OK here I go…I am catching up as promised! Sorry to leave this monster of a post on your thread but I just couldn’t resist being a part of all this fun!
Big Thunder- My favorite memory here has to our trip last month. We rode this the day we got engaged and for some reason it hit me while we were sitting on this ride! I was in the car with DF, making the climb up the big hill and the sun was setting and the view was so pretty and I realized just how completely happy I was to be in Disney with my Fiance. Weird place to get all sappy, I know!!
Soarin- Our January 08 trip was the first time DF rode this. I love riding things with people when it’s their first time to see their reactions. When the golf ball came zooming by the screen, DF ducked!

He thought they launch actual golf balls at you! Too funny, of course I had to tease him about that when we rode it this year!
The Backlot Tour- This is another one where my favorite memory is riding with a first timer. I went with my cousin about 10 years ago, and she had never been to Disney period before and she totally though Catastrophe Canyon was real! We also got really soaked on it this day and were cracking up the entire time, it was just so much fun.
Dinosaur- The first time I ever rode this I freaked out and jumped practically out of my seat when the carnotaurus jumps out the first time. I still kinda jump, he is so scary lookin, and my fam teases me about it a lot.
Buzz Lightyear- My best memory ever was the first time we rode this when it first opened. My family was all calling out their really high scores at the end of the ride, excited that we did so great, until we get to my brother who yells out “I got zero!”. He was sooo upset, and to this day he never wins at Buzz. For some reason he can’t figure it out. He blames it on the gun being broken, but we know it’s an excuse!
Spaceship Earth-My best memory of SE is from my very first trip to Epcot when I was 6. My grandparents took me and my aunt, and my siblings were babies so my parents stayed back at our villa with them. I felt so special getting to have my grandma’s undivided attention for the day. This was the first thing we rode, and I loved it. Still do!
Beauty and the Beast-I haven’t seen this show in years but I am dying to go back! I remember the first time I saw it, watching the beast become a prince at the end. I think I teared up a little! This is my all time favorite Disney movie and that is my best memory of this show because it is so true to the movie.
Expedition Everest-My best memory of this was riding it for the first time when it very first opened. I screamed my head off when the Yeti jumps out at you. Notice a trend here? I freak out when things jump out at me even as an adult! I love this ride so much though and they did a really good job designing the Yeti.
Carousel of Progress-My favorite memory of this ride happened during our Aug. 06 trip. There was an asian family on the ride with us who decided after the first scene that they wanted to get off. I guess the ride was just not entertaining them. So of course the CM tells them to sit down. But they didn’t speak English so they kept wandering around the theater trying to find an exit! The poor CM was chasing after them trying to get them to sit back down, it was very funny but also kinda annoying because I love this attraction and their antics were so distracting!
Test Track- My favorite memory of this ride happened on one of our trips when this ride first opened. It was the first week of December and the parks were dead, so there was no wait. The CM let us ride twice without getting off because there were like 5 people in line.

This had never happened to us on TT before, such a nice treat!
Fantasmic-On one of our trips, we did the dinner package and ended up with a front row seat for this show. It was a great view, the characters seemed so close up. I totally had tears in my eyes, I love this show!
Festival of the Lion King-I’ve only seen this show once, but I loved the part with the monkeys! It made me want to go see Cirque de Soleil because their tricks are so cool. I loved watching the acrobatics and I love all of the crowd interactions. The music was so impressive too!
