Well, I picked DD's up from school and they said they decided on BWI. They said since it's daddy's birthday trip, he should get his dream resort.

so...brightening my day (along with this dentist debacle being over now) is I was just able to do FP+ for our trip!!!

Melissa geez so sorry I am not holding onto any hope even though we don't go for 40 days. I will be happy with MB even if they don't do anything as long as I can customize them and not have to have the grey ones

I lurk at GF thread due to upcoming trips. RPC???? Can't believe I am finally trying it

Dh has to visit his dad in fla again. He went in for surgery in July but still in icu and not doing well. He is down to about 100 lbs.

Dd18 has been great. First born grand children are so good. She face times them and texts and sends cards from college.

So my good news dd coming home this weekend but dh leaving tomorrow for fla to see his dad.

3 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

And, it can't come soon enough...this morning, I was awoken at 5:24 am, by what sounded like an explosion. I live on a dead end, cookie cutter cul-de-sac neighborhood, very quiet....

I looked out the window to see marked and unmarked PD vehicles, ambulances (all turned off and silent) and then SWAT And DEA armored vehicles...

FBI agents soon arrived on MY STREET...my quiet little street!

Well, FB was a buzz with my neighbors because we were all woken by the blast...

Turns out that one of our neighbors, one that has lived there for about 2 years and none of us knows...was taken down for drugs, weapons and money laundering!!!! It was a planned raid carried out before the sun rose...wow, just wow....

No one was really surprised though, it was a 20-something kid who owned the house (and even though he bought it foreclosed 2 years ago, it was still $210k paid in cash). Did some major reno's and kept it super nice, drove brand new Mercedes, etc....obviously something was going on. He worked for a big investment firm in Boston and was laundering the money through them....

Just goes to show....it can happen anywhere....

I thought someone was taking a baseball bat to a car, ran to phone 911 while running out to my back balcony when I saw what was happening, swat teams were hiding behind cars, bushes, etc, while out of my sight line I presume they were breaking into the front door.
911 operator gets on, and I say, never mind, sorry I phoned when I heard loud booming. She says yes, I can see by your location. Please stay in the house!
Apparently it was a big grow op.
Nobody was in the house when the police arrived.

Crazy, huh??? It's so sad too. This guy had a really good job with a nice 6-figure salary as such a young guy. And to get involved in drugs, etc.... Either it's stupidity or greed. But now none of it matters because he is in jail.

This is a great family neighborhood....hopefully his house goes up for sale and a nice family moves in.

I have until 10/4 to make changes and already thinking of changeing my color from. Pink to orange or maybe yellow ? This is so bad

So I'm already planning for this conference. I told my mom she will have to watch the kids because I have to go solo. I didn't ask because she will come up with an excuse. I also told her that I am going to add an extra day on to my trip so that I can enjoy a day (but I'm probably going to add 2, 1 at the beginning and 1 at the end that's our secret). She tried to convince me that I should cancel my Easter trip since I have the conference, but in all honesty the conference will be super cheap. I can use my TA discount if we don't get a group rate, I will have an AP, and I only need to pay for myself. I'm actually SUPERRR excited because I have been wanting to do a solo trip FOREVERRR. This is my chance!

HI to all I missed! I spent too much time with my FP+ this morning. To get rides and times I wanted took a lot of canceling and changing.

I spent a lot of time with FP+ before I cancelled my reservation. It was fun!!!
