Sam is so happy in the band and its made the transition to the HS much easier. The routine looks awesome so far, and I know the kids are only going to get better.

They may have already set the RC gears in motion, they were excited about Boardwalk, until they realized they couldn't go in SAB....

So, now thinking about BC CL...which would be fully refurbished by our visit...

Hi Peeps!

My headline news for the day...guess who's making a last minute trip to FL? Moi! Have been mulling over options for the last 2 weeks (at one point the auto train), and with work, school, YIKES a lot going on... BUT... that AP just was too much! That and a few other factors ....

Background, my sis will be in Disney (she leaves tomorrow), taking a solo trip for F&W, staying at the POP. Was not planning on joining her as we were just there in August, but another factor in the equation is that my DS Paul is in Florida (not Orlando, too bad, cant have everything ) so I can combine the quick trip with my sis and the both of us taking a road trip to see Paul for a day!

I'm so EXCITED!! Hoping to meet up with Ginny on Sunday, Monday will be gone all day and Tuesday back in the parks, departing Wednesday.
I feel so blessed to be returning so soon, especially with the December trip on the horizon. I have a wonderful DH, and Sam is at the age that she has her own thing with School and the Band, both are happy for me, so I'm free to go!!

So, Candace and Melissa, any chance to meet up??

I have heard good things about LTT (we've never eaten there but hopefully next year we'll fit it in). Perhaps drop BOG and do CS there, and try LTT. Its looks yummy! (and plentiful!)... also, since Bob loves his meat, have you considered O'hana? Meat heaven!!

for SW credit!! Every bit helps towards next trip.

Sheila, I'm probably one of the minority, but I never look at TP.

We never ate at LTT either, I gave up my 'Ohana ADR plus Neither Bob nor I like running from parks to resorts to eat anymore it just seems like too much of a hassle now KWIM?

I was and am still hopeing we can get a FP for lunch at BOG if not I doubt we will eat there, standing in line just does not appeal to us anymore. It sucks to get old

Oh my credits are with Jet Blue never flew SW I have to be able to pick my seats ahead of time.

Sheila: LTT for dinner. I'm curious what our experts have to say. We've only ever been in once, but that was for lunch. It's "family style" at dinner, isn't it? I'm with you about having to leave the parks to go eat. As my husband would say, it's "too much faffing about."

Yes! The lounge is getting expanded and there will be a room refurb.

Was supposed to start this fall, but now will start Jan/Feb is the word.

I hadn't been too keen on trying the BC lounge, but with a nice new lounge and new rooms, I might be all

3 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

And, it can't come soon enough...this morning, I was awoken at 5:24 am, by what sounded like an explosion. I live on a dead end, cookie cutter cul-de-sac neighborhood, very quiet....

I looked out the window to see marked and unmarked PD vehicles, ambulances (all turned off and silent) and then SWAT And DEA armored vehicles...

FBI agents soon arrived on MY STREET...my quiet little street!

Well, FB was a buzz with my neighbors because we were all woken by the blast...

Turns out that one of our neighbors, one that has lived there for about 2 years and none of us knows...was taken down for drugs, weapons and money laundering!!!! It was a planned raid carried out before the sun rose...wow, just wow....

No one was really surprised though, it was a 20-something kid who owned the house (and even though he bought it foreclosed 2 years ago, it was still $210k paid in cash). Did some major reno's and kept it super nice, drove brand new Mercedes, etc....obviously something was going on. He worked for a big investment firm in Boston and was laundering the money through them....

Just goes to show....it can happen anywhere....

Finally turned the corner last night and starting to feel better. No appointments or errands today so sitting on the couch, catching up on life. Shhhh, don't tell anyone

sjs314: We actually took picky Mom to LTT for dinner. She loved it. We enjoyed it too. DH is a big eater so it worked well for him. It is very meat and potatoes and veggies. Old school family style offering 3 meats and lots of sides to pick from so picky eaters should find something. Dessert and beverage too. And we planned the timing so we could walk right out the back door to see the Spectromagic parade from LTT grounds. Oh and you'll feel like you are back home as it is VERY New England decor. Well except for the revolutionary costumes the servers wear.

Disneydreamin247: I imagine you saying "D***'s" in your best Beavis and Butthead voice and then laughing like this... ahuh-ahuh-ahuh!

Mousemommy1: BC with a refurb AND an expanded CL lounge sounds like "Gold Jerry, pure Gold!!!!!!!!" I'm putting BC CL way up there on my list under those circumstances for a trip late next year... plus I love the fishy hallway carpeting.

So my dad who swore he'd never go back to WDW again says to me yesterday that maybe he could convince mom to come with us for my bday trip and then he could give her that as a anniversary gift. He knows she likes it and she WILL NOT go anywhere without him anymore. Of course we'd love it if they came, but uhhhh, earth to dad... ADRs, ressies... I gotta dust off my best RC hat here and investigate. ..........Since DH and I just picked SSR to cross it off our list, we're not attached to our resort pick. So far, a SSR treehouse is available. Or ummmm... BLT has a 2-br villa available. ..........But I gotta see about that CG ressie for 2, though. I've made a CG ressie for March so it wouldn't be that much of a bummer. Well, yes it would. Hoop-de-doo would be nice with them for dinner. This is ALL subject to change, though and I am not cancelling any of my current "stuff" yet.

You are all too funny. I have to admit that I also laugh at the rather ambiguous reference. Especially when we pulled up and my dad proclaimed "that's a big D____'s!" I about wet my pants from laughing so hard, as did Daniel.

Not sure when the conference will be, other than it is being planned for summer. I hope I can even get off from work for it.
