~Our June '09 adventure~ I'm home! Started TR 7/2

I guess I have to answer this since it was my question! LOLOL
I think it would be Kona breakfast. We always have a great time here and I love the food... plus the coffee is Da BOMB. (and I don't even like coffee!! LOL)

I always like when DW picks out Christmas ornaments with the year on them. Or I like the photo books that we put all our pictures in from our trips.

MY QUESTION:::Which night time show/parade is your favorite?

WOW 2 souvenirs???? I hope you don't have many more trips planned in the near future!!!!! LOLOL

Kona is great!

I love picking out the Christmas ornaments or what photo album we're going to use too!

Haha, hopefully Jill doesn't bring home another one in July!

My answer to your question: I LOVE Wishes, Spectro, and Fantasmic. Haha. I love them in that order. I just never got into Illuminations.

Great answer I love Cadillacs :lovestruc

I drive an 08 Black Chrysler Aspen I am very happy with my car I bought last year in July well I didn't have enough money to make payments for an Escalade:sad2:

Thanks! Oooh. nice car!

Yeah I am very excited I will not be switching cars anytime soon. I think I got my dream car. I have always been into that kind of cars.

I was deciding on

Cadillac Escalade

Lincoln Navigator

or

Chrysler Aspen

Well I found the Aspen for a very low price when the gas was very high and ppl where not buying big cars. Now I can't live with out it.

1 month from today...

1 month from today will be June 22, which means IT'S THE DAY WE ARRIVE AT WDW! :woohoo:

I'll wake up way before everyone else because I'm so antsy. We'll hurry and get on the road.

We'll stop in Ocala to eat at our usual breakfast spot of Bob Evans, which is right next to Hooters. Haha.

I'll be too excited to eat all my food and make everyone else hurry too. Haha.

We'll get back on the road for the last leg of the driving! Woo.

We'll get closer and closer to WDW and start seeing billboards for different WDW rides/parks and I'll start freaking out.

We'll approach the WDW gates and I'll start screaming at every WDW bus and monorail we see. Sis usually videotapes this.

We'll finally get to the OKW entrance and hear "Welcome home!" :cloud9: We'll park while Dad and I go into the lobby to check us in. Dad goes to the front desk and I go to grab all the park maps. We hardly use them, but I still like to look at them. Ha.

Usually our room is ready, so we'll head to our room and unload the car. Our groceries that we pre-ordered are usually not there yet, but that's okay with us because we won't be needing them yet.

After practically throwing our suitcases in the room (ha!), we speedwalk to the bus stop. We'll wait anxiously for the MK bus to arrive.

FINALLY, one will come and I'll be dancing. :dance3: Eventually, we'll make it to the MK area and go under the bridge with the water that goes inbetween the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. We'll go by the Contemporary and I'll say hi. Then.....we'll hear the music! We're at the MK!

We'll get off at the bus stop and make our way over to our Walk Around the World stone because we walk right over it anyways to get to the entrance.

Dad and B/F will go through the no bags entrance, while Mom, Sis, and I wait in line to get our bags "searched". Then, we'll make our way to Guest Services to renew our Annual Passes.

With those in hand, we'll make our way through our first finger scanning of the trip.

I'll speedwalk under the train station, past everyone, and onto Main Street so I can see the Castle. I'll stand there and wait for the rest of the family to catch up to me. We'll all look at it and smile. We're finally back "home"!

Since the people mover is closed, we'll probably ride the train all the way back around to the front while deciding what we want to do.

We'll probably head to the Haunted Mansion next so B/F can see all the new changes.

Towards the night, we'll make our way over to AK. It's evening EMH's there and we LOVE riding EE at night! We'll eat at Rainforest Cafe (yes we just ate there in Nashville, but it's good!). Then, we'll stay there for the night.

We'll head back to the room, excited that our trip is finally starting. And as I'll lay my head down, I'll smile knowing that I'm back in WDW again.

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from lizet313!

If you could go to WDW during any of the holidays, which one would you pick and why?

WOW I read your post and I felt like I was there doing that with you I did not drive to get there for my first trip but I was excited to see the big sign and everything I think I would of jumped put if I could to get to where I needed to go good thing I didn't because I would of been lost it was my first time there lol:rotfl:

I love your update. Your plans sound good I need to ride the train when I go. Ak at night that is good I haven't done it another thing to my to do list. LOL:rotfl:

Now to celebrate 3 questions yey :dance3:

Ok I guess I am into this game of hard questions because I have 2 favorite Holidays.

