Our little thread of BIG changes, the neverending saga of the Resort Changers

Miss, thankful that you escaped much of the wrath  And I totally understand about Miss M... my kids were the same. :flower3:

DD woke up from her nap the other day sobbing because she heard the rain and wind... :-/

:dumbo:Hi guys! :wave2:
I am still bummed out about the cancellation of Mickey's Backyard BBQ and having to change away from FWC. I know I am in the minority around the RC, but we've been looking so forward to it for a year now. :upsidedow I was looking forward to archery and horse-ing around and trail walking. But we really want to stay at FW as much as possible when we DO eventually stay there, so it just makes sense to put FW off to spring 2015.

Our remaining ADRs: CRT, ChefM, BOG, CG and Trails End are so good that we want to remain in the MK area. I have stayed at GF but DH has never stayed there. He enjoys trying new spots around WDW, so he convinced me (twisted my arm, really, I swear!) to make our anniversary trip change to GF. I just got off the phone with CRO. :goodvibes Sago has always appealed to me, so I requested for our lagoon view.

MM: Happy birthday to DD.

JanetB: Hi!!! CSR?? Oh boy, I am so very out of the loop! :rotfl:

Gwynne: An upcoming trip??? popcorn::

pas130: BC for Aug 2014 rocks!!! :cool1: Now that's more like it. :thumbsup2 The thought of a WDW-less summer for you kinda freaked me out!!!

sjs314: Sending continued best wishes for Bella. :flower3:

Dooney Bag Clubbers: Me too. ::yes:: Brown on brown leather shopper.

Things are good! We had a really smooth day today at Hollywood studios, everything seemed to fall into place. And we love the bands and our FP+. It has allowed us to stop running first thing in the morning to a park. We are sleeping later, enjoying breakfast in the lounge, swimming and taking our time getting to the parks. Still getting everything done that we want.

Seeing lots of crying children though and harassed looking parents. Rushing from thing to thing is just not something we do anymore.

So things are going well! Hitting bog for lunch tomorrow and magic kingdom for at least half the day. I am having trouble with one thing. I have been given the green light for a purse but I can't decide on Dooney and Burke or a Harvey's seatbelt bag! ;)
Sounds FABULOUS!!! I have to google Harvey's bag...I LOVE DISNEY DOONEYS!! Too much $$$ for me since I recently got myself a new Michael Kors

Hope she continues progressing.
Me too :grouphug:

We tried using a towel the first night but not since, to be honest we are both a bit afraid if we get her outside and then not able to get her back in without help and I really don't want to ask Ddil again to come over she seems so put out when we needed her help to and from the vets office last week.
 Continued Bella prayers Sheila :flower3:

Dooney!! I love my Haunted Mansion Dooney :)
OOOOOOOHHHHHH, pic please :goodvibes :wave2: Deena

Pas, my wonderful, amazing Yin to my Yang friend!! I laughed when you wrote this!! Of course we know you will be cha-cha-changing... doesn't mean you won't come full circle but we will be along for the ride!! and like your thinking on CL...know you love it and if it works great but having $$ for other stuff is good too!
You have rubbed off on me BFF, in a good way of course. Better to be practical when it comes to vacation...MUST-DO is to go to Disney, NICE BUT NOT NECESSARY CL...it really isn't worth it, especially with 2 rooms :upsidedow Speaking of saving money, I cancelled Neverland Club.Having 5 kids is a wee bit expensive when it comes to per child rates :crazy2: Can we afford it? Sure, but there is other things I'd rather spend it on...like slushies at WS since the kiddos will be with us :bitelip:

Oh Krystal, poor baby!! I am the same, you can find me hiding under my covers during a storm most likely sobbing

Ah GF :worship: I almost booked it for August, but it's $1000 more than BC for both rooms....and DH will not be pleased :rotfl: I LOVED FWC!!! Unfortunately we outgrew them :crowded: How sad is it that I can't stand going on my trip without a new one planned! :p

This was the day I got it :)

This is the one I got for our anniversary trip this past August. I also have a large one with the retro cartoon one at home that I got last year. I do love them both WAY more than any of my other purses!

Deena:thumbsup2 LOVE it!! And you are looking beautiful sweetie!

Oh Krystal!! Sorry that it slipped my mind you are in the Chicago area too. Poor baby, it's so frightening for many kids (and big kids too!).

Hi Magic!! :) congrats on booking GF! Wow, Your Richard Petty DH staying at the GF... :upsidedow Might you add dinner at Park Faire with those delightful step sisters?? :teeth:

:goodvibes oh sometimes I dislike practicallity... that's why we go so good together :flower3: And yes, it's certainly is a downer having to book 2 CL rooms. :scared: And slushies as a side benefit of cancelling the Neverland club is good...always gotta look to look at the positive! :thumbsup2

Oh might you journey to DTD in your travels Wed night? ::yes:: To a excellent Irish watering hole?? :goodvibes

Deena ... my friend, I'm agree with Pas, you are looking wonderful!! :flower3:

(oh, the bag's nice too :goodvibes)

Krystal :thumbsup2 So many Dooneys and I like them all!

We DO like DTD, perhaps a trip to Disney Quest is in order for the older ones and I can sneak little man out for a walk (he's not a fan of noise though):guilty: Maybe you can meet us at World of Disney by the Potato heads :goodvibes

We're in Central IL so yeah, it went through our area before heading north I think? We LOVED Park Faire for dinner with the stepsisters. I think it's on our must do list now, especially since buffets are so much better for the kids! And I still need to try one of the WS slushies!!

How is Disney Quest now?? I've heard mixed reviews...And it's been over 10 years since I've been!

I haven't been since DS22 was 16 (lol how sad I can't figure out what year that is but I am responsible to save people's lives) We have free tickets from a bonus feature from the no name travel agency...so if it's a bust it's okay...But I wouldn't pay current prices for it. I doubt it's much different since we've been:confused3

I am so happy! I just booked the bounce back offer for May! If I can keep this reservation this will be the most affordable trip ever! :faint:

POR May 8-16!

JanetB and pas130: Yup, I am with you on the resort thing. ::yes:: My quest is almost done, and then it will be time to spend hard earned dollars on something else. We'll probably stay more at our fave mods, values and maybe a occasional Epcot resort if we get a good discount. :thumbsup2. :goodvibes And I never even considered CL for some reason for GF. Unlike me but probably for the best. These prices are kinda ridiculous nowadays. ;)

JanetB: Funn-ily enough... DH will be doing the next level of Richard Petty in March! I got him that as a gift from Santa. He doesn't know yet. :drive: Since we talked I can't get the picture of DH walking through the GF lobby past the piano player wearing his racing fire suit!!!! :lmao:

disdreamin247: Hmmmm... my post #666... on AHS night!! How fitting! :scratchin

Dooneys congrats ladies, they look wonderful :thumbsup2. I just ordered the Lesportsac Minnie pattern. Have a few of the Small World ones.

Shiela continued wishes/prayers for Bella. She is always on my mind.

Janet B did I PM you my cell phone? Can't remember, lol!

Candace happy Birthday to dd princess:

Krystal poor kid, these storms are super scary. I can't believe the devastation. TV pics are unbelievable  glad all I have to worry about are earthquakes!

Last time we were at DQ it was so crowded we didn't get to do anything. Horrendous waits. I'm glad it was on my AP, and didn't pay admission.

Pas :beach: love BC!!

Magic also love GF :goodvibes. We had a great pool view in Boca Chica

Jennyjinx congrats on BB for POR. We'll be there in January!

Linda how are you feeling?

Marie hope you're not freezing up there!!
