Our Magical Mulligan Trip!!

EWWWW! I definately think it was pop warner - or things went downhill from when we were there in August for two nights. It was nice and clean - even the elevators (which we had to take because my younger brother is in a wheelchair). I'm so sorry the grounds were like that, but I'm glad that your room was neat and clean!

wow.

Lauralee...you got alotta gumption girl~most times I mind my business when it comes to OPC...Other People's Children...I am a people watcher, I notice rambunctious and cute and roudy, I draw the line at rude.

I so woulda said something to the kids or security.

We have kid issues at the skatepark I help run...when they get outta my control, they get handed to security. Singing is one thing, singing profanely in front of small children and their parents at DisneyWorld shows nothing but complete disrespect.

No matter what you pay, you should not have had to endure that type of filth. You hit a bad time with a bad crowd with completely unattentive parents...I pray this will never happen to you again.

I have stayed at the All Stars with a large group of children, but guess what, they behave. Rose and I were always attentive to our girl scouts, but to our benefit, they all had attentive parents who weren't afraid to tell them when they stepped over that line.

And can I just say that I pictured you at your screen squinting to look for those little details such as....oh, I don't know....SKIDMARKS?!?!?:lmao: :lmao:

OMG!!! I just spit out my coffee....because I WAS TOTALING LOOKING when I read that installment and debated making a comment!!!!:rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: You complete me!!!:lmao: :rotfl2:

Okay, now that you found me and I found you, I just had to read your trip report.

Here's me reading your report in no particular order.
:surfweb: :cool1: :surfweb: :lmao: :surfweb:

LOVED IT!

OMG - your Seinfeld backflash while on the sleigh ride had me goin' there.:lmao: That's totally DH (Justin) and I too. We'd have thought about the samething had we been there.

Actually, you two sound a lot like Justin and I in many ways. Although I don't do the 3 x 5 index cards with our Disney plans. Okay, Okay....I fess up. I did use Word Office Professional to make a 1 page itinerary, but that's it! I draw the line there! Well, and I also plan a trip around.....ahhem..... that time of the month (wink-wink). I can't possibly be the only women that does that!

But baseball...and GOLF! Whoa, your DH and my DH need to get together. On our little WDW excursion (when we ran into you guys at SSR) my DH was like, "You mean I CAN'T play golf all winter in Spokane because of the snow, then you drag me all the way across the country to warm Florida, and I CAN'T PLAY GOLF HERE EITHER?!!! What's up with that? You had the nerve to make all these plans, and yet your didn't plan A GOLF DAY?! Not ONE, LITTLE MEASLEY GOLF DAY for your poor ol' hubby? I'm hurt....no...no...I mean it. I'm hurt.":sad2:

I got the feeling that he was kidding, and yet not kidding at the same time.:goodvibes

As for the Pop Warner group on the bus and their colorful language...maybe you should have given them Cruella's phone number so they could call her up and sing to her one of their "colorful" songs. It probably would have been the highlight of her holidays!

By the way, your DS is the CUTEST!!! I'm not just saying that. He REALLY is cute!

Let's see if I can find a picture of my 2 nose pickers. Oh, here's one. This is at Disneyland last October. Ryan is 7 and Luke is 3.

Hope you had a nice weekend trip too. Can't wait to read your mini-trip report about it.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh am I glad we go to a moderate, WDW holiday is so expensive from over here but am I glad we paid a bit more to upgrade. (last trip for 2 weeks at POR all in cost just under $12,000!!!!!!!) So whats an extra $600!?! :rotfl2:

:faint: OMG...was that the platinum plan or something????

:confused3 How in the world...UGH...DVC baby...that's about 125 points right there. Although I can imagine that your airfare is a killer...

You poor thing.

I was raised by a neat freak and I can't even imagine a Disney Resort looking like that. (even though the proof was in the pics)

I guess in Disney's defense it was Pop Warner week.:confused3

I think it was the Pop Warner week thing too...had to be. I can't imagine that it would be like that on a regular basis...I'll look at my calendar MUCH more closely in future December visits!!

Hey - I'd MUCH RATHER have a really clean room and messy grounds than the other way around!! :rolleyes1

I'm just chalking it up to Pop Warner like I wrote to Tasha. I'd hope that MY child will be much better behaved than those little animals when it's his turn to someday take a school trip like that or something. In fact, I ensure that...I'll chaperone!!:)

LOVED IT!.

Hi there!! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read! :surfweb: I'd imagine that it took awhile! Glad to have you here!

OMG - your Seinfeld backflash while on the sleigh ride had me goin' there.:lmao: That's totally DH (Justin) and I too. We'd have thought about the samething had we been there..

