Our Fun Vow Renewal TR & Vendor Reviews; 7/15-Randy photos

Your pictures are beautiful!!!! I love your dress, and your children in their costumes were too cute!!!

Your event looks like it was so much fun!! Seriously, everyone looks like they were having the time of their lives. I love that you let the kids dress up! As a kid I would have adored that, and it probably made the day extra special for them too! CONGRATS on you vow renewal!!

You & your family are gorgeous! I love everything!!!!

I also have the same prob with a cowlick and not getting the side low bangs I want. I go against my cowlick, instead of parting at it and part on the other side. I blow dry it down & spray the heck out of it. It usually stays.

Everything was so PERFECT!! I am sorry the officiant didn't do what you asked and that there were other small glitches, but everything looked absolutley wonderful and FUN! How wonderful that you got pixiedust as far as your reception location. And your gown was gorgeous. I love the MK pictures in the matching Mickey postcard attire. DH, DDthenalmost19 and I all wore those dresses/shirt to board the Disney Wonder last summer and the colors were so pretty. Congratulations on your very sweet love story, and thank you so much for sharing with us!

Okay girls, I think I figured out how to load pictures onto PhotoBucket, so maybe I can share some more photos.

Okay first of all my welcome bag that I gave to families:

Okay these are the 3 tshirts I made for everyone. The designs were provided by the Dis-signs here on Disboards. The brown ones are for Animal Kingdom. They had a Mickey safari head on front with their name at the pocket area, and on back it said "The (blank) Family". The yellow ones were for Epcot. They had a Disney design on front, and on the back the adults had "I Would Do It--Again!" (referring to a vow renewal) and the kids had their names in a Disney character font. At DHS they had red tshirts that had their individual family in Mickey stick figures.

The welcome bags themselves were a big hit because they were super light weight nylon. I got them for $1 each on ebay, and wrote their last names on them with a gel pen. I also included clear waterproof I.D. holders, which the guys loved because they could go to the pool and parks with just their tickets, and room key, and not have to worry about their wallets. I decorated those with their last names too. I got those for $3 each on ebay. The ladies all got Swarovski Belle cuffs, which I got for $25 each at the outlet store Memorial Day sale last year. I also provided everyone with dollar store ponchos which came in handy after dinner at Epcot.

Okay let me see if that picture came through.

YAY:banana:    !!!!

Okay, now I know that you copy IMG files from PhotoBucket to paste them in your post!

Here I go again:

This is my DH and DD2 the first night at Hoop De Doo Revue. We were seated at 3 tables right on top of the balcony. I thought it was a bit corny, but my DS7 was laughing his head off. They had us get up and dance because we were celebrating an anniversary. They acknowledge everyone who comes from far away or is celebrating an occasion there. The food was really tasty. Particularly the cornbread with soft butter. Bringing out washboards for everyone to play was just the kind of noisy fun my kids love.

This is the only complete group shot that I got at the parks because my BIL and SIL were more "pool people" than "park people", so they slept in every day while we were at the turnstiles at every opening. We did the Safari Celebration Dinner which was fantastic! Exotic buffet, Chip & Dale, and dancing. They gave us the best seats in the Jeep because my little sister is pregnant. My DH was so excited to see a cheetah a hundred feet from the Jeep, and was disappointed beyond belief when I burst his bubble by telling him there were invisible security measures all around us so the cheetah couldn't just leap at us (I read it in the Unofficial Guide).

This is at Epcot. Wearing matching tshirts was such an easy way for us to find each other. We split up each morning between a "wild group" that went on all the restricted rides (all the guys except my FIL) and a "mild group" (all the girls except my SIL) that went on some kiddie rides in the meantime. They used our tickets to get two sets of FP's at the same time. It was a good system for us. We pretty much hit every big ride we wanted to. Me and my little sister's families did the Princess lunch at Akerhaus, where all the princesses (except Jasmine) came to our table. My girls were in heaven (my nephew and son-- not so much;) ) We ate dinner at Le Cellier. Everyone said those were among the best steaks they've ever had.

This is at Ohanas, which was probably the best meal there. The food was so exotic and succulent, and we ate so much of it. They made a special noodle dish for my MIL who's vegetarian. Oh, here's a weird thing, if you say on your reservation that someone in your party is vegetarian, they list it as a "food allergy" on your reservation, and the chef always comes out and discusses what you want to eat with you. The kids LOVED doing all the trains and limbos and hawaiian dancing there.

This is my MIL and FIL at Mama Melrose. This too was a very tasty meal. We did the Fantasmic Dinner Deal, and got great seats to see the show. This is probably the best bang for your buck on the Disney Dining Plan.

Thanks for the compliments on my dress. It was a prom dress by Alyce Designs and cost $400. I never went to my prom, but there is no one I'd rather help me take off a prom dress than my DH:cool1: ;) so it all worked out well in the end.
