Attraction of the Day...

Disney Quest

Another one we haven't done before. What all is in there?

Hey girl! I haven't checked in in a while. :confused3 I hope all is well!

kk on to the AotD:

Disney quest- I've done this once on our choir trip in 2002. It was fun but I wouldn't do it again. I just remember very long lines for everything. Ohhh and I remember we couldn't find the exit. The place is like 5 floors and you start by going up to the top (you have no choice since the enterance is up the elevator). But yea we searched and searched for the exit. :sad2:

Ohhh and I just love Cirque! Seen it twice now at DTD and one of the traveling shows that came to a city near by. The tickets at DTD are expensive but totally worth it! Such an awesome show!

Whoa, 5 floors?! And you have to go up an elevator?! :scared:

OOOh it's so much fun!! I love it. You guys should try it. If you are into video games and stuff like that you will love it.

I love the lounge where you can go online. When I went nobody was in there so it was so nice and peaceful.

I've never done Disney Quest either! I'm sure that my DS and DH would LOVE to spend time in a HUGE arcade.

Yea I don't think you would like the elevator part. I do remember there being a movie of somesort it though. I think the genie was in it.

Yeah...I don't think I'd love the elevator either! Oh that's cool. You don't see the Genie a lot at WDW!

I do remember this one ride thing that you get to make up and it's a virtual rollercoaster or something..but anyways, I remember NSYNC going on it. :rotfl: I saw it in a video or something.

Attraction of the Day...

The Walt Disney World Railroad All Aboard!!

Okay, I LOVE riding the train at the MK. It's a tradition of ours to ride it all the way around once on our first day there. I know the spiel by heart. I also love singing along with Pocohantas on the way to Toontown. :rotfl: I love listening to the little kids that they pick to yell "All Aboard" over the loud speaker. :goodvibes Hearing the train whistle is definately one of the things I love about being at the MK and makes me feel like I'm really at WDW.

My Kids Love the Walt Disney World Railroad, it is a favorite of ours.

We haven't gone on the railroad yet:sad2:

Juliana has never asked... plus we like walking up and down Main St.;)

Oh you'll have to try it once! Especially from Frontierland to Toontown! Pocohantas sings and there's Native American scenes. It's pretty cool!

YAY- for less than 2 months now!! :cool1:

Disney Quest

Holy smokes?!!! I can't believe you haven't done this! For as many times that you have been there- crazy! We went and DH and I love it. Mostly DH but its a good thing to do if it raining.. but if you don't get into arcades.. then you might not like it. I remember going the first time and we were AMAZED by the elevator. I won't say more you are surprised. Then when we went to the arcade concession or food floor- we were surprised with how good the food was. My DH loved how when you played racing games and stuff- you are actually racing other people playing- while you're driving the cars.. its fun. You should try it. :thumbsup2

Cirque du Soleil

Well sad story- my DH and I have ALWAYS wanted to go to this.. I love theatre shows.. and so we decided for our 1 year that we could for sure. I even got on the website to buy them WAY in advance.. and guess what?!! During the time that we are going there are NO shows.. idk why- maybe its the month or time that they get off. We were really disappointed! So I guess MAYBE NEXT TIME!!

Whoa you wrote lots! :)

Why were you amazed with the elevator?! I gotta know these things!

Wow, that's weird there's no shows while you're there! :confused3

Yeah, I won't be doing that one.

As for the Walt Disney World Railroad, well that's just classic Walt. He loved his trains, so I know that is something he would be glad to know other people were enjoying.

Cirque - Jill and John have seen it, and everyone seems to love it, but I think I could only watch all that bouncing around for a short time. I've seen it on TV shows, and even after just the little blip about it, I'm satisfied. I think it's cool, but I think I would like it better if it was about the same length as like Festival of the Lion King or other WDW shows. That's just me personally. I know most people like the big show of it.

Haha, glad we're on the same page about Disney Quest! Me and you are definately not made for DQ if there's an elevator involved!

The Walt Disney Railroad is so nice!

I know what you mean about Cirque. It's cool that people like it, it's just not my cup of tea.
