Our Long Long Journey to WDW

So this is going to be a long drawn out countdown to a overdue Dream Vacation for my family of 3 .

Let's start this off properly, I am Lisa I am a receptionist at Patriot Chevrolet in Hopkinsville, KY and I work hard but love it. My work is like my family speaking my family, I am married to my Prince Charming who is just as much of a Disney Fan as me althougth he would never admit it, Chris. And together we have a beautiful Princess, Miss Aspen, who I will admit is a Spoiled Disney Princess in her own right.

So for the last 2 1/2 years my husband and myself have not had any vacation time form work ! Which has kept us at home and I am going INSANE and aggravated!

So now that I have a better job with actually vacation and my husband can hopefully finally get vacation I think it is time for a truly magical trip for us. So even though we can't go till Fall 2013 which seems like a long time at least its not like before which SEEMED LIKE FOREVER!

So now to the real reason for this thread .... the planning of this "LONG JOURNEY" the reality is that its two vacations in one Let me explain my husband has family near Panama City Beach so we are going to drive there and spend a few days then off to Disney World where the MAGIC begins! So far my idea is to leave September 28th and return home October 6th 2013! Which is over a year away. Can we say EXCITED!


So I have started a plan to save and budget our money so we can do EVERYTHING we have dreamed of doing! So that is what I am working on right now and yea I am suppose to be working but instead I am starting this blog. I am also about to go nuts looking out our bills and budget for the next 16 months. HMMM any one want to pay my electric bill?

Oh well I figured I would try! So back on topic the planning I feel its the time for the waiting game. You know that time where you wait on Disney to release package prices yep thats the point I am at.

So well I hope you all enjoy my rants as I prepare for our MAGICAL LONG JOURNEY TO OUR DREAM VACATION

So I have been working to get everyone on board with my budget for Disney World. I have been listing the bills in Excel ( which I have learned I would rather write them out) but husband uses that more than me. So at most we are starting to save money. I think I am ahead of the game for now. Next task is to decide on exact time frame cause now the husband wants to go a different week. Oh well at least everyone is on board.


How is y'alls planning going? Any tips or tricks to share?
