characters. You know that Belle was beautiful. Some of them aren't as lovely as others. But she had it going on! When we opened toon town, there wasn't any fan fair, but my ds got a fun surprise (i'm not revealing...since I'm not that far into my tr). Did you guys head to the pool for the afternoon too?
nope, no pool time for us. we wanted to rest before the P&PP. we did go by there and say hey to them before we went to package pickup and then to the room, but you'll see that later.
i didn't realize you had started your TR until i read this. glad you mentioned it! i know you said something to me about it awhile back i'm oblivious and it went straight over my head!
I absolutely know what you mean. They way we were parented, or NOT parented in my case, also have a ton to do with how we do things. I have friends who are great parents but we do things totally differently.

I have a GREAT book to suggest when you begin to parent.
cool! i will!
And speaking of parenting, clearly Joshua and I need to work on his vocabulary. He just got home from playing outside, said he was hungry, I asked what he wanted, and he said "some of the orange stuff in that bowl, you know the
antelope".

He meant cantaloupe.

that's hilarious!!! he's cute so who cares if he uses the right word?
if it makes you feel any better, i have an ADULT friend who once told her boyfriend she wanted him to pick up some orangutangs at the store on the way home when what she meant to say was tangerines!
I love your pictures with Belle!
I almost never get my picture taken with the face characters, because they will talk to me and I get nervous when people talk to me in English!
i'm sure you'd do fine!!! i would think they've been trained to understand that disney world is host to international guests and that they'd have to consider that when communicating with people.
Love all the pics of you with the princesses - how fun that you went and had your picture and conversation with them! I also think you and that Belle could be sisters.
thanks! i'll certainly take that compliment as i think she was really pretty, although i just don't see it!
Great update! The princesses sounded so fun! I love it when they talk in character! Cinderella and Belle was so funny!
Love the countdown calendar! That looks like alot of work!
it was really a cool experience to meet them. i just didn't really think i'd ever have the opportunity to do it because i wasn't willing to wait in that line!
thanks about the countdown! it literally took me about 30 minutes to do it - no big deal!
I just LOVE Cinderella...Jordan's got $$ on the fact that I will get teary eyed when I see her
i'll be ready to capture the moment forever with my camera!
she was just soooooo pretty! i'm thinking i have a girl-crush on that belle.
I love Ray's hat pic...it's hilarious!
i looked up and saw it and i had to get that pic!

I am sorry sweetie. Let us know how it goes.
I will send good thoughts to you and Sherman on Thursday!

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
I'll be thinking of you and Sherman on Thursday - always a hard thing with our pets.
Here's some

ixiedust: for your Sherman! I hope all goes well!
Ditto! Hope all goes well for your baby!
Aw, sorry about Sherman. I'm sure he'll be fine! Oreo's had two surgeries to remove tumors and she was fine. Best of luck!
THANK YOU GUYS for all your well wishes. both the boys are having their teeth cleaned, but they're going to remove some of sherman's tumors while he's under anesthesia. i'm not having all of them removed because if i did he'd be cut up to pieces. he's getting on up there in age (he'll be 11 in december) and he's got quite a few fatty tumors, but we had them cut off 3 years ago and the vet said they'd come back and that they're harmless as long as they're not too big and as long as they don't hurt him when we mess with them. here's a pic from that surgery. if we cut off all the fatty tumors he'd have stitches like this all over his body and i just didn't want that for him as long as it doesn't hurt to leave the tumors there.
he's still a cutie even covered in stitches!
this time we're basically just cutting off the tumors on the outside of his body (like little warts). the only one they're worried about is one on his front arm because it looks kinda bad. they're going to send that one off to check for cancer. i'm sure he will be fine!
