Thanks everyone! It's hard to get pictures of him not crying...then we figured out, he has Colic. :sad2: Screaming all the time, doesn't sleep well at all during the day, etc. I'm going to be trying some Gripe Water in a little bit to see if it will help him.

But i've got an update for you all!

On Saturday, I got our Disney's Magical Express booklet in the mail and realized, "Holy cow! That means our trip is right around the corner and I need to get my butt moving!"

So yeesterday and today I:

- Called DVC and added the dining plans to our reservation
- Changed the Waitlist for BLT from 31 days to 7 days (DH really wants to stay here)
- Made a reservation for a Park, Sleep, and Fly hotel at the Holiday Inn Express at LAX. Needed a crib or 'Pack n Play' for Calvin and the hotel we wanted didn't have them :confused3 Strange.
- Bought some glow stick necklaces from the dollar section at Target to put on the stroller at night
- Made a list of random things I need to bring: our own ground coffee, filters (do the villas have these?), paper cups w/lids for coffee in case we need to drink and run, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, steam bag for bottles, dish soap to wash bottles (do the villas have these?), and ponchos. I'm sure this list will get bigger as I figure out more items.

Can't believe we're leaving next month! :scared1::eek::banana:

Hello, jumping on board :goodvibes

Calvin is such a cutie! That's sucks royally about the colic. Our Son suffered from reflux when he was that little so he also didn't sleep well at night (or during the day), had problems eating etc which made him fussy a lot. I can definitely empathize with you. Hope the gripe water helps a lot!

Regarding the villas, I don't remember if they have coffee filters since we aren't coffee drinkers. But, I can tell you for a fact that they give you a travel size bottle of dish soap - it's been there all 3 times we've stayed DVC (both studio and 1 BR). Hope that helps!

Lesha Love the new pics. Calvin is just beautiful and so happy he is sleeping better for you.

Very cute pictures! Daddy is cute with him too!

Yes bring coffee filters! I also steal the little bottle of dish soap so bring a snack baggies to take them home. Bring lots of baggies of all sizes, you can store leftovers and other stuff much easier!

I'm hoping the gripe water helps too! I hate seeing him like this. For some reason, he's been sleeping very good at night (has hit the 5 hour mark now!) but during the day is when it hits him the most, so i'm hoping this will bring him some relief. I've been reading some really great reviews online about this and Colic Care.

Thank you so much for this info! Was going to buy a travel size bottle somewhere but now I won't need to!

I'm so happy he's sleeping for me too! :cool1:

Ooh great idea! I was planning on just brining gallon sized bags, but you're right, different sizes is probably a good idea.

Hi! I have a newborn little girl :) she will be 6 weeks on Wednesday. I've heard people have great success with the gripe water but it didn't do anything for us :(
We have been using the infant gas drops from Target. It is their generic brand and cost about $4. If the gripe water doesn't work...hopefully this will!! Good luck!!! You have a cutie!! :)

Congratulations! Our children are not too far apart:) I've heard that Colic Care and gas drops work, so i'm glad to have a few back up's just in case.:thumbsup2 Thank you!

I have no first hand experience, but on the birth boards I lurk, there are a lot of people that swear by Colic Calm also. Good luck and hope something helps!

I'm hoping it will be a cyst and nothing more than that. Have you had a cyst before Heather? Have you had them removed?

Once, my dr. wrote on the prescription that she thought it was a cyst and she wanted it aspirated but the tech/dr. at the hospital said that wasn't necessary. I'm not actually sure if that means it was a cyst but didn't need to be aspirated or it wasn't a cyst at all. I actually have a follow-up appointment scheduled with my dr. because she wants to check on another bump. Did you have your ultrasound yet?

The pictures of Calvin were super cute! I love the one where DH is crying with him :rotfl2:

I haven't even been using the Gripe water for 24 hours yet, and it seems to be helping so far! Way less crying and fussing then before. He's also not screaming bloody murder when he's trying to make a BM which is wonderful. Poor little man. Hopefully it will get better with continued use!

Oh wow, didn't know there was a medication you can take that can make it go away. I thought there was an invasive type surgery to take it away.

I have my appt at 8 am on Wednesday so am anxiously waiting for Wednesday to come.

Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you. There isn't a medication, the prescription was for the ultrasound. I had to bring it to the hospital with my dr.'s orders for the ultrasound. The procedure (as I understood it) was a needle that goes into the cyst and I think the fluid is removed that way so it is minimally invasive. I was very nervous for my first ultrasound so I totally understand your anxiety. Wednesday morning will be here soon and it will all be over with! Sending happy thoughts your way!!

Gotcha! I was like, "Man medicine is awesome now!" :lmao: Thank you!

Went to the Breast Center this morning to get a lump checked out in my left breast, and the technician said it was a cyst. Then she found another one. And another one! What the heck! She said usually if there's one, there's a few, which is normal. She needed to verify with the doctor before I left the facility, and the doctor confirmed that they were cysts. I don't have to do anything with them, unless they are uncomfortable. But they don't hurt me being there. So I guess they are there to stay! Just glad it is nothing more serious. :dance3: Also, did I mention Calvin slept for 7 hours one night, and 6 hours last night?! YAY! Disney World should be no problem now!

So glad it turned out to be nothing!!! :goodvibes And so glad Calvin is sleeping longer hours through the night!

Glad it wasn't something serious and that Calvin slept a lot last few nights!
