Well for the most part is was a pleasant experience. We traded out to The Claremont in the San Francisco Bay area.My Brother in law was married there this w/end.Great wedding. The hotel was beautiful.Everyone in the area knew the Claremont. When we were asked where we were staying and told them, the reactions were like'Oh,The Claremont".LOL..Loved playing the role
Anyway, the only bummer about the whole stay was the bill at the end.16.00 per day for parking and 10.00 a day for Resort incurrence fee.We were there for4 days,so you do the math. They neglected to tell us this at check-in and so it came as a bit of a suprise. The food was pretty good for California cusine, but nothing really stood out.We had a great view of The Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz from our room. That is when the fog wasn't making an appearance, which is almost always.
All in all we were very happy with our trade and it made things much easier for us with the hectic pace of attending a wedding 3,000 miles away.
I have uploade some pics of the resort and hope to get more up soon.
Enjoy!
