I'm hoping that is what they plan on doing to Space Mtn at WDW! That would be great!

Question of the Day...

When arriving at the MK, do you go to the left side (Adventureland/Frontierland/Liberty Square) or the right side (Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, ToonTown) of the park first?

Back in January, we went straight to Fantasyland. We did Dumbo first (we used what the UG calls the "Chuck Bubba" method so Maddie could ride twice) and then did everything else. We always grab FP's for Peter Pan because the line gets so long!

We've only been to AK once and it was on our last trip in January! We went right to KS. We weren't in a hurry to get to EE since we knew we'd be using the single rider line. We only grabbed FP's for Dinosaur.

Since I leave in 12 days, I have to ask...What are some must-have things you bring with you to the parks?

Water bottles, sunscreen, autograph book (for Madison), sunglasses, trip journal, some sort of Disney book for Madison (something to do while we swap off on rides she's too little for)....that's about all we carry with us. Oh yeah! PONCHOS!!!!

Well when I first went we headed to the Safari Ride first because that is the one thinf my traveling buddy wanted to do. We did get fast passes for EE and some I forgot right now.

I take zip lock bags, my camera, $$, and rm/ hotel information (it was my first time I thought I was going to get lost LOL) Sunblock protection.

You're at the MK...and can only ride one Mountain...which one do you choose (Space, Big Thunder, Splash) out of the "Triple Mountain Whammy" (as Stacy says)?

Water
Hand sanitizer
Mini bottle of sunblock
Sunglasses
Room key, credit card, cash, ID (for drinks around the world )
Lip balm
Cell
Camera
Advil
Minnie ears!!!!

At AK we usually go to EE and someone gets us all fastpasses as the rest of us wait in line (yeah I know bad, line cutting and all but usually we're still outside of the building after they come with the fastpasses, we wait until they are just about at the fastpass machine before we get in line). After we ride EE then we walk over for a safari!


In my backpack I usually bring
sunglasses
wallet
room card/ticket
water bottle (I use the crystal light packets because I hate plain water)
autograph book (just in case!!!)
camera
cell phone
tissues (I have bad allergies!)
some meds (headache stuff, allergy pills)
a thin sweatshirt (sometimes the restaurants are soooo cold and I hate being cold while I'm eating!)
at night my light up tiara!!!


Oh and only 12 days!!!!! How exciting!!!!

I can't believe how close we are! I still need to pack! I've been BUSY with the little guy and working. We also have to take our change jars to the bank! Can't wait to see how much we saved up! Then, we have to go to the post office and tell them to hold our mail/newspapers until we get back. We also set up some lights and radios on timers the night before so it looks like someone's home while we're gone. Oh, I just thought of this..we need to get batteries for our hand-held fans!

Does single rider line go faster?

We used it for both EE and RnRC and I think it went very quickly. There were only about 5-10 people in front of me when I entered each of the lines. Whenever there is a party of 3, they just use the single riders to fill the empty seats. You don't get to ride with your friends or family, but it's no big deal to us. The only down side is, you don't get to see all the cool stuff in the queue. At EE, you pretty much get in line right next to the gift shop that EE exits you into. Just a queue with ropes..that's all you get. I figure once Madison is big/daring enough to ride these big rides, we'll be standing in the regular queue. For now, single rider is great for us!

Wow that sounds nice! But I know what you mean..I hate how fast pass lines skip all the cool queue stuff!

Space always makes me laugh. Really loud. And then that makes Sis and Mom laugh too.

We went to the Pirates first right after Jack Sparrow was added!

I can't believe how close we are getting to our trips! I'll be thinking of you while I'm there! I'm getting SO antsy!
