Our flight arrives in Orlando at 6pm on a Thursday night. What time do you think it is safe to make reservations at DTD? We'd like to eat at TREX cafe, if they take reservations... How much time should I allow to get from airport to POFQ, check in, and then boat to DTD for dinner??? Will we have time??

Hello from Wyoming - when is your trip? TRex is not currently taking reservations, just first come, first serve.

Are you taking ME? It usually takes us at least 1.5 hours from landing to check-in. We have been on that 6ish flight and missed 7:30 ADRs at DD. I would suggest you give yourself at least 2 hours - of course, we have the two hour time difference to our advantage.

Good luck and have a great trip.

It depends on whether you're taking ME or not like the previous poster said. If you are then i'd allow at least 2 hours if not more to get from the plane to check in. If you have a rental car and you're getting in at 6 then I would say don't make plans any earlier than 8. 8:30 should be fine. Have fun!

if you are using disney buses i wouldnt plan any earlier than 9. you should 1 1/2 to 2 hours for transprtation to resort. we always rent a car, and it still takes about 1 1/2 hours from the terminal. then youll need to check in and get your stuff to your room. after that if you have to take a bus that could be an hour. if you have your own car its a 10 minute ride to DD.

thanks alot everyone

is there a long wait at the airport for the ME? Do they normally wait for numerous flights to come in before heading to the resorts? why so long..

I just returned yesterday from WDW and wanted to add the sign posted said the T-Rex will not be open till Oct 14. So I am not sure when you are going and thought you might want to know this ahead of time.

thanks alot everyone

They will take people from a couple flights. There will be a line for to check in with them. They will fill up and then go to the resorts. I dont think it matters what flight you've come from. Then of course not everyone goes to the same resort, so there will be multiple stops.