We can't help ourselves...not too much time goes by before a Seinfeld reference rears its' head with the two of us...

:lmao: Ah you're not the only one that does that!! :yay: Me too, me too!!

Oh no...you think he really wanted to golf?!? I can see my DH wanting to, especially with DS there to "keep me company"...hmmmm...maybe next time you should send him golfing and spend the day at DTD! Shopping, anyone??? :thumbsup2 I'm totally making tee time reservations for DH in September...You know that saying, "If mama aint happy, aint nobody happy"? Well, that works both ways in our house! Gotta keep dad happy too. Although, I don't get the draw of going to play golf by yourself on vacation...just me I guess:confused3

As for the Pop Warner group on the bus and their colorful language...maybe you should have given them Cruella's phone number so they could call her up and sing to her one of their "colorful" songs. It probably would have been the highlight of her holidays!.
OMG - can you imagine if we'd encountered those kids on the trip with Cruella? Although, let me tell you...her language was much more colorful than theirs when we went last year...her venom spewing, especially in Toon Town was mortifying!!!

By the way, your DS is the CUTEST!!! I'm not just saying that. He REALLY is cute!.

Thank you - that's very sweet of you!

Let's see if I can find a picture of my 2 nose pickers. Oh, here's one. This is at Disneyland last October. Ryan is 7 and Luke is 3.

Wow - 2 boys - you must have your hands full! What a great picture! Couple of cuties you got there! They're going to grow up to be heart breakers!

It was a pleasure meeting you guys...I hope you get to come back soon...it's awesome, isn't it? I gotta get to work on my TR for that short trip...You're making me look bad!!:lmao:

:faint: OMG...was that the platinum plan or something????

:confused3 How in the world...UGH...DVC baby...that's about 125 points right there. Although I can imagine that your airfare is a killer...
Um that was no plan! My DD actually said one day, as we shared yet another meal (not for cost just big portions!) "are we poor Mummy?" Well you can imagine my reaction. :rotfl2: That $12,000 was for everything, tickets, food souvenirs etc. This years will be a bit cheaper as we've managed to get free dining.

Is your DH going in August? As my DH wants to play golf one day (he's a professional) he didn't last trip but was drooling so much on the POR boat trip to DTD as we passed a course it's a must do for him this time but no partner!

Ok, ok....so as my good friends have not-so-subtly hinted to me that they're just going to run amok around here while I'm gone, I'm guessing they just want me to hurry up and put this one in the can...so here are some final thoughts...lessons learned, if you will:

First of all, and we all know this already, this trip was SOOO much better with just the 3 of us…remember Mousketeers...friends don’t let friends take family members on vacation!:teacher: Learn it, live it, know it!

And speaking of friends....I've made some awesome new friends (who may, or may not be, crazy-pineapple-drinking-axe murders :lmao: ) we'll find out in August, right Jo???:thumbsup2

…DIS friends will let you rattle on for 9 months about your vacation BEFORE you even go on vacation when ED friends (ok, D_Mama, get your mind out of the gutter - the ED stands for Every Day) tuned you out nine months ago as soon as you told them you were going back.

…Really good DIS friends will “talk you down” from a Disney Dining tele-thon high playing musical ADR’s. ED's don't understand the big deal...why do you even need reservations on vacation?

…Really good DIS friends will help you find ways to justify adding a day…or two…or three to your stay and cheer you on for it – for the sake of extra savings and less stress! :thumbsup2 ED's talk about you behind your back like you're some kind of crazy person.:sad2:

…NEW DIS friends will take time away from their families to meet someone whom they’ve only chatted with on the computer, risking the possibility that this new friend could possibly be some kind of weirdo! ED's think you're out of your mind for spending so much of your time on line "talking" with people you've never met. And they think you need professional help for WANTING to meet the people you've never met!

…Those same new friends become really good DIS friends who will drink out of pineapples with you even though they’re ALLERGIC to them!! These same friends even agree to do the same thing with even MORE new DIS friends! You think that these are the same kind of good friends that if they were ED's would not just bail you out of jail, but would be sitting behind bars with you saying "Damn that was fun!":lmao:

...I've learned that my final thoughts on the trip itself aren't quite done yet...:surfweb:

To be continued...

And to those of you - who know who you are - LOVE YOU/MEAN IT!!:grouphug:

I must have missed that lesson, as I have Waldo and clan joining us on our next dis-adventure.

I KNOW! What's with ED's anyway? It's not like we're internet dating... wait... or is it? :confused3

Ok... so I know there's more. I won't run amok... unless you want me to.:hippie:
