Once again...I'm sooooo happy we have the qsdp....no stress over ADR's.

Last week I saw I could get Cindy's an hour before the park opened on our first day. I was shocked. I got up at 5 am on our beach vacation to call in ADR's for our last trip and didn't get that early. So we toyed with making the ADR. Well if we do that then it's only $xx to upgrade to regular dining. But then I have to make all kinds of ADR's. Well...it is doable because free dining hasn't been announced...so I can probably get all kinds of stuff...but then we have to add tips...


Wait a min...I already did touring plans and we don't have enough time to do everything we want to do with the storytellers, cp, ect. Um...no..we'll just save the money we would have spend to upgrade and pay for tips and make another trip that much sooner.

PS...sorry if that didn't make a whole lot of sense...didn't sleep well in the pciu last night. They are moving us to a regular room today so I should get better sleep tonight...and maybe even a nap this afternoon.

I hope your daughter is feeling better! I had the same problem with my daughter last summer and it is just awful!!! Hang in there!

I totally understand where you are coming from. If it werent DD13th bday we would be doing reg dining plan OR QS . Hope DD is feeling better

Iv been hard at work all day seitching around (our current ADRs) things and changing up a bit. I wanted to get rid of GG and put CR in its place BUT that left us with only a waterpark day of about 10-2 and my kids would HATE me! So this is what I had

S-Epcot
W-Blizzard Beach
F-DTD

BUT now have this

This allowed me to schedule our candlelight processional for lunch at 2 for the 5pm show and do Coral Reef that night so all this switching enabled me to do one more thing: LEAVE A SPOT OPEN FOR BE OUR GUEST!!!!!!!
I am beyond excited... now if I can only score a ressie

Right now I have been talking to DH to try to figure out where to put BOG... he suggested cancelling Ohana....no I cant do that. I have worked too hard on our ressies to just cancel one of the few hard to get ADR's I have!

I went back and looked over all of our ADR's. We have come to the conclusion that Be Our Guest will be Counter Service right before we go home!!!! I do not want to give up WCC for it.... atleast not yet. I cancelled all ressies not needed. SOOOO we are set as far as our ADR's! Next Ill have to get all the info loaded into the spreadsheet and plan our DTD time! We want to fit DQ in and Beaches and Cream on the Boardwalk I need like 3 weeks at Disney to fit everything in I want to do! We are doing Magic Kingdom on our first day now!

Do you know the torture that was free dining yesterday? I kept thinking I should try to make it work so I would pick up the phone and then hang up and pick it up again. I just really didn't want to have to do split stay and I can't switch my days around. So then, I decided I would do a split stay at the Poly, half in my TPV room and the other half at CL but when I went to do it, finally, all the CL rooms were booked, so I took it as a sign to just step away and leave it alone!

Anyway, this story had a point, on Aug 4 when (if) ADR's open up for BOG, will you be able to resist the madness? It's sooooo hard to stay out of the action!

Right now yes BUT I am battling with leaving WCC or changing it back to 1900PF (which we always do before a party at MK)

ETA: I changed our arrival day back to DTD/MK that way we have T-Rex as our first meal and then have some MK time followed by 1900PF Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner... I know it was never on the list BUT DD loves her princesses!

Your planning is always so exciting... as things are changing, but if it were my trip I would be totally stressed! I have to have things "set" relatively early so I don't get anxiety with changes, LOL! =)

Funny thing is, I have these ADR's.... I 'cancel' them on my spreadsheet but dont physically cancel them yet... I am swapping things out so much. I odnt know what I really want anymore!

We are having our first Disney family movie night! We have to do it Sunday nights because thats the only night DH is home for dinner Up first is Lady and the Tramp and Spaghetti

I have spent all day today trying to figure out what my final schedule will be. And about an hour ago, I FINALLY figured it out! we are doing away with the Via Napoli Candlelight Processional Package and going with Coral Reef CLP and put 1900 Park Fare in its place for DD4 I cant wait! I also could keep LTT and T-rex as well as Fantasmic! package!!!! I can not be any more excited!!!!!! I am finalizing my plans now with any shows or rides we cant forget to do and any snacks but other than that its done
