Yay I'm glad Emma enjoyed Soarin as it sure is a great ride. Turtle Talk with Crush is hilarious! I'm glad you all enjoyed it but a bummer about the craziness over Bruce.

Thats great that Emma loved Soarin. We gotta tell our kids what they want to hear to get them to try the rides. I remember River's first time Thunder Mountain I told him there were 2 sides with 2 different tracks one just for kids and one for everyone else. He said he would try it only if he rode the kids side. Of course he loved it!

We've never done Circle of Life but its on our list for June.

I'm so jealous your gonna do the 24hours I would LOVE to do that!

I love the MNSSHP updates and all the pictures too you guys had a ton of fun and saw some things Matt and I didn't...I am most jealous of the magic hitch hiking ghost picture...I just finished uploading all my pixs from our party and should have the update up tomorrow

Just stopping by to dust and clean the cobwebs off of this PTR. Apparently the writers wanted this to be full of suspense.

Next stop was the character spot. I have never gone in here before because the line is always really long and I refuse to wait when I can eat at Chef Mickey’s and meet all the same characters without a line. Tracy really wanted to do it so we went. Well am I ever glad we did.






First up was Mickey...

Then Pluto...

Minnie Mouse...

Donald...

Then last but not least Goofy!

Well I told this Goofy the same thing I told the Goofy at TH (That I told my friends I was going to run away with him)
Well he didn’t try to bite my head off like at TH, instead he PROPOSED

I thought this was the best thing ever and of course I said yes, who wouldn’t?


Of course for the rest of the day I was on cloud nine!



Who can top that impromptu moment of bliss?!? We had a ton of fun the rest of the trip pointing out Natalie’s new husband to her and then of course later on when we welcomed their newest addition......


Oh look, now Goofy has bitten Demetri’s head!

I'm caught up again!!! We LOVE character spot! I know the line is super long, but I'd rather stand in one line for 5 characters than to have to wait in 5 separate lines!

It took awhile to convince my husband that waiting 45 minutes for 5 characters was worth it, but him & Luke love watching the cartoons & they enjoy the break from the sun/humidity!!! So it works out in the end for all of us!

You guys got some great group shots!!! Love ALL of the pics from Epcot so far!!!

Can't wait to read more!!!

The character spot is so worth the wait especially when you get moments like that!!! How awesome that Goofy proposed to you and made your day!

We haven't done the character spot yet either. In 2007 they had a sort o like character spot on the otherside of the building...hidden and we walked right in and it was awesome. I think they were building the main one at the time, so this was a start up spot till it was done. I always check the wait time...but I can't see waiting in the line that long...but we probably will some day.

When we finished up with Goofy a CM mentioned there were some characters out the back so we went out there and ran into
Belle

And Aurora

There was a little bit of magic on the meet with Aurora. In Ariana’s therapy sessions, she learned to answer the question “how old are you?” Well she was six years old when she was taught this, so she’s always automatically replied “six” when asked. This time though, when Aurora asked her how old she was, she replied “fifteen”! Seemingly a small thing, but for her a big thing. I immediately texted DH to tell him.


After the princesses we made our way to Test Track. Me and the girls had not been on this (maybe I was a few years ago but I don’t remember) and Emma had no interest so I decided to wait it out with her while Tracy took on the other kids.


Test Track is Demetri’s favourite Epcot ride and we all love the thrill of the speed! What are the details of the refurbishment for Test Track... anyone know? In any case, we had a blast as usual!

In the shop after the ride, we bought a 2011 bus for Demetri.

I had no big desire to ride so when they were done we started towards Spaceship Earth.


You should ride, it’s soooo fun!!
