Via AI - Pending PayPal Rewards points typically appear in your account within 1-14 days after completing a qualifying purchase or activity, and they can remain pending for up to 90 days before they are available for redemption.

Basically this means we won't know for sure if the paypal deal works out until after its over Hopefully the "up to" doesn't take the full 90...

First time using it with Disney, but other stores usually take 45-60 days for me.

No, the limit is actually $1,250 per user. There are some reports of people getting more with some workarounds, but I haven’t seen anything reliable.

The 1.5B points is for the entire promotion. When that runs out is over ($15 millions).

I just read through the Offer Terms and skimmed the Rewards Agreement on PayPal.com and it actually does not say anywhere on there it is a cap at $1250 per person, it says in multiple spots transaction, I also ran the entire page (both) through AI and it concurs. The regular 5% period has a cap of $5k in spending but this special period does not have a limit beyond $1250 per transaction. It DOES say the part about the 1.5B for the entire promotion though, so it it runs out it will end early.

Update: The 10% Disney Store cash back points that were pending for me yesterday after placing an order for physical cards have now converted to zero. Here’s hoping the pay in 4 points go through.

My physical ones are also zero, but I still have pending points for my e-gift cards.

I haven’t used mine either but the last couple of times you could only buy three $50 cards and my offers are for $250. I don’t remember if it is a one time purchase or multiple purchases up to $250

It's more than one purchase. I did 4 orders, two for 100 to get the gc and two for 25 because they won't let you combine the 25s. Maybe I could have done two 125.

I'm ok with the bb gc because I'm planning yo buy an air fly, just want to see if they go on sale anywhere that makes it better. Otherwise I need 1 more air tag and could also get batteries.

Just as another DP, Paypal is showing my pending points still there for both the pay in 4 and the Disney Store. However it seems there has been another Disney store entry above the one with points pending that says 0 points. Did not see that until just checking now. Maybe it's just a formality on their end?

It stays active. No need to reactivate (the 10% for Disney store needs to be reactivated).

I made that mistake! Luckily it was only a $100 DGC purchase but ugh! Glad it let you purchase a decent amount though! Hope all your points post!

Yes, I have purchased more Disney e-gift cards from the Disney Store and they are showing pending points. The terms and conditions say per transaction, nothing about $1250 per person.

Edit to add: I would probably do a smaller amount and see how long it takes for points to post before making another huge amount. I believe someone above has done a couple $1250 though. Not sure how long points take to post fully

I read through the terms and I also fed it through chatGPT and it seems that is true of the original offer but not the 20% off. Wish points would post for people quickly so we would know for sure!! I just checked my PayPal and now it only shows one small transaction ($100 DGC) with pending points and not the first one for $1250 or the second DGC order I did. My husband did a $500 DGC on his PP and it still shows pending. the anxiety of all of it is killing me!

I’m trying to buy e-gift cards at Disneystore.com. It is showing a 9.95 shipping charge. I tried the free shipping code but it’s not taking it away. I’m not paying $10 to get gift cards sent to my email. How do I get rid of this?

First purchase - $1250 gift cards & points posted as pending once gift cards emailed.

Second Purchase - pay later showed I could do $900 on the home screen so I did $900 order. Points posted after gift card shipped.

Paid off the pay later in full for the $900 and it took ~ 4 hrs to show at that home screen banner that i had now $600 pay later available credit.

Third purchase - $1150 so despite the $600 thing I was able to put a larger order through and it approved the pay later 4. So this order is now pending.

I think I am done with $3300 for hopefully 30% off or worst case i bet the 10% holds up + maybe the second transactions get reduced to the 5% rate in terms which still isnt bad. Worth a flyer!

Can you clarify something. Once you payed in full the pay later in 4 debt, all the points that were pending became available right away? If that is the case I will just pay off the last 3 installments to get my points ASAP