I love Halloween and Christmas

I would probably go for Christmas because of my mom she loves to get in the spirit all the lights and wonderful colors. You should of seen our house last time. It had lights in the roof with an inflatable Santa on a motorcycle. The yard had lights all over the place with an arc a snowman Mickey dressed as Santa reindeers the windows get decorated with of course a Mickey in the middle coming out of a chimney. We have a huge tree with lots of lights but what my mom loves the most is decorating the place where she puts her baby Jesus and the whole deal. I don't know if mom would be up to traveling to Disney and leave all of that behind:rotfl: which is why I would go with Halloween it is so cool and I have seen pictures of both so I am back to the beginning I don't know what to choose. LOL:rotfl2:

I know I can never make a decision.

My question to you hmm

If you could add something(one) to the Magic of your Disney Trip what would it be? (it could be anything a person, a thing, or a place)

Aw, thanks. So you like my 1 month from today thing?

I LOVE Christmas! I'd love to see your house then!

My answer to your question: Honestly, I just can't wait to take the little guy next year (hopefully). It's so much fun seeing him get excited and learning. He talks SO much now. Today...he's at the daycare. I was with my grandma and we drove by the backyard and they were outside! So we kinda parked, hiding behind another house, to watch them. Haha. We always want to see what he's like playing with other kids without him seeing us! He was here all day/alot of the night on Wednesday and I already miss him terribly.

I commend you and your family for being able to do a sit-down breakfast the day you make it to WDW. I'd force everyone to grab something FAST so we could make get on the road ASAP! :lmao:

Aw, I'm jealous!! I've never been to a pm EMH at AK before. I desperately want to ride EE at night. You better ride it at least five times for me!! :goodvibes

If you could go to WDW during any of the holidays, which one would you pick and why?

I've been during most holidays, and my favorite has to be Christmas time. There is nothing comparable. The decor and ambiance cannot be matched! The Osborne Spectacle of Lights is AMAZING, and I nothing beats "snow" on Main Street. :cloud9: It's the BEST!!!!!!!

It's hard to sit down and eat breakfast! I barely eat and if I do eat, it's really fast!

You HAVE to get to AK for an evening EMH sometime!

I really want to see the Osborne Lights!

Yes I do I like that plan it keeps me excited I have to entertain myself with something waiting until March comes.

One month from today Great idea. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah I will post some pics in December of what our house looks like this year I will get my SLR this week coming up so I am reading and I need to start practicing soon so I can have good Christmas pics.

:rotfl:You parked hiding behind a house :rotfl2: aww I know I would probaly see myself doing that. So cute. So does he play well with others?

Aw thanks! And..xoktnox will be doing updates on here when I text her while I'm down there! :)

Okay you better take some!

Haha, yeah we drove by to drop some stuff off at his house (which is a few backyards away from the daycare) and saw them outside. We just would love to be a fly on the wall someday and see how he is. They say that he plays real well with the others. There's this girl named Claire there and he calls her "Claire-berry" and we have no clue why. They were doing something on the little tables outside so he'll probably have something to bring home and put on the fridge again! :)

I swear, someone is conspiring against me. Every time we're at WDW, the evening EMH hours have either just happened the day before we arrived OR are scheduled for the day after we leave -- no joke! EVERY TIME!!!! :headache: One day, I WILL ride EE at night.

You have to go at Christmas time. It really is stunning! :lovestruc

I forgot to add a question for you...

What is your favorite WDW gift shop?

Haha, I hope you get to sometime!

We did go over Christmas back in 2001, but I didn't know near as much as I know now thanks to the DIS!

My answer to your question: I LOVE the World of Disney store! Yes, you can get lost in it and yes, you can spend hours upon hours in it, but it's so much fun!

Haha, hopefully Jill doesn't bring home another one in July!

Why ever not? I'd be perfectly happy if she did!
This one can be a boy, if she wants. I got my order for two girls, so after that, boys or girls or fine. :)

I would like for her to have a son, but having grown up with two brothers, she may just decide to stop before the torture starts.

I'm glad we'll be getting updates while you're on your trip. The live check-ins always make me feel like I am there as much as I can be from 700 miles away.

