I've really enjoyed your PR. It sounds like you guys had so much fun! I am also wondering what the Test Track refirb. is going to entail because my girls LOVE that ride! You guys have taken some wonderful pictures and had some really great character interaction. The Goofy store is adorable. I love that Ariana was able to say her age to Aurora; how awesome! (I have a daughter with Selective Mutism so I know how exciting those breakthorough moments can be! How special to have one at Disney.) Can't wait to hear more.

So I am going to post an update without Tracy's input as sh has been pretty busy lately.... hopefully she will be able to jump in with some comments and pictures


After that we decided even though it was still early we would make our way to CM’s. We were too early and they told us we had to wait half an hour to check in (really?) So we decided to grab a drink in the lounge while we wait. I got Sangria and it was very yummy!!!!
I don’t remember what Tracy had but I’m pretty sure she did not like it


Then I checked in again and they were willing to take us this time. We got our picture taken with the Mickey Statue (Why do they do this and who really buys the pictures? It’s just a statue, you will see the real Mickey in a few minutes) and were led to our table. We quickly ran up to get our food (after I ordered another Sangria )


then the characters started coming.


First up was Minnie, I believe Demetri was off getting food

Then Pluto

Goofy, I believe Demetri was off getting Ice Cream

Donald Duck

Eryka told him 1st was the worst 2nd the best so he signed #2 for her

And last but not least the Big Cheese himself

After dinner the plan was originally to head back to Epcot so we could watch Illuminations, but my kids came to me and said they really wanted to go back to the hotel and do some more swimming.
I knew Tracy really wanted to take Ariana to see Illuminations so I figured she would head back there with her kids, but she decided swimming sounded good too.


We decided to walk to MK and catch a bus back to Pop.

Good update. We bought the picture with the Mickey statue in Dec 2010. Since it was Ethan's 1st visit and 1st character meal. Heck we may even but it again as a good measuring stick to his trips.

Other than 1st trip I don't see much point of the pick with the statue I can take with my own camera

I found a lot this trip that plans got changed for swimming. The kids really like swimming since we usually go in Dec and don't get to swim much

Day 7 – Thursday September 29

This is my brother’s birthday so I made sure as soon as I woke up to text him and wish him a happy birthday!

I was up at 8am and off to the food court for breakfast. I didn’t want to wake Tracy so we just went without them. I believe they came when we were finishing up and me and the girls went to take some pictures of the Animation Resort construction.

There was a wall on the Generation Gap Bridge but I managed to shoot around it

This must be the Lion King area

It’s really coming along!

The girls were fascinated by this turtle

After I was done taking pictures I realized I was wearing my crocs and they were really hurting my feet the day before so I sent Eryka up to the room to grab my flip flops

We met up with Tracy and grabbed a bus over to the Studios.

We stopped for a few Photopass pictures

We were of course on our way to TSM when we ran into some celebrities

Check out his gun! He says it’s in case there’s any monkey business!!!

He gave Emma a ring

The kids really had fun playing along with these guys!
