!.- Dd was made Chef of the Day at the All Star Music Resort one night when we came back from the parks.
I had promised to buy her an ice cream when we got back to the hotel (she wanted hand dipped ice cream), so I told our friends to head to the room and we would join them a few minutes later, since I had planned on dd eating her ice cream on the way to the room.
I bought the ice cream and was taking some napkins for the necessary clean up afterwards, when a CM apporached me asking if my DD would like to have a magical moment and be "Chef of the Day". DD said no thank you at first
, but then DISer mommmy convinced her, so Marlene (nice CM from PR) asked her what her favorite cookie was and told us to stay in the area, that she would be back.
Marlene came back with a huge cookie in one of the Mickey plates they use for kids meals, the cookie was bigger than the middle section. There was chocolate ice cream in one ear of the plate and vanilla ice cream in the other (while bad mommy was
at the though of sugar high for DD, she is just 4, had just had a huge ice cream and was getting a huge cookie and lots more ice cream at 8:30 pm while I had planned for her to be hitting her pillow around that time), and many plates with hot fudge, m&m´s, rainbow sprinkles, cherries, tiny marshmallows and a can of whipped cream. DD was given a chef´s hat and a certificate, an announcement was made to everyone that Estrella was the chef of the day, a picture taken of her with other CM´s by Marlene (which she was so nice to say will be sent to me by email) and then she began decorating her cookie.
2.- The day we had ressies for the girls (3) at the BBB, they were running really late (ressies were for 3:30, we checked in around 3:20 and dd, the last to get in, was taken in around 4:45. Dd cut her hair last december (and of course my first thought was her BBB day, lol) and she has shoulder length hair, which made it very dificult for the godmother to pin her hair up, so we left the boutique around 5:30.
We had to pick up a cake at the candy store because we were having dinner at 1900 PF at the GF at 6:00.
We got to the bus stop around 5:45 (I knew then we would be late for our ADR, but was told in guest relations where we stopped to see if it could be pushed to 30 min. later but no one picked up the phone at the restaurant) and after waiting 5 min for the bus I saw a Manager and asked him exactly where was the taxi stop, because we were running late and thought that it would be faster.
He saw that we had a birthday princess and told us to hold on a couple of minutes, made a call to another transportation coach saying that he had a Birthday princess who was about to miss her ADR with Cindy and that he could not allow that, then he turned towards us and said that a private van would pick us up in a few minutes and he tried calling the restaurant again to tell them to hold our ADR (again no one picked up). When the GF bus came I told him we could ride it and he said "you don´t want to ride in it, it will take ages" (which I knew, that is why we had 2.5 hr gap between BBB and dinner).
Another coach showed up in a minivan and drove us to the GF. When we got there he even took the time to ask our girls to choose a pin from his lanyard (dd got a Cindy CM only edition pin).
It that isn´t MAGIC, I don´t know what is.
