What a great day at DHS. ToT/AIE/TSM. what a great trifecta! Did you enjoy American Idol?
CS at DHS lacks. They now have bbq at DHS--Fairfax Fare near ToT...not bad. But all the seating is outdoors so anytime other than winter will be perhaps a little umcomfortable.....
Poly and then Wishes...man you got to do a lot of nice "just engaged" type of things...
Nice!! In one day, you guys did 2 of the things I"m most excited about... HBD AND sushi and drinks at the Poly! I absolutely CANNOT wait to sit leisurely drinking in the "scent" of the poly (no you're not the only one!) with a cool bevvie in hand noshing on some tasty raw fishies! Mmm!!
Never have seen AI even once- I think I'll pass on it at this Sept. maybe the line for ToT will be shorter during it.
You had some wonderful treats this day: free pizza, discounts, FiPs! How great!
While the bartender was making our drinks, I had to go over to the window and just stare out at the MK and watch the Castle change colors. I didnt want this moment to end. We were in my favorite place in the world, without all the worries of the real world.

Chad laughs at me, but I also love the smell from POTC and HM. I can't explain it, it just makes me smile!!! I guess its that chlorinated water smell and the fake flower smell?? lol!!
I feel like I know that CM. He looks like someone who I remember working in Soarin' last year. Hmm...
Great DHS update! I thought the same thing about the food options there but looking at the menus on allears, it seems there is much more of a variety than I though! I have a few CS places in mind for next trip. It's just so hard to get around that park!
I'm excited for the new TOT additions. I'm curious as to what exactly will be changed.
I totally get what you mean about the Poly smell! In fact, just the other night I said to DH, for a split second I remembered exactly what the Poly smelled like. His response, I don't remember it having smell.
I totally get it! I do the same thing at random times during my trips.
GREAT timing with Wishes too! That looks like an excellent spot to watch from.
No matter how many times we go or how close the trips might be together, we still have moments like this every time - moments where we just stand there and smile and know that life is good.
One regret I have about the Mother's Day trip is that we won't have time for resort hopping. We always find our way to Poly, Wilderness Lodge, and Animal Kingdom Lodge, but this trip is so, so short, we won't be doing that. It's okay, because I'm very grateful for and very excited about the trip, but it will be different not to visit the resorts.

I love the Disney smells, too! WL has a certain smell that you just can't recreate and like a PP said, I like the way Pirates smells too! Well, heck, most all of Disney smells good! And I would say ALL but the water stinks, there. THe water from the faucets, I mean. ick.
All in all, it sounds like an AWESOME day. So glad you ended it with Wishes and champagne. how romantic!

regarding smells. your sense of smell is the strongest memory trigger. so disney is smart in making things fragrant...I know at Disneyland that the Candy Shop would blow out a vanilla smell...

We stopped in the Western scene and Fiancé informed me that this was his first time seeing it! Wow! Of all 5 times that hes been to WDW with me, we were usually in the Gangster scene! Crazy!
She DVR's it and a few weeks ago they showed the Disney episodes! She watched them everyday...unfortunately they got erased b/c we went away for spring break and we had so much recording and not enough space.