Halloween and Christmas are both awesome in Disney World. We've been at Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter week, although not Easter Sunday, as well as for the MNSSHP stuff, but not on Halloween night. We're doing New Year's Eve this year, and we're thinking about Mother's Day for next year. We're working on doing every special day or holiday at least once. Christmas would be first, in my opinion, with Thanksgiving and Halloween 2nd and 3rd. The decorations, special parades and shows, etc. are all second to none, as is usual with Disney.

If you could go to WDW during any of the holidays, which one would you pick and why?

I love this post!!! I feel like I am there with you...oh wait, I practically will be...our 1 month is TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hardly stand it!

If we could go to WDW during any of the holidays, I would have to say Halloween...only because for Christmas is has to be cold and snowy for it to feel like Chirstmas...but I would love to go for MNSSHP one day, being a teacher, it probably won't ever happen, but who knows, right? I think it would be fun to get all dressed up and roam MK too!

Ok so I think the last question is what holiday would we visit for and it would DEFINITELY be Christmas and New Years, combined trip LOL is that cheating?

Why ever not? I'd be perfectly happy if she did!

Haha I just meant not right NOW, I mean Bella was just born. Jill needs at least a little break. lol.

Of course you'll be getting updates! I love reading them on other people's TR's so of course I had to do it. Plus, I loved being the one updating for xoktnox!

I think it'd be fun to go during Halloween and dress up. Plus, with the pics I've seen, the parade looks awesome!

I think it'd be fun to dress up too!

Whoa.....I never thought of that! You are clever. I don't think that's cheating! Just very smart! :thumbsup2

1 month from today...

1 month from today will be June 23rd; our first full day! We'll probably sleep in a bit since the driving does wear us out!

Then, we'll wake up to the smell of Dad's coffee that he started when he woke up. Sis, B/F, and I will get ready while Mom starts making us breakfast. That's one of the reasons we love staying in villas. It feels so much more at home eating a nice breakfast, plus it saves us $ on not eating breakfast out.

Sis is usually the last one ready, so all of us will have eaten and everything by the time she's done. But, Mom and Dad said that she won't be doing that this year. :rotfl:

While eating, we'll be watching Stacey on t.v. Of course, it's a new one called "Must Do Disney". I watched it on youtube, and it's quite upsetting. Stacey isn't her usual hyper self. WDWRocksMySocks and I are going to start a petition to get the old show back! Ha.

After eating, B/F and I will go out onto the patio to put our shoes on and take in the view. We'll also talk about what things we want to do today.

Finally, we'll leave and head to the main building. When we get there, we'll go down to the dock and wait for the DTD boat, because that's where we're going today!

Eventually, it will come and we'll get on. We'll take pictures of OKW as we go by and eventually come around the corner to go past SSR. Then, we'll make it past that and finally to DTD!

We'll get off the boat and head to the Christmas store; our first stop every year. We'll take our picture by the snow statues of Goofy and Pluto under the "Happy Holidays" sign. Then, we'll go in the store. Sis, B/F, and I each get to pick out an ornament for the year. When we get home, Mom writes our names and the year somewhere on the ornament. Then, we get to pick one out as a family.

What's also fun about staying on property is being able to send stuff back to the room! It saves us so much carrying!

After the Christmas store, we usually just start walking and go in whatever stores appeal to us. Of course those include: Team Mickey, the Roxy store connected to that, and the World of Disney store. After the World of Disney store, we'll have to go to the Lego store for B/F.

Then, we'll head to the Margarita stand to get drinks. We'll find a table by the water, but in the shade! This was one of the highlights of our 2001 trip with the grandparents and uncle.

Eventually, we'll make our way over to Planet Hollywood to eat. We haven't eaten in here in a few years, so we wanted to make a return trip back there.

After eating, we'll head to a bus stop and wait for the Epcot bus. It's evening EMH's there, so that's where we'll be for the night.

When we get there, we'll take our usual pictures with Spaceship Earth in the background. Then, we'll head onto Spaceship Earth because B/F hasn't seen the new changes yet.

After SE, I have no clue what we'll do. I know we'll eventually make it on Test Track, The Seas with Nemo, and Soarin'.

Then, we'll head back to the room and call it a night. We usually sit and watch Stacey for awhile and eat snacks before going to sleep.

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from jewels1916!

What character would you want to be/play if you were a CM?

OMG your day sounds sooooo appealing to me! I want to be at WDW :guilty:

Anyways, if I could play any character as a CM i think I would either want to be one of the princesses (probably Cinderella or Aurora because of my blonde hair) or a streetmosphere actor in DHS. How fun to just play around and be silly and make people laugh all day. :thumbsup2
