The best engagments are the ones when they dont see it coming. I dont want to hijack your TR, but I surprised my wife on my College Graduation, I had my best friend put candles all of the bridge on campus where we first said, "I love you." We walked right onto the bridge and she still didnt know it was for us until I got down on one knee.

Hope you guys have a great time planning for the wedding and start planning those anniversary trips each year to disney.

I just realized we were at CM's the same night! We had to of just missed each other.

At first the people around us didnt really know what was going on, but I know some people actually had heard DF's family say that he was going to propose soon so some people stuck around the area to watch. It didnt take long before everyone moved out of the way and realized what had just happened.

Noooo the castle part of the show actually was not part of it... I will have to have him write his version because he obviously knows it better than me, but I know there was some improvising because of that castle show!

I always laugh when I see the look on my face. When people ask me, so were you surprised, I just show them the picture and they are like, "oh i guess so."

Yep, he actually had this trip planned 1 year in advance for that reason, but made me think we were going in June because of his mom's work and not because of our anniversary. I am very oblivious!
