Our Halloween Pop adventure trip report 10/25-11/1/09 Animal Kingdom #3 6/28 pg.19

Glad you enjoyed Princess and the Frog! I can't wait to see it. :thumbsup2

LOL! We did almost the same thing.
Thursday was Claire's b-day and on Sunday we took her and 5 friends to see it. We went to pizza hut after then. They all were really godd as well, and enjoyed it. I liked it, but I don't think it was one of Disney's best. Not there worse tho either. I dod that it was back to the old style animation.

I didn't realize Claire was a December birthday too! And just one day earlier! Cool!

I got my photopass CD’s today :woohoo: – so I’ll put the pictures from the morning up now. One positive to going so slow on this TR is that I don't have much catch up to do with my photopass pics :lmao:

So I left off as we were about to enter Pixie Hollow. Pixie Hollow is super cute, but I was picturing it bigger. We had never visited the judges tent before, so I really had no idea. The interaction with the Fairies is very cute.

I have a video I’ll post a link to, but the background noise makes it hard to hear – but you can hear the conversation if you concentrate.
We walked into Pixie Hollow and were immediately welcomed by Fawn:

Then it was time to be heading back to the mainland.

After Pixiehollow, we stopped at the gift shop and got Maddie her ears for this trip:

Then we stopped for a tour of Minnie’s house:

After Minnie’s house Maddie, Tricia and I took two turns on Goofy’s Barnstormer. Maddie loved it and she said she wanted to try some bigger rollercoasters. She had ridden it on our other two trips and liked it too, but she needed to be reminded. We were done with Toontown now, so we headed back to Fantasyland for Winnie the Pooh. Before we got there though we spotted these two:

Now it was time for:

We didn’t wait long for the ride and we enjoyed our time in the 100 acre wood, which was a bit longer than usual because the ride stopped a couple of times. From there we used our fastpasses on Peter Pan and then introduced Tricia to the classic that is “It’s a Smallworld”. Maddie loved it again, of course. After that we decided to head over to Splash Mountain for a fastpass and then try Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Maddie was feeling brave from Goofy’s, so she, Tricia and I got in line (Doug doesn’t really do rollercoasters anymore – he was never a huge fan and now he has high blood pressure and a murmur – so it’s not worth it). I don’t remember what the wait time was supposed to be, but it wasn’t a walk on – maybe 20 minutes. We were about halfway through the line when they came through and said the ride had broken down and we all had to clear out. By this point it was getting pretty hot and it wasn’t time for SplashMountain yet, so we got some icecream and caught the end of Tiana’s Riverboat show:

Then it was time for us to ride Splash Mountain. When we went in 2007 Maddie loved this ride, so she was up for riding it. Tricia wasn’t so sure, but she went through the line with us. When it came time to get on, she decided she didn’t want to ride it, so she walked through and waited for us below. Maddie and I were in the front of the boat, Doug was behind us. Maddie was nervous the whole ride and really wasn’t a fan of the dark part of the ride right before the drop – then the drop came. She was so NOT A FAN! Like I said, she loved it last time, but hated it this time. I think it may be because we were in front – she was not in front in ’07 when we went. Here is a blurry picture of our ride photo – it’s hard to see, but you can tell by Maddie’s face, she was not having fun.

We didn’t get too drenched, but it didn’t matter, because I had planned it for our last ride before leaving the park. At this point it was 1:30, so we headed for the bus to go back to Pop and rest. We had ADR’s at Biergarten in Epcot for 6:30 and with the lack of sleep Maddie got the night before, a nap was very important. We waited about 20 – 25 minutes for a bus and were headed back for a rest. When we got back to the room, we got Maddie a quick snack and got her to sleep – thankfully she slept a good 2 hrs. Doug and I also rested and then I got up and walked around the resort a bit to check out the view. All in all a great start to our trip!

Up next: Epcot – German food and Illuminations!

Great update! Your photopass pictures turned out really cute and it looks like you had fun in Pixie Hollow.

Maddie's mouse ears are pretty cool too. :thumbsup2

Great update. Love the Photopass pictures. I have never seen a picture of Terrance before, is he new there now?
You video comes up as private, so I can't see it.

Yes, I think he was new in October when the new movie came out. I wondered about that, I guess I'll change it.

I changed the settings on the video - so go ahead and try it again!
