Our magic moment...(w/photos)

Well we finally did it ... made it to Disney World. My husband posted a really nice trip report (KingsFanInRI). However I just wanted to share what I think was our most magical moment. Sorry it took so long to get to this...

We went to Epcot on Saturday May 1st. As we were in the UK in World Showcase, my son discovered a track for Thomas the Train. John LOVED IT. He didnt want to do anything else....Even when Pooh and Tigger came out and we were pretty much the only ones there.... But alas I did what I said i would NEVER do and MADE him go visit Tigger and Pooh. So I walk him over to Tigger and what does he do....He asks Tigger to go play trains with him....and much to my and DH surprise he DID IT...and THEN when Tigger had left POOH came over TOO...and then Tigger came back and they both played together with my DS. It was so fun for my son.....that is why we came to Disney World for our family vacation, and why we will be back in Feb.

P.S...I will post more pics as soon as I get DH to bring them home from work......grrrrr

Reminds me of my GS 7yrs.....He has loved trains since about the age of 3yrs. We took him to cedar point 2 yrs ago and all he wanted to ride was the train. Your son is adorable, Thank you for sharing the pictures.

I know <i>exactly</i> what you are talking about. Pooh and Tigger back there in the UK are awesome. We were there and there was NOBODY around. We had them all to ourselves too. DD wasn't walking yet and they both got down on the floor and played with them. My picture looks very much like yours:

Awwww! Wonderful pictures! And what a great story! We also got to see Pooh and Tigger all alone in the shop in the UK one vacation. It was funny because they just appeared and no-one else was around. Too cute that your DS invited them to play trains! And so cool for them to join him! Magical moment!

P.S. Do you fly out of RI? If so - which airline? We are closer to Providence than Boston but we still fly out of Logan. Maybe some day we'll switch.

JESW we do fly out of Providence. We used Southwest to Orlando. We got a wonderful price of $49.00 each way!!!! It was our only flight to Orlando.......but we have flown them to other destination always a fair price.

And Providence's airport is great (smaller) compared to Logan.
