Great pictures from the show! My sister and I were going to go when it was here last weekend but never did. Looks like you had fun!

Looks fun! We just saw Let's Celebrate, and it was very cute!

That looks wonderful. We went and saw Nemo on Ice a bit ago. It was nice too, but I would rather see the princess one. I hope they eventually make it my way. So far they are not scheduled to.

It really was a great show! We had such a nice time

Love the update! Sorry Alice and Maddie didn't turn out the way you wanted it to I know how it feels when you plan on something and it doesn't work out.
Can't wait to hear more

Unfortunately there is a worse incident later in the trip, but looking back we had a wonderful trip and these incident's just make for an exciting trip report

I promised I haven't forgotten about this trip report! The problem is I'm Olympics addict and it's interferring with the Dis I can't make any promises this week - but I'll try to get an installment done soon!

I left off drinking my slush and leaving world showcase. I finished my slush as we arrived back into Future world. We had fastpasses for Soarin’ so we took our first ride of the trip over California. This ride was one of Maddie’s favorite the last trip and it was this time also. Tricia loved it as well. After Soarin’ we met up with these fellows:

After meeting Chip and Dale we headed to Innoventions to get our Disney Visa picture taken. Now if we hadn’t decided to leave early – we wouldn’t have been able to get this done because we weren’t going to be at Epcot at the right time again. So, another reason deviating from the plan turned into a good thing! For those who don’t know – if you have a Disney Visa – they have a special meet and greet at Innoventions . You get time with a couple of the big 5 and you’re supposed to get a free 5X7. The issue there though is you have to get it at the Epcot camera center and the same day. It takes a few hours too – so since we were on our way out when we did this – we didn’t get the 5x7. You can get all the pictures on your photopass though – so I was fine not getting the print.

After our time with Mickey and Pluto we headed back to Pop. We rested until around 6:15 and then freshened up for our dinner at Chef Mickey’s.

Yes I am and proud of it

The hours for the pictures are posted by the doorway - right near the firetruck. I think it's 1:30 - 4:00.

I left off with us resting back at Pop before our 7:30 ADR at Chef Mickey’s. We rested until about 6:15, freshened up and headed to the bus. We had an uneventful bus ride to Magic Kingdom and from there we decided to hop on the monorail to get to Chef Mickey’s. I took this picture of the Grand Floridian from the monorail platform:

We arrived at Chef Mickey’s around 7:15.

We got our picture taken, but didn’t purchase it. We only had a short wait until we were seated. The characters arrived very quickly. First off was the big guy himself:

Seated at the table next to us were two girls, in their early 20’s I’d say. They were celebrating one of the girl’s birthdays. I’m guessing that they were part of the College Program, based on their age and considering it wasn’t a college break time. Any way Donald was coming next, but he stopped at their table first and he took a liking to one of the girls. So when he came to our table, I told him I was going to tell Daisy on him! He was so funny, acting like he was begging me not too and acting all embarrassed! Too fun!

Next was Pluto – he was a lot of fun! (I noted that but didn’t write in my notes exactly what he was doing that was so funny. Little did I know what a procrastinator I was going to be on this report.) I love the way Pluto has to hold the autograph books!

Next came Minnie, Maddie’s shirt has Mickey on it and Minnie really liked it.

Last but not least was Goofy:

I remember thinking that this was the most mellow I had ever seen Goofy. Pluto was the wild one that night.

I had read some not so great reviews of Chef Mickey’s since the remodel – enough that those who were with me on the pretrip report may remember I considered cancelling. I’m glad I didn’t because the food was decent enough and the character interaction was really good. It’s more about the characters, than a gourmet meal anyway – but we enjoyed the meal. The only bad thing we noted was that the beef didn’t have much taste – but that was it. We had great service as well.

After dinner we hopped back on the monorail and took the loop around to the different resorts. Once we got back to Magic Kingdom we were able to get a bus right away back to Pop. We were back to the resort by 9:15. We just sat back and relaxed the rest of the evening. We had a wake-up call for Animal Kingdom the next morning.

I just have to show off my dancer! She had her recital last night and did such a good job. They danced to "Celebration" and "Hoe Down Throw Down"

NICE UPDATE!!! For a second, I thought u meant you had a 7:15am ADR and was like hm..what lol. I got it after that lol. My friends and I ate at CM when we were on the CP. Last year when we had our discount coupons, that was one of the meals we chose and had a late 8pm ADR but it was totally worth it and we had a blast!!!

Looks great! I really want to try Chef Mickey's - almost everyone who went to it sounded like they loved it - sometimes it seems a little off, but it really is about the characters.
